Exceptional friendly service from all staff, myself and wife where made to feel very welcome and comfortable from the moment we arrived, the food was some of the best I have tried, delicious flavors and good quality meat and seafood in the dishes which can be rare in a lot of resturants these days!This resturant is by far the best Indian resturant in the west norfolk (I've tried them all), they prioritise the customers and seem to have pride in serving mouth watering authentic Indian/Bangladeshi dishes for very reasonable prices!Although they don't have an Alcohol license, they are happy for you to bring your own ( there are two shops right outside so lots of choice! Highly Recommended I will be going back!

I have used this restaurant for years, but couldn’t get in for food this weekend, so ordered online at 6pm on Saturday. I did it online as I couldn’t get through on the phone, and to be fair, they did call me back but I had already completed the transaction online. I only ordered two meals, nothing difficult or complicated and got an email to say it would be approx 1 hour. This meal took over 2 hours to arrive. I only live three miles from the restaurant! After about 1hr 20 of waiting I called the restaurant to get an update and honestly they couldn’t really have cared less. I wasn’t even angry on the phone initially (ended up calling back twice) incase it delayed my food longer. They just kept saying they were really busy, or it would be there soon or that when I ordered next time to ask for a certain waiter who would make sure my order was a priority!? Ok, so my order was minimal and didn’t cost a fortune, but their lack of care and customer service was shocking. And over 2 hours - for 2 curry’s, seriously!? Food wise, one meal was fine, the other one had very dried out tandoori chicken meat in and they sent it the wrong naan with the meal, but honestly I couldn’t have cared less at that point as I was so hungry! This is the second or third poor meal I’ve had from here this year. I don’t like to leave bad reviews without giving places another chance, but it’s safe to say that I won’t be returning to this restaurant in person or ordering from here again and recommend people be vigilant when ordering online, as they clearly care more about people in the restaurant than they do about other loyal customers.

What a sweet little place! Really courteous service. And good food. We had 2 'Banquet Nights' and thought the portions would be reflected in smaller serving size but NO full sized plates all round. Took home a doggy bag too. Soft drinks only but I think you can byo? Wasnt a problem for us but if it is for you call and ask. Very happy to recommend this unassuming indian on a busy road with parking just around the corner.

We booked a table for 9 for our daughter’s 18th birthday. They were so accommodating, service was fantastic and above all the food was delicious! Such big portions and so flavoursome. Thank you for making it a happy and memorable occasion.

My friend and I were away for a couple and we're staying in King's Lynn. We eat at the Spice Inn. We were both so impressed. The service was friendly, relaxed, but so efficient. The food was really lovely. The portions plentiful and so tasty. The only sad part is that we don't live anywhere near King's Lynn! I could not recommend the restaurant enough.

Probably the best Indian/Bangladeshi restaurant in town. Don't go if you're expecting a traditional tandoori, this is more of a fusion place. The fish curry was exquisite. Very friendly service. We'll be back.

We alway order from here as a takeaway as we have always enjoyed the food, so we decided to eat in one night. The service was absolutely amazing and once again the food was beautiful. My favourite Indian takeaway/ restaurant!!

Amazing food and excellent friendly service. Would recommend Spice Inn to everyone. The menu has a great range and tempts you to try something different - the Murghi Manchurian was so tasty and definitely a dish I'd order again. The Paneer Shashlik as a starter was really good and way better than the cubes you usually get of the cheese. Must take photos next time! The value for money is fabulous too. You bring your own alcohol but their bar also serves some great cocktails for anyone driving or just not drinking. A new favourite in Lynn ⭐

What an absolutely superb place to eat. The food was absolutely delicious, high-quality, beautifully presented. The waiters were extremely attentive, on hand to answer any questions we had. It was a real bonus to be able to bring our own drinks - because the food is so reasonably priced it made it a very affordable night out. Well done Spice Inn and thank you! My first time visiting Kings Lynn. I walked past this place on the way to my B & B, and decided to go back for tea - I’m so glad that I did! I had a chicken mango Khurma- and whoever decided to pair a traditional Khurma with mango is an absolute genius! Firstly, the restaurant was spotlessly clean, with subtle decor and full of character. Music was in the background, and never intrusive. A lovely welcome from the staff, even though I was quite early in the evening. The popadoms to start were very fresh, and the accompanying condiments really tasty. The main course was beyond any curry that I have tasted before. Good quality chicken, paired with the most wonderful sauce. You can tell that it’s a traditional Khurma, but the mango gives a completely different and flavourful experience. The staff were great - attentive, without being a nuisance, and very friendly. People of Kings Lynn - you have a real gem here. Please give them the support that they deserve!

If you're coming to KL, this is head and shoulders above the rest, interesting menu, charming service, attentive without being pushy, beautifully presented tasty food, obviosuly prepared to order, the prices also very decent. Well done, deffo coming again. I went mad, couldn't move.

I bought a meal for delivery for myself and 3 friends. Worst curry I have ever eaten. The food was sloppy and lacking in flavour or spice. The main ingredients (meat/veg) were very lacking, all dishes were mostly sauce with a very stingy amount of meat/veg - even the tarka dhal was lacking in lentils - it was more like a thin grey gravy with a few lentils added. The food was very hot when it arrived so I didn't notice until it had cooled down a little that the paneer in one of my dishes tasted really off, so I stopped eating it but sadly I had already eaten a couple of bits of it. 3 of us got upset stomachs, mine was really bad and left me in bed for 2 days (the other two had different dishes from mine but had upset stomachs for 24+ hours). I eat a lot of curries and can cope with very spicy food (although they seem to have forgotten to add any spice to my dishes at all) I have never eaten anything as awful as this. I had checked the reviews too and it looked like it would be OK. Worst £78 I have ever spent. If I ever visit King's Lynn again I most certainly won't be eating food from here! It was 4 days ago and my stomach still isn't fully better. If we had eaten in the restaurant the whole meal would have been sent back to the kitchen.

Not great. We stayed at a local caravan site and ordered from here based on reviews. Food arrived hot, driver was friendly and it arrived pretty prompt! However chicken was dry and sauce was watery! The taste was there but execution not so Much! May have been slightly rushed because it was New Year's Day? Always believe in second chances so when we come back in the summer we will try again and update review accordingly.

We had a really good night made even better by the service we had the spice in plater for two witch is a lovely mix of flavour and textures I round it off with a royal naga and the wife had chicken tikka masala both were spot on the naga is very hot 😅 looking forward to are next meal see you soon spice inn

One of the best Indian restaurants I’ve ever visited - and I’ve visited many!! The food was so well prepared, tasted very fresh, not greasy at all. We both had the Prawn Tawa which was delicately spiced and absolutely delicious. We accompanied it with Bindi Bhaji which tasted so fresh, the vegetables were even crisp. Served with rice and excellent Naan Bread, the meal satisfied us so well we didn’t have a dessert, although these looked very tempting indeed. All in all, top quality food and service at very fair prices indeed.

Visiting Kings Lynn on business, overnight stop in travel inn, walked into Kings Lynn to find a nice Indian restaurant. So found the Spice Inn, it was so so good, Chicken Tikka Madras, rice and Naan bread. Quality was excellent in terms or food, staff and experience. Place was pretty much full also midweek which is always a good sign..!!

Useless. We ordered food and was given an hours wait. At the time the food was meant to arrive we were told the delivery driver hadn't even picked up the food. Another hour later they told us it wasn't their problem and to contact feedbelly. Rude and terrible customer service.

Good flavours, but very disappointed with the portion of curry with a miniscule amount of meat!! Generally shocked at the small pieces of lamb I was given and that I had to sieve through the sauce to find it. What a waste of money! Won't be ordering again, I'm afraid.

We arrived without a booking but were warmly welcomed. Restaurant was noticeably busy with take-out meals as well as in-house customers. We had a lovely meal with attentive but unobtrusive staff. On paying the bill we were given a red rose each, a lovely touch.

An old friend booked it for Christmas Day, initially not sure. However. OMG! The food was awesome. Freshness and lightness of touch, perfect seasoning and flavour. The meal arrived luke warm. The starter condiments were very runny. The starter chicken tikka had very little meat, seemed to be hidden by a multitude of onions. Pilau rice fine, more sauce than meat in the tikka massala; lamb with mint not the best. Taste suggests that it mainly comes out of tins and not cooked with fresh spices and herbs. Certainly not worth the money we paid for it. Very disappointed.

Stopped overnight in Kings Lynn and fancied a curry so I chose this place as the reviews were good. First thing it’s a very small restaurant so not many seats, we went early so got a table with no problem. We had the special menu for £14.95 each which consisted of a starter, main course, one side dish, rice or naan. We had a rice and naan between us.there was plenty to go round. Great value, the starter I had was a mixed kebab and it tasted fresh and there was plenty on the plate. Main course I had a chicken Karahi which also was good.Naan bread was fresh and tasted great. Staff were polite and attentive. I would recommend this restaurant and would go back if we ever pass that way again.

We usually eat in at the Spice Inn and have always really enjoyed the food. It has become apparent that they did not function well under pressure or via online delivered orders. We ordered our food via just eat at 18.19 and it didn't arrive until 20.20. I had to call the restaurant twice. When the food arrived it was only warm. Therefore, we didn't actually eat our food until 21.00. Unfortunately the food was not up to it's usual standard, not much meat in my Husband's curry and the chicken in mine was somewhat tough, although it was very tasty. This is such a shame because the food in the past has been very good. We did notice the last time we ate in the restaurant the menu had changed, so maybe the chef has? Suffice to say we will never order from this restaurant online again. Or probably dine in. Very disappointing!

From out of the area, so googled restaurant near me. Wasn’t disappointed with my visit. Friendly welcome, was given the choice of where to sit, rather than being put on a small table in a corner as I was on my own. Food was well above expectation, I would recommend a visit here without hesitation.

This was not a good experience our first curry since moving to Norfolk. Starter food was dry and overcooked and had 6 tiny pieces of lamb in my Dupiaza. My husband's madras also had very little chicken. It also just did not taste nice.

Bad etiquette from one particular waiter who spoilt our evening. We are quite elderly and this waiter, whilst on the phone taking orders, he told us to sit at a table for 2. There was no friendliness or politeness in his tone. We preferred a bigger table and there were several vacant! But we didnt want to make too much a fuss. Then, while we were engrossed trying to choose from the menu, this waiter barged into our personal space and took the plates away without any warning or an 'excuse me please' and we were shocked by this sudden encroachment behaviour! Though he apologised profusely, but by then, the whole event just made me loose my appetite and we left, and went to another restaurant and, believe it or not, we were treated like special guests!! Never will we step back into Spice Inn. Terrible service! It's not worth a star even.

I travel up and down the uk for work and have try a lot of currys. The spice inn food is the BEST curry i have ever tryed. We went on a Thursday night were they do a Banquet deal great value for money. Staff are great, friendly, welcoming and alway have a smile on there face.

Found this little restaurant by chance on an overnight stay in King's Lynn. Great service,price and food. Super friendly and helpful with our son too. Lemon rice was amazing. We had butter chicken and chicken achari... Both were delicious.Loo very clean too.

Visited this restaurant on several occasions and have never been disappointed with the food or service, the staff are very friendly and the quality of the food in my opinion is exceptional. If you have enough room opt for the banquet and for a very reasonable price you can have a wide choice of starters, mains, rice and a side dish or naan bread(my personal favourite is the peshwari naan). Parking is not a problem either with plenty of room at county court road just a short walk away.
