A small restaurant, so booking is advisable. Excellent menu, with a wide choice of dishes at very reasonable prices. Food was freshly cooked, well presented & generous helpings. Probably not good for a large group, but ideal for family or a small friends group. Staff were excellent & very friendly. We will certainly be coming here again.

Very authentic Thai food. Nice atmosphere, free parking around and accessible walking. Staff are friendly and recommend great dishes. Very reasonably priced. If you're new to Thai food I'll recommend the set menu. Tung yum soup is gourmet mixture of lemon grass, ginger and seafood. If you're Asian foodie, forget about pad thai but try their deep fried tiger prawns instead! full of flavours with 鑊氣

Everything is freshly made cooked by the young waiter's Mum and Dad. It was a truly a mazing experience. This is the real deal in King's Lynn.

Set meal for 2 excellent. Staff friendly and accommodating. tried set meal for two and had some lovely flavous not experienced before in Thai food. Tried Green Tea drink with milk and ice as someone on next table was drinking this. Gave us some to try which was unusual but a bit sweet. Booked in advance before as visiting for weekend and good job as small restaurant. Would recommend

Food was really tasty and arrived in decent time. However did order spicy crackers and received regular crackers with a single spicy cracker in the bag.

The delivery driver was amazing, went above and beyond. Unfortunately there’s no option to tip the driver on the app!

The restaurant is in my opinion in its early stages. It is clean and has an authentic Thai restaurant feel. There are about 9-10 tables. At 8pm there were two empty. The food is very good although the beef was a bit tough. My wife had a chicken dish which was great. The mixed starter for two was a big winner. Flavoursome and a good serving for two. The drink ( bottled beer / lager no draft) was a good price House white was ok. I will go back again as I see a lot of potential.

Rare gem, top notch Thai food in Kings Lynn (as good as in London). Talk to Bill (owner), he is hilarious and full of stories :)

This was our second visit to Dawinee and the food and service were as excellent as the first time. We had one of the set menus for two which were a great mix of Thai starters and mains, followed by their apple fritters which are a "must" for anyone eating there. Great value and excellent service - we will certainly be returning.....

Well I went in not knowing g what to expect in littel old Kings Lynn. I was very much pleasantly surprised by the quality of the dishes, beautifully presented, and delicious too. Straying away from my usual haunt of red curry, and as I always do have an internal crisis-but all was fine. I went for the dimsum,, which was presented with artistic flair, followed by stir fried beef with basil , all superbly cooked. I washed it down with a Chang beer, it won't break the bank at all. Q The decor is quite modern, based on a traditional background. You should cpem here. It gets full from Thurzday on, so booking is quite essential.

Brilliant freshly cooked Thai food, nothing was too much trouble, its family run and even though we were the only group in that evening there was a lovely friendly atmosphere. Service was great, help and recommendations given if you didn’t know what to choose. It was amazing and we’ll definitely be going back.

We tried this beautiful Thai restaurant tonight, and my god, the food is outstanding and very well presented. It took me back to Thailand. Staff were great food hot and delicious. I would definitely recommend it.

Yumny food! The starters were nice but I'm not sure how value for money it was really, the won tons were crispy on edges but had gone a little soft in middle. The fish cake thing was really nice and the prawn toast lovely and crispy. The pad Thai was nice. I originally wanted the panang curry but adding rice was 3.50/4.50 so I decided against it. Warm and yummy food.

After two hours food had not arrived. Phoned the restaurant to be rudely told the driver hadn’t turned up so I’m not getting the food. I ordered from elsewhere then the food turned up stone cold. Won’t be ordering from here again

Took both my parents and lnlaws there at the same time. They were all stunned by the incredible quality of the food and drink. My father in law claimed it was literally the best duck he has ever eaten (and he just turned 80!). Can't recommend this place enough.

Omg been a few times now and i am going back more frequently the food is amazing in quality and taste. The mixed starter it the best a little bit of everything. Drunken noodles and pad thai noodles are amazing full of flavor. Tried the ribs this time, with no effot they fell off the bone. I will be back.

Absolutely brilliant food! Super delicious and you keep wanting more with every bite of their food! We went after reading good reviews of the place and we were not disappointed! Special mention to Bill, our superhost, who made our dinner date even more fun, he most certainly enhances the whole experience of visiting Dawinee! There is lots of free parking available behind the restaurant (follow the Tesco car park sign and drive straight ahead instead of turning into Tesco). Overall, a great experience, will be returning again very soon! :)

A small Thai family run business with Mum as the chef so the food is absolutely authentic. The rest of the family are front of house and offer friendly advice to those not familiar with Thai cuisine. Great place and good value.

Glad we found this gem! The best Thai cuisines in our travels from Scotland to England and back to Australia. Would come to return to try all the dishes but have to move to our next destination tomorrow. The big prawns dishes are so delicious especially with the tamarind sauce and the coconut rice. Drunken noodles just as tasty for me.

Food arrived quick and was delicious!

The mixed starter was quite crunchy and then broken glass was found in my spring roll. The waiter/owner was apologetic but “we don’t want any trouble “ was not a good opening gambit. In essence having big chucks of jar glass in a hand made on site spring roll is not good. When we were then presented with a bill minus a starter, it was not good. Had to ask for the wine to be deducted, but just wanted to leave at this point knowing I’d swallowed 2 mouthfuls of glass due to thinking it was just crispy or a bit gritty. The food was also the blandest Thai food I’ve ever had. Avoid is my advice.

Beat food in King's Lynn hands down.

We were welcomed with smiles and were pleasantly surprised at the quality of service and food here. Everything was freshly prepared and served hot and all in good time. The interior decor needs some attention as it all appears a bit dated and tired but that didn’t spoil our visit. It appeared to us to be a very experienced family run restaurant serving great food.

The food was really good, they tend to not be too spicy, so if you like it hotter discuss your preferences with Bill before you order. Portions are generous and you are made to feel very welcome. A genuine family business that deserves to flourish. Give them a try, you will go again for sure.

This is the most bizarre place. The restaurant is depressing, gloomy and full of plastic flowers. If that’s your thing, go for it. But, but, the food. Wow. As good as I’ve ever had in any Thai restaurant, anywhere. Oddball waiter. Fabulous food.

Hung around outside waiting for a table - it was well worth the wait. Food was brilliant, with a very strong taste. Value was good too. Our waiter was larger than life, and seemed to genuinely love his workplace. We were even given complimentary matcha...
