Made our order, paid in advance. Four young ladies behind the counter, not really knowing what was going on. We waited for twenty minutes before a pot of tea, diet coke, and scone arrived. My cake didn't arrive. We watched as one young lady behind the counter got out squirty cream for the scone with jam and cream! Squirty cream! What's that all about? We asked for clotted cream but she said that was all they had. Not true, as another customer shortly after us got clotted cream. Thanks for that. I had to ask for my cake, which they forgot a second time. Lots of flies buzzing around too. They need to get a fly zapper. Quite disappointed, as somewhere in such a characterful village should be much much better.

This is a great cafe - the coffee is a special blend, the tea is loose leaf and served in pots, all the cakes and cookies and brownies are baked in the cafe. My daughter loves the bubbles teas and the milkshakes. You can also get really healthy lunches - particularly in the specials. It's a lovely place to be - you can tell that everything has really been made with love and care. It's become a real regular haunt for me.

Popped into the Wendy house for some lunch with an old friend. We had the bacon roll with homemade chilli Jam and it was lovely; customer service was fab, the girls behind the the till were very welcoming. We also tried some of Wendy’s lovely cakes, we had the chocolate cake and Victoria sponge and even brought another slice to take home with us ! Highly recommend a visit !

The coffee here is so good I have to buy their 1kg bags to get my hit at home! Enjoyed a lovely brunch this weekend with a friend, we enjoyed bagels, chunky rolls, milkshakes and of course coffee ☕️

Came here for lunch whilst on a reccy to consider a move to Cranbrook. On arrival, there were a number of empty tables but all were covered in debris. A table was cleared for us but wiping it down was clearly a step too far. We were left waiting to order whilst the staff chatted to people and cuddled dogs. We eventually had our order taken just as we were about to give up and drinks arrived fairly promptly. However, the food order seemed to be forgotten and we watched others who'd ordered after us get their food as we continued to be ignored. 1 hour 15mins after arriving and a chase reminder our toasted sandwiches finally arrived. 1 sandwich missing an ingredient that we'd been specifically been asked if we wanted included and the 3 tiny potato wedges luke warm and clearly cooked and prepared many moons ago along with a teaspoon of "coleslaw" basically a few shredded bits of veg with a bit of dressing. We waited again for the bill after chasing and eventually put the money on the counter and left as once again the staff were too busy chatting. We left to the same tables piled with debris from departing guests none of which were cleared during our lengthy lunch. We won't be back!

This was the worst service I have experienced in a very long while. We were seated on entering the premises and then ignored while the young girls behind the counter chatted with their friends,in the end I had to ask for a menu which prompted someone to come and take our order. We ordered two coffees and two toasted sandwiches, the time was 14.25 and the cafe was not busy. After 5 minutes we received our drinks, bearing in mind we were sat opposite the counter, and waited for our food. At 14.50 twenty five minutes after ordering our food ( which had not arrived) we paid for our drinks and left. Not a very pleasant experience.

The Wendy House has fast become my favourite cafe. Great coffee, loose leaf tea in pots, imaginative milkshakes, bubble teas and smoothies to drink. Amazing cakes, all baked in house, great lunches - ranging from light and healthy to a full English. It’s always an incredibly friendly place to come - just for a cup of tea or a family lunch. This is exactly what you want in a cafe.

Excellent coffee and gluten free cake, made by Wendy. Just in time for Christmas. Partner had a bacon roll with chilli jam (which is delicious). Thoroughly recommended as previously.

With my wife, called in for morning coffee. This was my first visit but it won't be my last. Greeted by friendly staff who took our order and served it without any undue delay. The coffee was tasty and the surroundings were light, clean and very welcoming. An added bonus is that it is dog friendly. A great cafe.

Thank you so much Wendy for the exquisite cake you designed for my 60th birthday party I couldn't believe how beautiful it looked when we picked it up on Saturday, the unicorn design and sparkles were exactly what I wanted. The whole cake was such an amazing work of art, it was too lovely to cut into but we did and it tasted delicious; moist sponge, feather light butter cream and a lovely vanilla taste. It was much admired and has nearly all gone, despite its vast size, just a little left to accompany a cup of tea this week. Many thanks once again, the gf/ vegan cupcakes you made were also a great hit.

2 coffees & 2 breakfasts would’ve been ok if it wasn’t for the bacon that was like plastic. It must’ve been cooked previously & keep warm in the oven. Woman at till told me that it had been cooked to order. Wouldn’t bother eating here again.

. Tearoom we've visited! A warm welcome awaits you in this pretty place where you'll be served delicious food, whether you're in the mood for morning coffee, lunch or afternoon T! Why not 🅿️in Cranbrook for free, have a saunter down the High Street and there, past the Church, you'll be rewarded for your efforts.

We were glad to find The Wendy House (formerly Cocolicious) open at nearly 5pm on a Saturday afternoon - delicious Nutella and Oreo milkshakes and a nice vibe. The interior is similar to how it was when it was Cocolicious but perhaps a bit more...

A Tuesday night in January where other pubs in nearby villages are closed it was a joy to find this one open. A great traditional pub with a nice warm fire, friendly welcome, reasonable drinks, what more do you want? Deserves to be supported. Well done!

I was traveling down south through Frome and stopped here a bit late in the evening. I was quiet lost with finding out everything I needed for the next day. I was given plenty of information and help. The owner of this pub is an absolute Gentleman, The pub atmosphere is very friendly concidering its a small area and many lsmaller areas are not favorable to strangers. I'm looking forward to going back again.
