The Wellow in North East Lincolnshire

Got a parking fine on 26 June didn't even know I had to put my reg in even tho I was using their pub for a drink and a drink for my lad and for him to play on the bouncy castle was there just over 20 minutes to then get a 100 pound fine for parking no staff told me about this plus I paid cash and never got a receipt wont be going again that's for sure only just put this on as only just got the fine through

Lovely food, quick service, staff were all friendly including assistant manager who went above and beyond. Would definitely come back again, best pub in the area

We have been many times with no complaints, But this time we feel we have been ripped off. I had chicken new yorker, 2 very small pieces of chicken, very little cheese about 20 peas and very little frys. This was a small child's meal. Will never go again, disgusting.

We had an okay experience. It was a nice atmosphere but the food and service was subpar. They didn’t have a couple of menu options for our meal, which was fine. We then ordered an alternate dish and confirmed it twice with the person working the till before being served the wrong dish. The food itself was alright; chicken on the quadzilla was great, along with the garlic mushrooms and halloumi strips. The rest of our food was okay. We then went to order a dessert and were immediately told that they didn’t have the dish, yet again another thing they didn’t have on the menu. Then, I went back to order a different dessert and the guy said they actually did have our original dessert in stock. I wouldn’t have known this if I hadn’t gone up again, nobody felt compelled to come to our table and tell us. It was all a frustrating process. No mention at the till that they don’t have things on the menu, would have saved us a lot of time and stress. The food wasn’t worth all of it. Probably wouldn’t go here again.

The pub is placed in a great spot right in the middle of Thorpe park and the beach, food was nice and enjoyable. The staff were helpful and always around.

Finally! After a few different poor experiences with other establishments within Hungry Horse/Farmhouse Inns The Wellow has restored my faith back in your business. We planned a management meeting/food catch up with you guys and it couldn’t have gone more smoother after being treated so badly when we had planned else where previously. Abby went above and beyond for me and my team, nothing was too much trouble. The booking was booked to fit what we needed to have space to discuss our agenda for 2024. Thanks again.

Popped in for some food with some friends after work, customer service was lovely, fast service and food came quick and was piping hot and tasted delicious!

Been a regular for years but stayed away lately due to Abbot Ale not being on, food hit and miss ans basics like coleslaw never available and pub in general disrepair and unkempt. We decided to give it a visit this evening and we were pleasantly surprised. Chairs had been reupholstered, floors looked clean, Abbott ale was on and coleslaw was served too. Not holding out breath but I hope these standards can be maintained and you might see locals who now frequent Whetherspoons return

Came here for x-mas dinner and was not disappointed. The food was excellent and so were the staff. It was a relaxed atmosphere, no hustle or bustle. They did not rush you through the courses. We had garlic bread for starters, yummy, then the mains, more yummy, and the x-mas pudding, just topped it all off. All in all a very enjoyable experience. Have provisionally booked for next x-mas

Food was spot on as always, went down a treat whilst watching my lovely Red Devils having their backsides handed to them on a plate. Great hangover cure, 10/10 would definitely smash. Pub quiz on a Monday is also an interesting night, hosted by the one and only Gunn, who makes the quiz 11/10 with his gorgeous looks.

Terrible Christmas dinner. Soggy turkey, the stuffing ball nearly broke my teeth and the sprouts were very undercooked. They also didn’t have any of the set puddings available but they did let us order a pudding from the main menu. Unfortunately we will not be going back anytime soon. Not surprising it was quiet for this time of year.
