The Welcome Hut Canvey Island in Castle Point

Hot chocolate and biscuits hit the spot for all of us. Friendly and helpful staff even went to check if they could find more varieties.

Brilliant service from what I believe to be a family run business and really enjoyed the food after a walk along the seafront. Thank you ladies

Canvey is adapting well to there new clientel and new Corvid-19 restrictions. I do hope that it can survive the short term to succeed in the long term.

It was a different Canvey I visited this year. 1st day out after lock down and restrictive visiting. However, Canvey offered warmth with, ice creams and doughnuts plus a fish n chip shop. I indulged in an ice cream and enjoyed sitting watching the waves ripple, and increase in size as a ship sailed by. Sea air is so invigorating and brisk. Canvey is changing and I look forward to more visits this year and beyond, restrictions allowing.

Been visiting the Welcome Hut since I can remember. Decent seaside burgers and hot dogs served with a smile at an affordable price. Thankyou. X

Good honest workers! I left my purse behind and a lovely lady called Julie kept it safe and drove 10 miles to Basildon to deliver it to me. I cant thank the staff enough for there help. The Ice Cream is the best on the Island I only use this shop! Great value, friendly staff and the BEST customer service!!!!! Thank you Welcome Hut
