I personally think sues cafe is an excellent place to have a lovely cup of tea 🍵 And latte also excellent choice of food the ladies are welcoming and friendly. So after a lovely walk along the sea front. Have a relaxing drink and something scromdidlyumsh to eat. Before making your way back to the sea front

Great no nonsense Cafe, very pleasant staff, generous portions and very reasonable. If I’m back on Canvey I’ll definitely call in again.

Firstly, no toilets. This is not great if you have kids or want to wash your hands before you eat. Then while ordering I witnessed the lady that was cooking touch raw bacon with her hands and then go back to grating cheese and making sandwiches without washing her hands. My chips where like grease filled sponges and just leaked oil into my mouth as soon as I bit them. I would not recommend and would never visit again.

Had their set meal sausage beans chips and bacon (sues special) with bread n butter with tea Excellent presentation and a very realistic price of £6.90 worth every penny

Visited twice. First experience better than the last, which will gladly be the last. Quite hostile, blunt kind of rude. The lovely young girl with brunette hair at the tills was very kind and helpful. Not willing to accommodate with changing anything on the menu (strictly set menu) asked to swap out a cup of tea for something else as meal was for a child and was refused. Had to approach staff to ask them to clean tables, cutlery poorly cleaned, no toilet facilities. And some condiments like sauces you have to pay for.

Reviewing as I sip my tea, I asked for a tea cake, she walked in a room and brought out frozen buns, defrosted and stuck in toaster and to add insult to injury, put marg on it. Hard and sunken in the middle. What an insult to paying customers. I asked for my money back, no apology, just took it from me and gave me £1.50.

Cheap and cheerful but to be honest had better fry ups in my life Not terrible but not my first choice

Poor service and asked me to to ask from the window for salt and vinegar when she could've just given us some. What made it worse was the long queue out side stopping me from efficiently picking it up

Nice friendly cafe, the staff are warm and welcoming. The food is reasonably priced although I was charged £9:10 for a jacket with chilli which is over priced given the prices of the rest of the menu. There are no toilet facilities so not great if you have small children or a weak bladder although public toilets are nearby

They don't have a toilet so wouldn't recommend for children.

Breakfast was ok. Plenty of it, but food average. Would eat there again but, sadly, I wouldn't go out of my way to visit specifically.

She's cafe is a great quite place you can go and enjoy a big breakfast for a reasonable price if I fancy a cafe I always go to this one

Just a nice cafe. You know what you're going to get. We love it for breakfast and can get 3 breakfasts and drinks for less than £15. Give it a try!

A really nice place to stop for some quick english food. The bacon sandwich was really Tasty and not too badly priced. i recommend if you want a nice little lunch

Great place to step inside, they got a cool zany style cafe and old style amusements.

Burnt toast, greasy food, dirty cutlery, cleanliness terrible- we had to move tables due to the amount of rubbish and food on the floor beneath us. Sub standard fare for passing seafront trade, much better options elsewhere on the Island.

Stopped for coffee on windy day after visit to park and walk along the seafront. Owners/servers were lovely but the service was terribly slow. Probably wouldn't have minded on a nice day but was a bit cold and windy so although i wanted a coffee to warm me up I actually got colder waiting around - so much so, we curtailed our seafront trip at this point and went home. I only hope/assume they take on extra (faster) staff during the busy summer/holiday months!
