Get yourselves here. The beers are good, the cocktail happy hour hilarious, and the food tasty and delicious. Add in a lovely intimate beer garden and a convenient location and you have a pub to which I’ll definitely return. Just a lovely evening!

I went to an incredible Full Flowermoon Soundbath at the Weir yesterday evening. I cannot think of a more perfect way to start my week and set my intentions. My favourite place now not only for a Sunday roast but for my wellness moments 😊

Always looking for new venues that compliment our pop up shopping markets that take place at Syon Park. After a meeting we headed for drinks and this was a perfect hidden gem just off Brentford High Street with an outside area overlooking the canal. We will be recommending this place as a perfect before or after venue to visit.

I loved my birthday dinner at The Weir. The garden is so beautiful, the staff fun and attentive, the food fab (classics but really deliciously made - steak, pie, burgers). It really is such a great pub! Special mention to fab Callum and Ava who looked after us so well - the staff there really care and also seem to have fun doing their job. I'm going back on Sunday;)

Came here 2 days in a row. First visit had pizza and fish n chips, too much for 2 people to eat... 2nd night shared the crab and lobster tortellini. All of it awesome, the staff is friendly, the environment is open, chill and relaxed.

Sunday lunch as a birthday treat for our daughter. Absolutely first class experience from the minute you arrive. Food and service really top notch and greatly appreciated. Highly recommended as a venue you should always head to in Brentford. Big thanks to Ava, Erica and the whole team.

We celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary with a trip to The Weir for Sunday Roast. We enjoyed our meals and had excellent service from Auci. We definitely recommend this bar and restaurant for great food, atmosphere and service!

A few of my friends recommended this pub and I thought I’d give it a try, and I must say I was very impressed. Beautiful beer garden, open space, friendly staff and a good variety of food (highly recommend the spatchcock chicken), so definitely coming back here. A lovely ambiance where we sat in the dining area at the back of pub. All staff were so welcoming and our waitress was friendly. Service was great, food delicious and reasonable prices. We were sorry couldn't stay longer to enjoy the riverside garden and the dj in the bar.

In London for the first time in 40ish years staying a a nearby hotel. Called in on the off chance of a meal. Extremely well looked after by Callum and the staff. Meal was excellent. Called in again 2 days later. Same very pleasing service. Callum even recalled our names. Yet another superb meal. One to remember next time we are in London.

Stopped here for a beer. The London Pride was well kept. They were expecting a large group on a match day so I didn't investigate the food.

We had our wedding reception at the Weir in Brentford. The everything was organised by the owner Jo. Great food great service the guests had a wonderful time.

We went as a party of five people. Olivia was perfect. Friendly and professional despite her pens running out of ink. She remembered exactly what we wanted.

The location is an 11/10 it was very nice with a garden sitting area by the river. The food was good and the service was awesome very friendly staff and owner. The location is what makes this place a hidden gem in my opinion. Come for the good food and staff stay for the view and vibes.

Our family of 26 lunched on Sat 12/4/25 at The Weir in their Conservatory Restaurant to ‘Celebrate Life’ for a sad death. Bittersweet inevitably, but hugely successful on every level. Newly refurbished and with super riverside gardens, the whole experience could not have gone better. Highest recommendation. Thanks!

We had the absolute best Saturday celebrating my boyfriend's birthday! The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of charm, especially the beautiful garden area which made the whole day feel so special. A huge shoutout to our waiter, *Callum*, who truly made the experience unforgettable. He was incredibly professional, always had a smile on his face, and struck the perfect balance of being attentive without ever being intrusive. It’s rare to come across service that feels so natural and genuinely kind. Thank you for making our celebration one to remember — we’ll definitely be back!

It was my first time visiting, I opted for the pork roast and was served by Callum who was very warm and welcoming. The roast was delicious and I recommend to anyone who hasn’t already tried!

Found this Gem today after reading about its lady owner winning an award. Had Sunday roast outside on the fabulous terrace overlooking the weir and water. From entering the pub I was greeted by the owner..what a delightful welcoming lady. The waiter and staff were so polite, efficent, so lovely as was the lovely roast beef sunday lunch food.and drink. Can not recomend this pub enough!. Thank you. Superb!

Went along for a drink and the pub has a lovely garden with twinkly lights, overlooking the canal. There is a lovely atmosphere both inside and outside the pub. Didn't have food but will definitely be back to try it.

Food was very poor, I had a nicer experience here before with the food. We booked a table outside but were sat inside not by choice. I thought we booked it and were looking forward to sitting outside. Ordered salt and pepper squid we got watery calamari ( misleading) and prawn and smashed avocado salad we got some sort of frozen horrible shrimp. If it wasn’t for Erika we would have left. PS: last summer we were here every Friday had numerous lunches, Alfie used lo look after us, VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Erica! 10 years running hospitality venues in West London, people like this are gold dust, keep hold of her and don't let her go! Service was brilliant however the pizza just needs more time on the oven.

A trip down memory lane to see what was once The White Horse. You now get fine ale, background live musician, excellent staff and management and the bathroom is hotel standard, clean ornate with candles in the men's. Outstanding and caring hospitality. Go there and see Brentford's finest.

The place on first view is lovely,however....this is not the west end and prices are the same and not great standard ! Horrified at (I assume the manager) Yelling at staff like they were cattle while the bar was busy ,not nice to over hear this . Staff dont stay long which says huge amounts for management ?

This pub has all the makings of a great spot in Brentford, but unfortunately, our Mother’s Day visit fell short. Service was extremely slow and noticeably inattentive—we waited over 30 minutes just to place a drink order and eventually had to go to the bar to order food ourselves. We arrived at 5pm and didn’t leave until 7:30, which is far from ideal for a Mother’s Day dinner with young kids. Disappointed, as I had high hopes for the experience. The food was good but not worth the wait and unacceptable service.

On March 29th, we made a visit to the pub. We had planned to undertake a pub crawl, however, due to our satisfaction with the service, we decided to stay for a few hours. We were immensely pleased with the service and the staff's kindness.

Lovely staff, very professional and very accommodating regarding vegan menu.

Great menu- what’s not to like about Bloody Mary and oysters. Beautifully cooked rib eye and peppercorn sauce. Amazing service. Fabulous location. singer/guitarist with phenomenal set. Could not want for more on Saturday night out.

The menu and cocktails used to be better. They are still good quality and made well (staff are still great) but I preferred the flavours before.

Terrific local pub with a great canal side terrace - pizzas, DJ and different themes on certain nights. Super friendly staff and sitting outside listening to the Weir with a cool one in hand is a great pleasure.

Came here for dinner. Food was delicious and didn’t take too long to be served. The atmosphere was just right for a Wednesday evening - relaxed and comfortable. Our server Erica, was brilliant. Vegetarian breakfast was very good, some of the best eggs I have tried. Very fair prices and beautifully laid out pub. Dog friendly too. Service from Callum very good, will go again definitely 👍

We visited on a Thursday lunchtime for the “Oyster & Bloody Mary” deal. The food was fantastic and Hannah, who served us was extremely helpful, polite and nothing was too much trouble. Would thorough recommend. Atmosphere was only 4 stars because unfortunately there were some very loud customers adjacent to us, but accept this is not anything that The Weir can do anything about.

I had chicken roast for my lunch with yorkshire pudding with greens which was so tasty, l have thoroughly enjoyed. Food was hot and smells so good. Staff was very attentive and l had tried cocktail which was overall good.

Erica the staff member gave the most amazing service bubbly, friendly and nothing was too much. The Chicken Sunday dinner was great
