A lovely ambiance where we sat in the dining area at the back of pub. All staff were so welcoming and our waitress was friendly. Service was great, food delicious and reasonable prices. We were sorry couldn't stay longer to enjoy the riverside garden and the dj in the bar.

Very personal service - Callum was extremely charming & professional- really appreciated his service. Good was ok!!!

In London for the first time in 40ish years staying a a nearby hotel. Called in on the off chance of a meal. Extremely well looked after by Callum and the staff. Meal was excellent. Called in again 2 days later. Same very pleasing service. Callum even recalled our names. Yet another superb meal. One to remember next time we are in London.

Had a great Sunday roast with the family. The food was more than good and Callum was super friendly. Will definitely be back.

Stopped here for a beer. The London Pride was well kept. They were expecting a large group on a match day so I didn't investigate the food.

The location is an 11/10 it was very nice with a garden sitting area by the river. The food was good and the service was awesome very friendly staff and owner. The location is what makes this place a hidden gem in my opinion. Come for the good food and staff stay for the view and vibes.

Our family of 26 lunched on Sat 12/4/25 at The Weir in their Conservatory Restaurant to ‘Celebrate Life’ for a sad death. Bittersweet inevitably, but hugely successful on every level. Newly refurbished and with super riverside gardens, the whole experience could not have gone better. Highest recommendation. Thanks!

It was my first time visiting, I opted for the pork roast and was served by Callum who was very warm and welcoming. The roast was delicious and I recommend to anyone who hasn’t already tried!

We had the absolute best Saturday celebrating my boyfriend's birthday! Found this Gem today after reading about its lady owner winning an award. Had Sunday roast outside on the fabulous terrace overlooking the weir and water. From entering the pub I was greeted by the owner..what a delightful welcoming lady. The waiter and staff were so polite, efficent, so lovely as was the lovely roast beef sunday lunch food.and drink. Can not recomend this pub enough!. Thank you. Superb!

Went along for a drink and the pub has a lovely garden with twinkly lights, overlooking the canal. There is a lovely atmosphere both inside and outside the pub. Didn't have food but will definitely be back to try it.

Erica! 10 years running hospitality venues in West London, people like this are gold dust, keep hold of her and don't let her go! Service was brilliant however the pizza just needs more time on the oven.

Food was very poor, I had a nicer experience here before with the food. We booked a table outside but were sat inside not by choice. I thought we booked it and were looking forward to sitting outside. Ordered salt and pepper squid we got watery calamari ( misleading) and prawn and smashed avocado salad we got some sort of frozen horrible shrimp. If it wasn’t for Erika we would have left. PS: last summer we were here every Friday had numerous lunches, Alfie used lo look after us, VERY DISAPPOINTED!

The place on first view is lovely,however....this is not the west end and prices are the same and not great standard ! Horrified at (I assume the manager) Yelling at staff like they were cattle while the bar was busy ,not nice to over hear this . Staff dont stay long which says huge amounts for management ?

A trip down memory lane to see what was once The White Horse. You now get fine ale, background live musician, excellent staff and management and the bathroom is hotel standard, clean ornate with candles in the men's. Outstanding and caring hospitality. Go there and see Brentford's finest.

This pub has all the makings of a great spot in Brentford, but unfortunately, our Mother’s Day visit fell short. Service was extremely slow and noticeably inattentive—we waited over 30 minutes just to place a drink order and eventually had to go to the bar to order food ourselves. We arrived at 5pm and didn’t leave until 7:30, which is far from ideal for a Mother’s Day dinner with young kids. Disappointed, as I had high hopes for the experience. The food was good but not worth the wait and unacceptable service.

While it took a long time to get some of the orders the service and attention we received was excellent and the food was delicious. Thanks guys for making it a positive experience.

On March 29th, we made a visit to the pub. We had planned to undertake a pub crawl, however, due to our satisfaction with the service, we decided to stay for a few hours. We were immensely pleased with the service and the staff's kindness.

Please let staff know that this was the best service ever I am. A fellow Chef who understands the pain of hospitality and I can say from the bottom of my heart that this was the most appetitive service I’ve had thankyou very much

Came here for dinner. Food was delicious and didn’t take too long to be served. The atmosphere was just right for a Wednesday evening - relaxed and comfortable. Our server Erica, was brilliant. She was really friendly, an expert on the menu and made us want to come back again soon! Thank you for a lovely evening.

Terrific local pub with a great canal side terrace - pizzas, DJ and different themes on certain nights. Super friendly staff and sitting outside listening to the Weir with a cool one in hand is a great pleasure.

Perfect Sunday roast lunch. Staff were super friendly and welcoming, especially as we were a group with two toddlers. Would highly recommend a visit.

We visited on a Thursday lunchtime for the “Oyster & Bloody Mary” deal. The food was fantastic and Hannah, who served us was extremely helpful, polite and nothing was too much trouble. Would thorough recommend. Atmosphere was only 4 stars because unfortunately there were some very loud customers adjacent to us, but accept this is not anything that The Weir can do anything about.

I had chicken roast for my lunch with yorkshire pudding with greens which was so tasty, l have thoroughly enjoyed. Food was hot and smells so good. Staff was very attentive and l had tried cocktail which was overall good.

The homemade chicken pie was delicious!

Had a great dinner after the rugby. Oysters, fish and chips, pizza. Erica was terrific: Hook ‘em! Enjoyed it all.

Very pleasant evening especially because of the charming Erica who was our server. Very efficient and friendly Food was good not great but we would definitely return because of the location, the ambiance and the service The pub looks like it has had a bit of a makeover so it looks bright and fresh I had fish and chips which was a generous portion. Could have been a bit crispier but was still good .

Fabulous staff and wonderful view over the canal. Guitarist too loud. People want to be able to talk to each other. Better with NO music. Erica gave us such a welcome and such good service.

Restaurant is a little off the the main thoroughfare, but we were lucky enough to find it. Lovely atmosphere and Callum, the manager, couldn't have been nicer. We had a delicious roast chicken for lunch and Callum gave us a brief overview on the building's history. Who knew we has stumbled upon the painter, Williams Turner's, former abode? How cool? Definitely recommend coming here for a nice luncheon or dinner.

We got the pub recommended and I have planed my farewell party very last minute. Erica was amazing. Always made sure that we were served and made our experience so much better with her welcoming approach. We would definitely come again and to bring our staff back here. Found The Weir by asking a local man whilst visiting Brentford FC in a pub that didn’t serve food if he could recommend anywhere and he said straight off without hesitation “go to The Weir and thank me later” he was bang on it was a real treat! The whole experience was first class, the staff, the atmosphere and to top it off the food was great!! Will definitely be going again when in London

Brilliant pub with the best beer garden in brentford overlooking the water. When there’s a DJ or live music is the best time to go. Food is really good but can be quite a wait sometimes and they could do with some more non-alcoholic beers. Overall though, a super-friendly team, lovely cocktails, great Guinness, and one of the top locals and again beer garden perfection.

Drove past this pub last week, and thought I must try it out, so we booked for Sunday lunch. I pleased to say that everything was perfect from start to finish. Lovely decor and ambience, enhanced by very friendly and helpful staff. My partner and I, ordered the lamb from the menu, and it was superb. Well printed, ample portions, and very tasty indeed. We will return as soon as we can. What a find .

We celebrated my husband’s birthday last Sunday for a Roast lunch. Food (as always here) was superb, a delicious roast, beautifully presented with a lovely selection of veg, nice Romanian wine - it’s nice to see different options here for wine. Erica was charming and cheerful - we had great service from her. We’ve been coming here for decades and the food gets better and better. A local favourite place and are always excited to attend. Their Pizzas are also better than “the best in London” restaurant in Chiswick in my opinion and service is cheerful rather than indifferent!

Nial was the best but Erica what above and beyond hospitality was great and the atmosphere was a vibe especially on a Friday night will definitely recommend

Impeccable Sunday roast, our new absolute go to now on. All the individual food items were unique in flavour and gravy not rationed! Phils acoustic songs make it also of a Sunday afternoon. Attentive service by all staff and lovely ambience.
