The hotel was just average I was here for a football match so it was very convenient but there was no hot water tap in our room also I was drinking my own alcohol and when I asked the manager for ice she said they was catering for a wedding party so was limited on me having ice in other words no you can’t have any ice I mean come on it’s only ice eventually she gave me a few pieces in a glass also my partner wanted to use the toilet downstairs where the wedding party was saves going all back up 2 flights of stairs back to our room and the waitress said she would have to ask the manager if we could use the toilet which seemed like we was back at school asking for permission it was a joke there to be fair would never stay there again you have to cater for paying guests as well as wedding parties I think the manager needs some training on how to treat people

Second time of staying for a visit to Nantwich blues festival. Hotel is super convenient for railway station. Rooms are basic, but had brew facilities and shower was good. The hotel is dated but it is clean. staff are friendly. Breakfast is large and fills you up for the day. Only down side is the tea and coffee at breakfast wasn't nice. Great stay for a night or so.

Unfortunately our planned trip to Crewe and subsequent accommodation had to be cancelled due to that darn virus. On notificatio of our cancellation the hotel promptly and without any drama refunded the deposit. We are looking forward to being able to travel again and get to stay.

I selected this hotel as it was within walking distance of the train station and football club. My room was satisfactory for the £58 B&B i had paid. Bed was comfy with fresh linen and i had a good nights sleep. I had a small TV and kettle with tea and coffee provided. En- suit was ok but needs updating, sealant around the hand basin and window needs replacing and the shower was small and shower head partially blocked. Clean towels and toiletries were provided. If it were my bedroom i would re decorate, it just needs a modern colour scheme. wouldn't cost much or take to much time. Breakfast was served in a nice function area with a selection of fruit, cereal and full English. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nothing drastically wrong with this hotel.

This family run hotel is only a short distance from the railway station and is convenient for the town centre. The cooked breakfast was generous and the poached eggs were cooked perfectly. Dinner is only provided Monday to Thursday, presumably catering for business people. However, there is a good variety of eating places in the vicinity should you stay at the weekend.

Stayed twice at this hotel for leisure stay. First time room fab and generally what you would expect of this type of hotel. You couldn't fault the location. Within walking distance of Crewe centre, and even within the vicinity of the hotel there are lots of venues for eating and drinking. Breakfast fab. Second time we stayed the room seemed tired. However still more pluses than minuses for the hotel. Have rated as average mainly due to my most recent stay, and the room we were given.

Room was okay. Disrespectful staff, we could smell another guest obviously smoking cannabis. When we told a member of staff she totally disregarded our concern and told us to return to our room with our small child. A truly awful stay with horrible staff!

We spent two nights here 4-6 Nov. Very comfortable bed, pleasant room and extremely pleasant and welcoming staff. This was our second stay here and won't be our last. Convenient for the railway station and the breakfast is astonishing considering the very reasonable rate.

We stayed at the Waverley Hotel (4 adults) in the self catering apartment. It had two bed rooms, and a shower room upstairs and lounge, kitchen and guest loo downstairs. The rooms were a reasonable size, beds very comfortable and adequate storage space was available. The lounge had a flat screen tv and plush leather sofa and chairs. The kitchen was fully equiped with crockery and cutlery as well as a small fridge and microwave. The best part of it all was that for a reasonable rate of 99 pound for the entire apartment we got a huge cooked breakfast the next morning! The staff was friendly and accommodating and the place was spotless! Well done!

I went to the Waverly Hotel for our Sunday Lunch, with three of my friends on the 23/9/2015 To say it was bad would be to put it mildly, the roast potatoes looked ilke jacket potatoes that had been put in a fire to cook, ,some of the the boiled potatoes hard One of my frends ordered the roast pork , when he recieved it it looked like the dropping off the chopping had been piled onto his plate. The meal was bad enough, but when we complained to the waitress ,she shrugged her shoulders and walked away, When we got back home I wrote a letter to the manager to complain, that was over three weeks ago,I still have not had a reply. that is is not only business but bad manners B Cherrington

I have not stayed at this hotel but have had several good Sunday lunches. The food is typically English with a good Sunday lunch at a very reasonable price. All the food is well prepared, don't expect artistically arranged dishes you get the meat you asked for cooked as you get at home ( if your wife is a very good cook ) usually with a Yorkshire pudding and a variety of vegetables served separately. You have a choice of 1,2 or three courses with three prices depending on the number of courses chosen. If you like good home type cooking this is the place to be. However there are no children's menus they get the same selection but smaller portions. The service is good and very friendly

The Waverley is like an institution in Crewe; and the food is very good value indeed, and quite reasonable in quality; I would definitely use it when I have some time at the station in Crewe. A good spot for salespeople too.

We visited here on a Thursday evening which was lucky as they don't serve evening meals from Friday to Sunday. This is primarily a hotel for contract workers I believe so don't go expecting The Ritz. However if you want a good value English meal then give it a go.We had mains + desserts + 2 drinks all for under 20 quid.Couldn't really find fault with anything at that price.Well cooked good and pleasant service. We may well return for sunday lunch sometime as the reviews are excellent

The Yellow Broom is best described as a blend of pure elegance with a splash of sophistication. The setting is undeniably beautiful, complemented by a warm welcome from the staff, who are clearly well-trained in delivering exceptional silver service. The menu offers a well-balanced selection of cuisine, ensuring there's something to delight every palate. The presentation of the dishes was nothing short of exquisite, and the flavors were simply delightful. The staff were remarkably attentive without being intrusive, striking the perfect balance between friendliness and professionalism. The atmosphere and layout of the restaurant were both appealing and comfortable, enhancing the overall dining experience. The Yellow Broom is a truly first-class establishment that consistently maintains high standards. I highly recommend a visit—you will not be disappointed.

Really good, freshly-cooked pub food. Decent beers, friendly service and reasonable prices. Lovely old-school, generous puddings too. The menu choice is limited but if that ensures everything is fresh and of a high quality then that's fine by us. Had a great evening meal here with the family and would certainly visit again.
