A great place for lunch if you have the patience of a saint. Extremely slow and complicated ordering system, even opening the over-priced bottle of pop took for ever. On the other hand, food arrived quickly and was very nice.

Very slow service , not enough staff and those that were there hadn't got a hurry up between them. Two bacon sandwiches cost £10 extortionate and the bacon was dry as old leather

We live local and often pop in for a cuppa and a snack. Never had a problem with the food here it’s always been fresh and fairly quickly coming out of the kitchen. The only downside is that the ordering system does need to change slightly. If there’s more than four people in the queue it’s best to go somewhere else as you can genuinely wait for up-to 15 to 20 minute wait to get served. But other than that a great place for a cuppa and a slice of cake ….or even a cheeky breakfast.

Went here with a female friend just for a quick catch up plus I hadn't been here for a while, had pot of tea and as I am Coeliac I was delighted to see they had a choice of gluten free cakes, they had ginger sandwich cake, chocolate fudge cake or scone, I had the ginger sandwich cake which was rather nice. The restaurant wasn't actually cooking food that day but only wanted tea and cake anyway.

Long queue at order point and service very very slow. I asked for 2 items both of which they had run out of but was still on the menu board. Would definitely not recommend the pie of the day which my partner had. I had a sandwich which was freshly made with good ham and cheese. Although not expensive, I was very disappointed with the overall experience. I would like to think that we were there on a bad day, overall the café was busy.

Been before and was ridiculously slow so hasn’t been, but as was staying in hotel alone for work thought I’d try again, still appalling service, took 5 minutes for someone to come and even sit me down. waited over 40 minutes before paying for my drink and leaving, there was no more than 4 tables in the whole pub. When telling them they had didn’t have a word say about it. Poor management and poor staff. Need a serious overhaul.

51 Bridge StreetCANNOT RECOMMEND BIJOU ENOUGH!!!! Me and my mum did the ultimate bottomless brunch on Friday night before meeting my uncle there for drinks and to listen to the live singer and it was amazing!!! The food was lovely, the drinks were nice and strong and kept coming very quickly and our servers Ash and especially KEISHA were the absolute best!! Service was absolutely amazing and we will definitely be back!!

11-12 Orton ParkwayGood basic food and drinks inside QD stores, in Orton centre. There is nothing fancy and the food is definitely not to go out of your way for, but it is good basic food, at reasonable prices.

41 Long CausewayGood coffee next to the cathedral but a bit on the large side. Atmosphere wasn’t great considering the history that the building it is in holds. Shortbread was good.
