Starbucks Peterborough Cathedral in Peterborough

Good coffee next to the cathedral but a bit on the large side. Atmosphere wasn’t great considering the history that the building it is in holds. Shortbread was good.

No real atmosphere, very dark. Coffee standard expected Please do not use the toilet unless you ensure you both keys to unlock it,I had one and the same staff gave a man another key who unlocked it while I ( a female) was in it! I did complain but staff member didn't seem to care,she just said" there are 2 keys"!!

Does google maps delete places that you have been. Stopped here a few times.

The delivery driver didn’t come to the door her made me go to his car to collect my food

I usually like starbuks , we got 2 caramel frapuchino and they tasted disgusting we couldn’t drink them so we threw them . 10£ for disgusting coffee no thanks. McDonalds caramel late is better and much more cheaper and tastier

I went to this store on Monday this week. The staff were absolutely lovely and very friendly, ordered 2 cold drinks that tasted incredible!! Would reccomend to anyone!!

I’ve been to multiple Starbucks regularly, and never have I ever been to one this bad. The staff weren’t very nice, and it seemed like the didn’t want to serve either. I ordered three drinks, A latte, a Frappuccino and an iced white mocha, The latte and the mocha were horrid, but the Frappuccino is drinkable.I suppose the location of the Starbucks is quite interesting. Overall wouldn’t recommend

It would be good if you could have a drink and use the out of order toilets

I came in this afternoon and the guy who always wears the hat made my drink again, second time he has and both times the drink is so bad 😔 I wouldn't care if the drink wasn't so expensive but to spend £6 on a drink that tastes bad when everyone else makes it well is pointless so if you are reading this can you stop rushing the drink for no reason the place wasnt even busy and if you start measuring things properly it might help

The coffee was lovely as expected (if a little on the cool side) and the service was fine but the cafe itself is so underwhelming. The building is lovely and the inside could be so full of character but it's just depressing - a bit like a 90s work cafeteria! Wouldn't eat in again. On a side note - I went in for lunch but there wasn't a single sandwich available (apart from the tuna) that didn't have mustard in it. I can't be the only person in the country who doesn't like mustard with everything, can I? Settled for a piece of cake which was, admittedly, delicious, but a big thumbs down for Starbucks range of savouries 😕

This delivery driver can’t work this job, because my order comes to late and everything cold

The only complaint I have is that the bag needs to be doubled on the iced coffee drinks. The condensation causes the cup holder to go soggy and then the bag, luckily the courier told me to take the bag from the bottom otherwise the drink would of fallen through onto the floor.

Due to the drink being delivered 45 minutes late, the iced coffee arrived looking like a brown slush puppy. £12 for a drink and delivery just to be wasted

Polite staff and good service. Unusual setting in an ex bank but with the downside that there isn’t a large amount of seating you normally expect and it’s long and thin. You need to ask for a key to the toilet. Usual quality expected from Starbucks, only loses a star due to the shape and atmosphere of the building.

Always love ordering from here! Never any issues and everyone is nice.

Came in for an Americano and Peach Iced Tea, unfortunately they didn’t have what was required to make the Peach Iced Tea. Until the lovely Rachel made it from scratch, honestly was blown away by the effort and it was just as good as what is normally served. Thank you to the team and especially Rachel for going the extra mile as always for their customers.

After going cafe Nero will never be wasting my money on Starbucks. For the prices you pay quality is not good enough.

I asked for 2 red velvet loaf cake & 2 caramel loaf cake,I received 4 caramel loaf cake instead not happy & rang store no answer

Went in this morning for a strawberry refresha. First, I was ignored for a few minutes by the staff who was happily chatting about, while I was stood by the till, hanging like a lemon. After some sort of acknowledgement, I was told there is no strawberries and they can do the drink without. I've asked what the price will be then, as it is not the same drink. I was then told with an eye roll that they are just to "float around" to which I said it isn't true, as I do eat them and as far as I'm concerned I'm not the only one. Might sound silly, but I like them berries. Anyways, the other staff member kept convincing me they are for decoration. The guy on the till, visiblaly annoyed by my presence, and in a quiet rude and mocking manner kept saying "it is the same price, it is the same drinks basically". Well, basically it is not. Never have I ever had such an experience with such a rude staff. I suppose 8 a.m. was rather early for them to deal with customers "demands". I have been a restaurant manager for many years and would never even think to treat a customer in such a way. I felt so embarrassed by the way I was spoken to that I just walked away. I am a regular in this branch but I don't think I'll be returning any time soon since the way I was treated today.

It's OK, a bit small. There is a customer toilet but you need to ask for key & it's filthy so try to hold on if you can.

Nice place to be. Never any trouble. Staff are variable. One or two seem quite sullen, but the rest are very friendly and approachable.

Very Disappointed. Service was passable. Wait was terrible. After collection of my Iced weak coffee! Had then another 10 minute wait for a simple tea. Perhaps if you weren't chatting amongst yourselves. You could get two orders out together. Thanks for the long wait in a dirty establishment.

Everything OK,except from that hot sandwich was in the same bag where the pumpkin loaf was and loaf was melted completely.

The staff are always a joy to see, never feel unwelcome when I’m in. Drinks are always delicious and served in good time.

Took so long to take orders and serve . Attendants were busy chatting and the queue kept growing . Chai latte was horrid with way too much syrup . I was at the Peterborough Cathedral square branch on Tuesday 26/09:23 . Ruined my fav chai latte had to toss it.

It is a lovely place to have some coffee and sit outside see the Peterborough however that Asian staff is totally rude and ridiculous! I would not have coffee in this site again! Totally absurd! Really hope Starbucks improve their service!

Never turned up. Marked as delivered but wasn’t.

Our drinks turned up spilt all in the bag because the restaurant didn’t seal the lids properly. Wasn’t the drivers fault at all. Picked the bag up from the driver and the bag split and drinks went everywhere.

They didn't read my order completely before making my drink. I specifically customized my drink to be completely dairy free as I am lactose, they made my drink with cow's milk and added whipped cream after I explicitly said I couldn't have dairy and ordered my drink with almond milk and no whipped cream. Need to do better in the catering industry.

Friendly staff who know their work and do it well. Sometimes, it can appear a bit dishevelled so some extra table clearance, etc could improve this however pretty good overall

Lady behind tills was nice. The place was quite for 15:30pm but the place is not the cleanest. Only one toilet which is very unclean. Toilets need refurb!

the coffee tasted like someone dumped caramel into warm milk put ice in and a tiny bit of coffee it was nasty

Staff needs to be aware not just to hand spoon or fork on this table without wrapping it on tissue or placing on a plate. It’s unsanitary and a lot people has been placing their hands on it. We’ve stayed for 30 minutes and none of the staff has wiped it.

Had a small problem with my drink and it was resolved straight away. Thank you Ricky. The other member of staff who gave me a little warm water for my drink, I appreciate that too!

Driver did not know where to go,. He rang me and I stood at my gate on pathway,. Driver was further up the road and could not find me for about 5-10 minutes

Usual Starbucks experience, queues can be quite long at peak times.

Always a treat coming to Starbucks. They're very quick, considering how many orders I imagine they get! My order arrived fifteen minutes early and it was also lovely. Would recommend

We ordered vanilla cream frapuccino and received it with almond syrup. £10 for something no one will drink. Not happy about it.

Very friendly staff. That's why they didn't get one star. Cash not accepted. Its february 2023, not like we're in the grip of covid anymore. Plus the coffee is still pretty poor compared to other coffee shops on the High Street.

The service is great. My coffee was as I expected. Once I had to change my order and the barista was so patient.

I did not get my order. No one delivered to me. I've been in my flat all this time waiting.

Driver was awesome! But my order was wrong so not drivers fault. Ordered 1 hot coffee and al1 iced coffee but got 2 iced? Not the end of the world, just disappointing. 🙃

I love the cathedral Starbucks in peterborough. Always so polite and welcoming when you go in store, and whenever ordering online if there’s a problem they are always happy to fit it, I ordered a Xmas tree brownie none was available though so they replaced it with the trio of faves which I’m grateful for, and left a note to say why ☺️ thanks guys always a pleasure! Brilliant coffee🥰

I came to order a latte and a hot chocolate for my son We stayed inside,and that what we got was terrible, we paid nearly £10 and got absolutely disgusting looking drinks. it's been served in take away cups ,we ordered with cream on it, and we had a lids on! When a lady called my name I told her that I ordered with a cream on , she replied that there is cream with it. it was absolutely terrible for that price I expected to have a drink with normal cups that's why we stayed in! Won't back again , it wasn't worth money at all . They are charging a lit of money so you can expect high quality drinks but not at all.

The three young ladies this morning have really made my day. They have restored my faith in humanity. My new favorite Starbucks. Thanks ladies for bringing a smile to my face after a terrible start to the day.

No drinks were labelled needed to spend 15 minutes taste testing. To find half filled drinks and messy presentation. Will be ordering from a different Starbucks from now on or even costa

Great service and super speedy, went midday Saturday to get a drink to go and there was a massive que and I was in and out in like 10 minutes. I'm hooked on thier cold brew and hibiscus iced tea 👍 Update: still super great service and staff are friendly and helpful.

Ordered a chai latte and cafe latte. 1 x croissant and 1 x hickory cheese sandwich. Only one drink was delivered. Poor hubby doesn't have a coffee now :(

Ordered a iced americano blonde roast no milk. A white mocha blonde and a cookies frap with no cream. The only correct thing was the cookies and cream. My white mocha was a regular mocha. My americano has milk in it, but doesn't say what kind so has to be binned. I've sent info to just eat and they asked for photographs. Tried phoning the store repeatedly but no answer.

Gone down hill since the refurd and new members of staff have joined. Takes about 20 minutes to get your drink which isn't always made correctly - the staff seem more interested in joking around and having inappropriate conversations. It's a shame as I love a starbucks, but I do not like going here anymore.

Always amazing this place, I usually come in every day. Never had an issue with this store.

Arrived 5 hours after I ordered and missing an item. The sensible thing for them to do would have been to cancel an order they knew that could not fulfil. I couldn’t find anywhere to cancel this myself. No way of contacting restaurant as they do not pick up the phone.

Rachael and Evie provided excellent disco music and beautiful coffees with superstar service!

So grateful to the supervisor and her team for being generous to help me with my schools charitable activities. Appreciated the kindness and service received! Thank you Elina!

It's a coffee shop that sells coffee what more do you want 😂 oh you want a snack too well they have them too. I can recommend the beyond meat breakfast bap if you didn't know it was vegetable based you would think it was meat, very tasty 😋

Paper cups only. Staff seemed to be making drinks in a random order, as opposed to who was first in the queue. Then mumbled names of orders so drinks sat there unclaimed, only to remake the drinks, making the queue even longer. 30 mins plus for 5 drinks. But they were nice, when they arrived.

Fab! My favourite Starbucks restaurant.

The refurbishment makes the whole place seem so much bigger, and the tables are much easier to use (personal opinion!) I came in for a pumpkin spice, didn’t disappoint. The drink is really well made, staff are lovely, ambience is very chill. Wish they had more options for sweet vegans, but there’s lots of savoury.
