Door security wouldn't let us on to get a drink due to a band being on. What did you think I was trying to sneak in and see a band. No... me and my mate just needed a pint.

Great location & lots of space outside, very welcoming and knowledgable staff in terms of allergens etc (also lots of allergen friendly / vegan options on the menu). Really dog - friendly too, ours were spoiled there today!

We recently was on holiday and went into the Waterfront and had a amazing meal. It was that nice we went a further three times during our stay. Each time the food and service was amazing. All the staff were polite and friendly. I found the prices very reasonable and portion sizes were brilliant. I highly recommend the Waterfront. I recommend the Bhajis bits even the small portion is a perfect size.

Have been coming back here for the last 9 years My only complaint is it can get very busy so best to book a table if eat

If you’re looking for fast eats , something simple but with a twist , then this is the place for you , a little over priced for a hotdog with a little chilli on it £8 but alas , it tastes ok .. have nothing bad to say … for me a little expensive for what it is .. friendly staff , nice peeps , good atmosphere

Food was not to my personal liking, but would be fine if you like cheesy chips and everything soaked in sauce and don't mind meals with lots of calories. Nice staff and they serve the fabulous Verdant Beer here so that's great.

Great place to go for food with lovely dinners at are reasonable price! Used to be a fancy fine dining location back in the day and I do miss that aesthetic, as it is now looks brilliant and far from what it was but completely different atmosphere.

Gorgeous place in a beautiful location just near the beach serves all your nice summer drinks and lovely food at such a reasonable price ! The waiter who served us was so polite and made me a beautiful berry gin. Children and dog welcome in the lovely outdoor area they had sun was beautiful and going down just had that holiday relaxing feel to it. Menus are brilliant specially for snack type food ! We will hundred percent be back again as Perranporth is one of our favourite towns in Cornwall! Thank you the waterfront !

Fantastic place for all round. We're locals but don't really go there as always busy because on the beach and packed out but we did on this occasion and we loved the place. Will defo be visiting again soon. I recommend veggie chilly fries. Just out of his world.

The restaurant is well decorated and beautiful at night with all of the lights in the garden. There could be more seating as it’s quite a small location. The staff are super friendly. We loved our visit here.

Family of 5 turn up late on a Friday night with no booking was very busy. Still managed to find us a table within the waiting time they said.the food choices for all different dite needs and when the food came it was amazing so tasty and the portions size was so big. Amazing price would definitely be coming back here again. My kids even eat the salad and loved it more than chicken nuggets😂

A great little bar. The food is amazing, the chilli fries were amazing, and my wife recommends the wings. The decor is cool, and they have some free play areas for kids. Great drinks selection and very cheap compared to other restaurants and bars in the area.

Always make a point of visiting here for the wings of mass destruction. 10 this time and definitely found my limit . Lovely place and nice staff.

Great pub and food on the sea front and with friendly staff that help the local community with charitable acts, When we ordered , we sat outside, but due to the breeze, they let us swap tables to seat inside. I highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Delicious hullumi burger. Bread was soft, and the hullumi was perfectly cooked. They also have a great kids menu catering for different diets.

BBQ mac and cheese was brilliant. Caesar wedge salads on point. Kids loved their mac and cheese as well. Easy peasy atmosphere for families. A premier beachfront restaurant.

Great little seaside food spot. They were so accommodating for our family. Just know the fries come in two portion sizes. The full size could easily feed three people maybe even four. I told them the Korean version could have been spicier but was informed the English don’t like spice. Everyone was so friendly and it generally has a very upbeat and cheery vibe.

Ordered American hotdog, expecting an American hotdog was served cheap hotdog which would have come from a tin of eight that cost around £1 not at all impressed.

What a cracking place. Small menu but what they do, oh my days do they do well. My burger was probably one of the best I've ever had. And who ever thought that dirty fries with curry sauce and bhaji bits would be as awesome as they were. Lovely chilled out staff and a really nice friendly vibe in the place. Def will go back there again. Loved it.

Just popped in for a quick drink..decided to pop in a few more times during our week away.. the big bonus was a great gluten free menu. Totally unexpected gem of a place.

Came here after a day on the beach we was originally coming for drinks but decided to have food which I'm glad we did. The food was lovely and cheap the staff was friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend.

Top service with beautiful food to boot!! I had a chicken and chorizo burger and a side of fries. My husband had whitebait on chips with a ranch sauce. Both equally delicious and good portions. Food was hot drinks were cold and the service was very welcoming. Atmosphere and decor great. Stop by if you are in there area. A big thumbs up.

Superb food served here that is slightly different from the normal. Top quality staff. Highly recommended

Lovely friendly staff. Food is lovely, and they cater for vegans, which is a plus for me! You get LOADS on the loaded chips, so if you're really hungry, you'll be highly satisfied with a large portion. The atmosphere is lively, which is nice. It's quite popular, so if you're going in high season, you're better booking a table.

Friendly, welcoming, comfortable, yummy food, great service! Family of 3 plus a dog!! Nothing was too much trouble, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. Highly recommend The Waterfront Restaurant - we went for coffee and cake on our last morning and sat in the garden; again, all the above applied. Wish we'd discovered it sooner. Amazing food, brilliant staff would highly recommend a visit. Don't get the large loaded fries if you don't have a massive appetite or a competitive eater 😏. Loved the burgers..

Lovely spot to eat or drink outside when the weather's nice

Went in this place a few years ago food was great. Went again this year ordered a hot dog same as last year it was a rip off got the tiniest little frankfurter I'd ever seen. It seems like they got people in a few years ago with half decent food and now decided to rip them off.

We’ve been to Perranporth 3 times and gutted we only just discovered this place. Fantastic food, very friendly and dog friendly too. Loved the halloumi burger

We were recently down visiting family in Perranporth and on the last night, we decided to eat here. It was a great little place. It was completely surf themed. Surfboards on the ceiling which looked like they were covered in ironing board covers, posters of “classic” surf movies on the walls and an all round surfer dude vibe about the place. The food was really tasty. Between the 8 of us, we had quite a bit from the main sections off the menu. My partner and I had a large portion of the Loaded Fries each. I had the Chicken Katsu loaded fries and I think my eyes were bigger than my belly and I could have easily managed the standard portion. The loaded fries were outstanding by the way!! In addition to the food, the staff were really nice and friendly. Our waitress was really lovely. She even had a bit of a voice on her. Singing as she went about the place. I would definitely eat here the next time we’re back in Perranporth and I’d take on the large portion of loaded fries again. I will just skip coffee and cake for lunch and eating them fully this time should be a doddle.

The Mac and cheese was extortionly poor. I went for the chorizo mc and cheese and it was just plain Mac and cheese with raw chorizos on the top

Superb Gin bar with Draught beers available. On the door step to the beach with the best beer garden in town. This is the go too for locals so says a lot. Staff are super friendly and accommodating

Absolutely brilliant place great food and service We also had the pleasure of the use of the gazebo for our wedding vows renewal. Staff so friendly and accommodating

They have blue walls now, and it’s much better. Lovely people, pet friendly, nice food and drinks, just near the beach. I would go again for sure 👍🏻

Fantastic food and great selection of veggie food too

We came here in Sept 2023 on holiday. We ate here every night was lovely atmosphere and food and service. We came back tonight with more family on holiday April 2024 for Easter holidays and was the same great service, food and atmosphere. They didn't have the drink my husband wanted but made an effort to go and get what he wanted. Much appreciated. The only bad thing we can say was the weather. Well done on your business. Amazing. Will recommend to anyone.

Food is so much better than it needs to be. Best burgers and chilli in Cornwall.

The wife and I were pleasantly surprised with the quality of our food and portion sizes, the food was presented well, the food was perfectly heated and really tasty. The staff were very friendly and most helpful. We will definitely be coming back, well done and thank you.

Visit Perranporth quite often and always visit the Waterfront. Always a warm and friendly greeting from the family run business. Good selection of good food on the menu for all tastes and great value for money and generous portions. I'm hooked on the burgers which are freshly made to order, not frozen and full of flavour. Evening time is a great atmosphere with background music and the occasional live singer. Had a great week this time with amazing hot weather which made it more enjoyable to sit in the garden eating lunch. Highly recommended 👌 👍

Cracking bar and restaurant, food spot on ,even my daughter ate and she is the a nightmare for eating out . Cracking staff upbeat and polite ,lovely atmosphere, will definitely be seeing you plenty o times ,next August when we down 👍

Burgers are really good with a nice charcoal taste to them! Was a little let down by the nachos, nearly £7 for a bowl of cheap tortilla chips, the tiniest bit of cheese, hardly any jalapeños on them and 3 very small dips of salsa, sour cream and guacamole. Such a shame as the burger was so tasty… really need to up their game on the nachos.

Great atmosphere, live music on selected nights, I went for the chicken burger again but this year no mango sauce this year it had a Korean BBQ dressing. I was booked into the Senner's arms but I only wanted to buy a meal not shares in there company so I changed my mind and what a great decision that was. Must have saved £100 on drinks and food.

We stopped here for food and came back for drinks a couple of nights later. There was a long wait for food but they were very upfront about that. The burgers were really nice. Loads of choice of drinks behind the bar. Very easy going vibe. The choice in spirits made you feel like a kid in a sweet shop. Tried the banana peel rum and an interesting drink called Aloha, which had chilli and ginger notes. Staff were helpful in offering what type of mixer would go well. I think I could happily return and make my way through the choice of interesting and varied drinks available.

Only visited the waterfront twice now, but both times the food was awesome, the staff were warm and friendly, and the atmosphere also amazing. Would highly recommend.

A great cafe/restaurant right by the beach in Perranporth with super friendly staff. We arrived without booking with our two dogs who were offered a treat on arrival and where given lots of fuss from the team! Yummy homemade burgers were just the ticket, luxury hot chocolate a must - just a relaxed, friendly happy place for an easy and affordable bite to eat.

Clean and spacious outdoor area, with a few distractions for young children at back. Very dog friendly. Children's options. Good sized portions and average price - especially so close to beach, although no view. Food a bit hit and miss for our party. The barbecue sauce tasted like washing up liquid and the white cheese on the chips was indistinguishable. The vegan chilli hot dog came with a spicy soya 'chilli' sauce. It was ok but nothing to rave about and soya mince isn't for everyone. No vegetables in it, just small soya lumps. Not sure about having the two together. No cheese to accompany it either - made it a bit of a let down. However, the 'sausage' was tasty. Good range of beverages and drinks and service very quick and friendly. Just need to tweak their veggie/vegan options. Would go again if they did.

Had a fabulous lunch here today. The chicken wings were amazing, as were the burgers and Mac ‘n’ cheese. Portions are large, and every single member of staff said hello, service was great, and the overall vibe was relaxed and friendly. Definitely a great spot for families to eat… even the dog loved it 🐶

Very nice place to eat near the beach, food was delicious and didn't have to want long for it. Service was kind and helpful. Great place to have a meal with family or a beer with some friends. :)

We stopped here for some food and rest after a long day at the beach... lovely staff.. loads of selection on the spirits! We found some seating straight away although this place gets really busy. The FOOD WAS UNREAL! we did have a problem where we paid and ordered but the order wasnt cashed to the kitchen so they forgot our food however we just went to the bar mentoined we had been waiting a while and a lovely lady came out and apologised, they offered a free drink on the house of our choice and we had our food within 10-15mins and it was completely worth the wait. We would 100percent come back here again when visiting just for the loaded fries alone! Yummmm! Thanks so much

We popped in late evening for a few drinks. The bar staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had a selection of cocktails, beers and non alcoholic drinks (great selection for non drinker) we would return again.

Great location to sit and watch the waves and surfer's

Years ago this place was a lovely family restaurant. We popped in to check it out when we first arrived in perranporth, fully expecting it to still be so, but it’s now mostly a busy bar ( with very few staff) - nice to sit outside and have a drink and a car snack. We didn’t eat there so can comment on quality of food. We had to ask for a table to be cleared outside so we could sit and have a drink- the young lad came as quickly as he could and took just half the stuff away. I suspect because he had to go back to serving. Such a shame for a central location.

Stopped here for lunch, ordered the New York burger, fries and coleslaw and my friend ordered Nachos and fries. The portions were huge! Very tasty, service was great, not rushed, even though it started to rain so everybody came inside to where we were sitting! Definitely worth a visit!

Now this place is just amazing. Been coming to Perranporth for a few years now and only just started using the Waterfront over a year ago after being disappointed with expensive and very mediocre and poor food from the so called pub on the beach!!! The welcome in the Waterfront is amazing and soon became friends with the owners John and Isabelle and their family. Tried many items from the menu which is freshly cooked by John and crew so there is a small wait time but it’s worth it and to be expected. Food is delicious, full of flavour and ample for any appetite. Dirty fries are amazing but this year I was hooked on Johns fresh hand made burgers which are superb. Ate a good few in the Waterfront and when on the beach, it was always a takeaway of freshly made cheeseburger and chicken burger. Had many a good evening session when food service had stopped and a great chat and catch up with John at the bar. The outside eating area is also a great option to eat outside with ample seating. Dogs are also made welcome and plenty of water bowls are available for the dogs to cools down. At the bottom of the garden is a play area for children with toys supplied by John and Isabelle. All in all this to me is the best family eatery in Perranporth where the food is great, the prices are very acceptable with the best hospitality I’ve ever encountered. Highly recommended and will be seeing them again in September 10/10

Great atmosphere dog friendly pub just off the beach, always pop in for a bite to eat and a few drinks after a good full day on the beach! Had the Chorizo Bravas loaded chips this time and they did not disappoint! Great selection of draught and bottled spirit drinks!
