Nice little cafe. Takeaway bakery on one side, sit-down cafe on other. Coffee & cake at the window while watching the Camborne world pass by.

This is not easy to write since I like Wilson's and have been in many times. But yesterday was dumbfounding. £23 for 2 meals of chips, bacon and egg, a cup of tea and a coke. But not only was the price shocking to me, it wasn't even hot. It was luke warm at best. Service is always great, but atmosphere yesterday... staff had friends in , chatting etc at their table and so, so incredibly loud. The man laughing was so loud. So loud. This won't stop me from going in again, and if it's better on my next visit, I'll change this review.

It's hard to find an everyday dining establishment that serves both decent tasting and well cooked food with good hot drinks too. Also, prompt service, nice portions and reasonable prices.

A real shame. I paid 25 quid for one greasy breakfast, scambled egg on toast and 2 cups of unpleasant coffee. 13 quid for a fry up in the middle of camborne is far too expensive.

I don’t even know where to start. £10+ for a cheap steak pie and watery gravy and half decent cheap chips had I not been hungry I’d of sent it back. Not only that but the toilet facility was beyond dire with a floater left for all to see and a hand dryer that didn’t work with no paper towels to dry with either. Overall I have no idea how a place like that’s still open. Sorry to leave a bad review but jeez worst cafe I’ve been too. Customer service wasn’t bad tho but still 👎🏻

A great little café with a good range of dishes on the menu, whether you are looking for a simple snack or a good well cooked meal. We normally go in for lunch and then pick up a baguette or a sandwich for a snack later on. We have always had good, well presented and well cooked meals no matter what we have ordered. The staff are wonderful, friendly and efficient.

Had one of the best omelettes I have ever had here! The lovely lady who cooked it did it just as I asked, very lightly done & it was perfect 💕 Very friendly & welcoming staff.

So disappointed with the breakfast, sauauages were awful & mushy. Order was wrong, wouldn't come back again, wasn't worth the price what we paid.

Fresh cheese and ham roll made right in front of me and tasted really nice, also a good value for money! Also they sell a small selection of snacks at bargain prices and I've heard their fried breakfast is out of this world, also has a nice seating area as well.

This is the friendliest and most welcoming cafe I’ve been to whilst on a holiday ! Family run by Tanya & Shaun with delicious home cooked food and a great choice . I particularly enjoyed their Veggie sausages. They were so accommodating, we went back 3 times in one week ! Also a must try is Tanya’s homemade Peanut butter Flapjack…!! And as for dogs being welcome , bring it on! There’s nothing makes me happier than being able to bring your fur baby with you for a coffee. Everyone is welcome at Wilson’s ! Delicious and good quality cooked breakfast. I've tried many breakfasts that were a lot more expensive than this and pound for pound this is the best I've had. Quality ingredients, nice surroundings and lovely people.

Wilson’s is literally the best cafe in camborne for takeaway food. Their cakes are amazing and we love to go for breakfast there too. Always disappointed when we don’t get to the shop before the cakes go!

Wilsons is a nice friendly cafe with tasty coffee and cakes. Quick service if you are in a hurry too. The only downside is the big extra if you want to eat in there is a surcharge on cakes etc that I think is a little steep. Staff got a little snappy when I asked about the extra!

On the last morning of our stay in Camborne we called in for a coffee. The waitress was friendly, and the coffee good. We also bought some tasty cakes (including gluten free) from the shop.

I am a 8 months pregnant and was with my pregnant friend we asked to use the toilet before we were going to buy a coffee the women refused and then told me to take it up with the council. I found them extremely rude and we then left. Would not recommend.

Taken here for a treat while waiting for the shoppers to finish their tour. A fantastic selection of cakes and treats to well with a drink. The coffee was spot on, so many places just can't make a good coffee. Hot food selection was very tempting and looked really good. The special offers were a quaint added bonus.

A regret I have in moving away from Cambourne, missing at at our visits to Wilson Caffè, for their superb breakfasts, my favourite is the ten items with bacon to die for. However the drive from Truro to Camborne yesterday was worth it thanks to Wilson Caffè yummy breakfast and coffee. Many thanks to all there.

This is by far the best shop and cafe for baps, sausage rolls and scrumptious cakes in the whole of Cornwall. The customer service is first class. If you visit Camborne make sure you eat something from here!

wilson's in cambourne is great very friendly staff who remembered us from last year. the food is cooked to order and is cooked to perfection and the prices are very reasonable definitely recommend this place

By far the very best homemade cakes I’ve ever had !! The lady on the till that’s always there is sooo lovely nothing is to much trouble ! The baggetes she makes are lush and the breakfast baps are huge and such a good price . We love this cafe and it’s absolutely spotless!!! Highly recommend

Aparecimos a Wilson para café y tarta y quedamos muy impresionados por esta pequeña cafetería encantadora. El ambiente era muy relajado y agradable, el personal y el servicio de primera clase y las tortas y café delicioso. La relación calidad-precio casa se sirve comida caliente a otros clientes también se veía muy apetecible y que todo el mundo estaba disfrutando de sus comidas. Si viviéramos más cerca, estoy seguro de que sería asiduos! Totalmente recomendado.

Whenever in Camborne we always pop in for breakfast or lunch and it never disappoints good honest home cooked meals great portions and served by lovely friendly staff and great value for money. Cant wait for the next visit.

my son and I ate here for the first time and we thought it was good honest home cooked food reasonably priced, they have plenty to chose from and the waitress was friendly and obliging, the café looked clean and the tables were quickly cleared as people left, the cakes looked tempting but unfortunately at the moment we're not allowed any but some time soon I'll have a slice or two, certainly will be back.

I have been getting my lunch from Wilsons for 15 years - mostly takeaway but sometimes when visitors are down we have the sit down meal. Great friendly place, and they know their customers very well. My wife once went to get my lunch for me, and when she picked a cake as a surprise treat was (correctly!) told "he won't like that, he will prefer this one"! Highly recommended!

As a regular customer I can affirm that the staff are always polite, friendly and attentive. Table service is prompt and nothing is too much trouble.There is a wide range of made-to-order sandwiches and hot meals but the scones are the best in Cornwall.The premises are clean and airy and tables are quickly cleared and cleaned..One of my favourite places. Wilson's Cafe is the perfect place to meet your friends for breakfast, lunch , or tea. The staff are very friendly and notice if you haven't been in for a while, which is perfect for the older regulars who live alone. I recommend the breakfast baps, and the baked goods are excellent. For lunch the footlong baguettes filled with pulled pork, turkey and cranberry, and many other choices, are great for the price and delicious.I would say to you, never eat alone, go to Wilson's.

I am writing this in response to incident last week where a customer made a scene over 1x roast potato!!!! a staff member offered chips or mash to go with the meal already served and this sparked a totally over the top response by the customer . the staff member kept her cool and eventually asked the customer to leave the café as the customer and her daughter were upsetting the other people in the café. more shouting and rudeness and then other customers began telling the pair to get out. I now see that this pair of women have written a bad report about the incident and it is totally untrue. I visit this café several times a week and have ALWAYS been greeted with a smile, good service and tasty food;

First off, I would like to add that I don't work in Wilson's Cafe, I am a long standing very happy customer who has never had a nothing but the happiest of times on all my visits. The staff are fun and helpful and love a good chat, more importantly, you get a good plate of food.I was most upset by the last comment as the staff don't have a chance to put their side across so I will. In no uncertain terms, the other patrons of the cafe were just as upset at the complainer because she was rude, loud and offensive- all over a roast potato!!!Wilsons isn't just a cafe, it's a place to relax, chat and make new friends as I have- please have a look at yourself before you complain about others. In all my time on local authorities and helping local businesses I never thought my mother and I would receive such a disgusting attitude as paying customers for poor service and poor quality of what they believe passes as a Roast Dinner for a hefty £7.49.My 83 year old mother dared to state that the roast potatoes as advertised on the cafe wall weren't roasted they were deep fried (sautéed) and hard and could she have mash instead. They offered chips with the Roast and told her to carry on eating and then brought them out 10 minutes later with no apologies and no reduction in price. My mum was verbally set upon by the older waitress who asked us to leave the premises lol as I then addressed her attitude to my motherDisgusting poor service deserves highlighting and gives Camborne a bad name

Brilliant staff were lovely and the food was fast and excellent, in a nice location, clean and tidy. Great for breakfast
