The Warwick Castle in City of London, Westminster

Absolutely wonderful and cozy pub in a gorgeous part of London. Just a few minutes walk away from Little Venice and the Regents canal. The food is great, fantastic atmosphere and lovely staff. We will definitely be back.

Used to be my local 15 years ago. Popped in tonight. As I remembered, excellent service. Bar staff polite and accommodating. Ale well Kept. One thing I missed from moving out the area. Will come back to see if the food was as good as I remember. Proper great quality london pub!

Unfortunately the worst roast I've ever had. This was the most dry and grey lamb, so disappointing and with children screaming and running around, trying to climb up our table chairs. I wish the staff had just been able to say something to the parents, but the staff themselves were so lovely. The vegan wellington looked nice, but tasted so bland...and the gravy...that was lumpy beatroot sauce so I don't know how that could be called an alternative to gravy. Overall so disappointing and unfortunately would never return for this food.

Cute little neighborhood pub! Very busy - great service & food was good. - The chicken Kiev with creamed leeks was nice as well as the burgers - great fries too!

We love visiting this pub when we’re back in London. The bar staff are friendly, the food is great and there’s always a really nice atmosphere.

Nice pub, good selection of beers available. Good food, if a little over priced but you get what you pay for. They let us stay beyond our allotted time.

The food is disgusting at this pub. The service is horrendous, and it has a very poor atmosphere.

I was hesitant to go for dinner as there are too many pubs with terrible food, but this was such a welcome surprise. Small cozy pub, everyone inside was friendly, food was excellent, service excellent and strong community vibes. Make sure to book a table in advance. We will be back!

Very friendly service, especially the owner, and good food, but unfortunately our table was parked right outside the ladies bathroom so my guest had to move every time it needed to be used! Quiz night so busy, I’m guessing this would not normally be the case.

Really great little pub. The burger was absolutely delicious, I'll definitely go back for it. Great selection of beers, ciders and other drinks too.

Set in the heart of beautiful Little Venice, this pub serves up some mean dishes. Definitely a must try if you are in the area and would like to dig into some hearty pub food.

Tantos lugares se han movido demasiado hacia la comida que este pub vende también, pero luego pierden la sensación de un pub. No aquí el rico ambiente vibrante era perfecto el viernes pasado.

Great place to meet with old chums. Anytime of year is good for a visit but with the fire blazing, a warm welcome from the staff & tasty food … you’ll very soon forget the gloom outside. Thank you all at Warwick Castle for creating such a genuine feel good atmosphere.

Another London trip and, as ever, made time to grab a couple of pints at our favourite pub - once again staff were lovely and we felt so welcomed. Thanks to all the team and the great manager for being so kind :-)

Mi esposa y yo pasábamos por el pub y decidimos pasar por un par de copas. Resultó que estaban encendiendo las luces del árbol de Navidad que fueron encendidas por su cliente del año, que nos pareció un buen toque. Había un gran ambiente y probablemente nos quedamos más tiempo de lo que deberíamos haber! Tuvimos una gran noche y nos hicieron sentir tan bienvenidos y lo recomendaría a todos.

Frances the manager and her team went out of their way to make our evening a success. Even though the pub was packed the food and service were spot on, and the fire created a lovely atmosphere. Our dog enjoyed it too!

We went as a group of four and explained that we were in a rush as we have a tight schedule as we have only an hour for lunch. They were surprisingly quick to serve us a plate of delicious Sea Bass with new potatoes, chorizo and spinach. It was our lucky day as the four of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We had time to share a dessert, pay and had ten minutes left to stroll back to the office. Thanks Warwick Castle we will be back. By the way the location is in a very quiet area of Little Vencie. A really charming little place. Thanks again

We met our daughter and her boyfriend for Sunday lunch. On arrival we were met warmly and shown to our table. I didn't ask the staffs names but they were excellent, very friendly and very professional. After sitting down we were asked about our drink order and the drinks were soon brought to our table Our food order was then taken and we all went for the roasts, 3x roast chicken and 1x roast beef. When the food arrived the portions were generous and we were soon tucking in. All I can say is that the food was made up of high quality ingredients and cooked to perfection. It was without a doubt the nicest roast beef I have ever tasted but the real star of the show was the roast potatoes, literally go for the beef stay for the roast potatoes. I don't think they're prepared and cooked in house, I believe angels prepare them then deliver them to the restaurant. They really are that good. I would kill for the recipe. We couldn't resist dessert and had 2x tiramisu (and I was surprised at the sizes, they don't skimp with the portions). One apple and damson crumble and one triple chocolate brownie. All were delicious. Drinks wise we had G&T, Camden pale ale, bourbon and cokes and a rather nice lager I have not tried before but whose name escapes me. After this treat we all were extremely full and extremely happy. A huge thank you to all the staff. We had an amazing time and we will return. On leaving the guy who had welcomed us on arrival, thanked us and we shook hands. I really cannot commend the Warwick castle too highly. It's a gem and we'll worth a visit

What a storm yesterday , wet and cold arrived at the Warwick, fire was lit , we sheltered , dried our coats Ate a couple of perfectly cooked steaks with a bottle of Merlot , Thank you for changing a grim day into a memory

Had our birthday party here, the staff and managers were absolutely amazing and everyone had a great time! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a good pint or space for a get together.

I'd like yo say a "standard" English pub, but this is a bit more dated than it should be, atmosphere is off and the staff (the evening I visited) are unpleasant but overworked /short-staffed to be fair

The Warwick Castle 🏰 is late Victorian pub in Little Venice, just north of Paddington. A busy afternoon on a Saturday with a massively jolly atmosphere. Great beer, both keg and cask. Excellent service from all concerned, a big thank you. Jolly, mad and friendly. About right.

Such a gorgeous pub with friendly staff and delicious food. They have Asahi, Guinness, Amstel, Camden Hells and more on tap - a great range of larger and stouts! My friends and I enjoyed a few drinks here and then decided to stay for dinner - the burgers and steak were both excellent. Definitely recommend.

Atmosphere great and stunning pub. We went on a Friday evening expecting to grab some food but the kitchen was closed, staff were a little rude about it. The pub is close to Lords Cricket Ground which is ideal for some and less ideal if you want a quiet pub night.

First time in here and a very enjoyable experience. Good food and the staff coped very well with a big influx of people from the Carnival

By and large a bit pricey. Gnocchi is delicious but too little.

The pub is lovely, but the service was very poor. The bartenders were not attentive, we had to ask for food and they didn’t mention that some mains were missing, so I had to go to the bar 4 times to place the order. And the time between the first person served and the last was 20 min, despite the pub being empty.

Just met friends for pre dinner drinks. Hadn’t been to this pub for maybe 35 years! Stil has all its charm.

Went for a roast and we were disappointed. Undercooked Yorkshire puddings, over cooked meat. Small portions like they run out of food but charged for the full meal.

Came across this pub while heading for a boat trip. What a lovely traditional pub with a nice setting in a quiet area. The service and welcome were warm, and the local beer - Made of Ale - was well kept and tasty. The pub had a nice feel to it, and seems to have a community feel. Outdoor seating is available.

We had dinner booked on a barge on the canal, so popped in here for a drink beforehand. It was the hottest day of the year, but the high ceilings (and a ceiling fan) with a through draught made the temperature inside acceptable. Very efficient staff and very well kept Timothy Taylor meant the quick drink led to three. Very pleasant, nicely old fashioned interior and a very attractive area.

I booked a table well in advance to celebrate a friend's birthday last Friday. Unfortunately, the road outside was being re-surfaced and the smell of tar was quite strong in the pub. However, that was not their fault and we were prepared to stay as the menu looked inviting. I ordered two drinks and then the waitress took our food orders. Then the long wait began, with no sign of any food or a waitress to explain the delay. The anticipated birthday celebration atmosphere quickly disappeared as the wait dragged on, while being totally ignored by the staff. So I went to the bar and told the staff that we were not prepared to wait any longer and wanted to cancel our food order. I was told that they were very busy and had numerous other orders to process, and we would have to wait - but, as I told them, they shouldn't have accepted our booking if they did not have enough staff to cater for the lunchtime bookings. I don't think that they had even started to cook our food, even after such a long wait, as I was able to cancel the order without any argument. We did not feel welcome and, on the contrary, felt they were glad they had one less order to deal with. We celebrated at a nearby restaurant where we were made to feel very welcome. Needless to say, we will not be going back to The Warwick Castle.

Fantastic pub in Little Venice, and I think the best pub food in the area. We came here for lunch and I had the chicken kiev, and honestly I think it's one of, if not the best, kievs I've ever had! Oozing with glorious garlic butter and served with crispy golden fries, I'm hungry just thinking about it!! Will definitely be coming back here again soon to try more of the menu!

This is a wonderful spot for a drink or excellent meal. The staff was helpful and friendly and the service was great. I only wish we lived locally so we could come back for a pub quiz!

Ooft. Bad experience. Used to come have drinks here a bit. Hadn't been back in a while so popped in to check it out. 1. Some kid sat with headphones on taking up the only free table. So we stood at the bar. Eventually he got up and left. Turns out he was working behind the bar and took up the only free table on a busy night for the hell of it 2. Ordered a neck oil. Had zero head. I ordered a repour. Bar tender said neck oils don't have head on them. First I've heard of that. He repoured it with no head again and said "see I told you, no head". Right. Tasted flat and sad. 3. Ordered a burger. Took 30 min to come and was stone cold. Patty was barely cooked and bun was cold to the touch. Chips were lukewarm. Returned it and got a refund (I think) Went to the Prince Alfred instead and they poured me a neck oil with the perfect amount of head.

We ordered a Sunday roast. My companion had lamb which was so overcooked that it was barely recognisable. In fact he said what's that when it came as it didn't really resemble lamb. I had the porchetta which was ok but would have been nicer if the crackling was crunchy. It was rubbery. The pub is a perfectly nice one, it was a shame that the food was below par. The service was good though. Maybe it was an off day?

Had a lovely Friday afternoon spent in the pub. Service was brilliant, they let us know that food would stop being served at 2pm. Having ordered some sourdough bread and olives. The bread was really tasty, the olives had cooked/grilled green ones and they had a very chemically taste. The atmosphere was that of a proper local community pub with a wide variety of customers. Everyone and their dog (literally) was welcome.

Being born and bred in Warwick and on business in London I had to try this and what a lovely pub / restaurant ill be back the sea bass is absolutely fantastic nice crispy skin too .

We had an enjoyable day at the castle but really needed 2 days so will return . We paid extra for the dungeon which was worth it. Very similar to the one in London , great fun and scary as it’s dark. No photos or videos allowed in the dungeon. We saw the trebuchet which was amazing and well explained . Set times. The falconers quest was absolutely amazing, took my breath away. Worth seeing so check times . Staff helpful.

I loved the Warwick Castle. Our waitress left us to relax but was still there when we needed her and the pub was lovely but our little room relaxed. The food was tasty but I only gave it 4 stars as the kiev lacked a buttery inside and the peas were far too oniony. Be nice if the front door closed as the cold and smell of farts a bit off putting but the team dealt with it. Will definitely come again, nice down to eat but good place.

Meeting up for our annual get together with American friends we were hoping for a quiet place to chat. This was ably provided by the friendly manager, who looked after us beautifully. The food was gorgeous, drinks topped up without chasing and bill provided promptly. Lovely evening, early for us but normal for USA! Thank you.

Food was great. Had the steak which was cooked perfectly and very delicious. Chips were well cooked too and the cider was cold! Just a shame it can’t move over one street and be next to the canal!
