Visited for lunch, was impressed with the nice indoor and outdoor seating spaces, a range of different sized tables and good space between them not crammed in. We had a toastie and a sandwich, both came with chips & salad and were very nice. A bit of added interest to watch what’s going on outside on the lake whether people tackling the inflatable obstacles or the birds swooping over the water.

Didn't even know this place existed until a week ago. Met a friend for lunch who had recommended here. The service was friendly and prompt, the food was really tasty and plenty of it and the entire experience was wonderful. Will definitely be back. 5 ***** from me.

Lovely location Arrived at 10.30an on a Sunday Lots of staff, no clear information on wether to sit any where or be seated No menu but had to.ask Disappointed they don't do a full breakfast menu on a Sunday only baps Bacon bap was nice

very nice place, good decor, roaring log fire, views accros the lake, attentive and very pleasant staff, good variety food, good size portions and very tasty (all day breakfast), easy parking..

Have visited a number of times for breakfast, lunch or coffee & cake. Staff friendly, cosy atmosphere & dogs welcome (treats available!). My favourites are brie, bacon & cranberry toasted sandwich, biscoff millionaire & oat milk flat white!

I went for breakfast with my 4 year old but missed the deadline of 11. So ordered from the brunch menu. My son wanted sausages and beans but as breakfast was over, I was informed that they can't offer beans. Surely a small pot of beans can be heated up in a microwave......They gave 1 sausage and some potato wedges. 4 year old refused to eat it as there were no beans. I was charged £7 for this meal. I feel this to be a very poor service, not flexible at all. Pot of tea was like dishwater. It's a local place and should be more accommodating and not so rigid. Prices are very expensive and although fresh ingredients are used, food is not great. Overall experience has not been good. Very disappointing on more than one occasion.

Very welcoming vibe .. a very smiley and helpful staff team , great food - excellently cooked & clearly quality produce, good value for money and a beautiful setting - oh and dog friendly 🐶🐶 Highly recommended ..

We've lived in the area for a few years and have recently discovered this great place and been back multiple times for lunch over the past year. It has a nice rustic log cabin decor which works well with the location right on the watersports lake. There's quite a limited menu but the food is excellent with pretty large portions, which they're more than happy to split between two if you'd rather share. We haven't tried the breakfasts yet but I've heard they're very good. In summary a nice quality cafe with a decent interior, great food and lovely lake views with an outdoor seating area.

A lovely cafe set on the edge of Queenford lake. We went late morning on a Sunday and the place was buzzing. Food arrived quickly and was delicious. We then went for a walk round the lake afterwards. (You need to get a pass for this).

Love this place , started coming in December & been back many times with different friends, the log burner is lovely &views of the lake great. Can’t fault the cafe at all , staff are lovely, the only thing is the road ,the potholes are horrendous ,hopefully will be sorted in the near future x

Lovely place to visit and great walk around the lake first. I ordered chicken burger but when it came it was a bun with 4 chicken goujons. The chicken pieces were in a crusty shell, deep fried. The rest of the meal was nice with a side salad and chips. The rest of the group had very tasty sausages and chicken salad. The cafe was really nice and warm, well laid out and beautiful views, just a shame not to have a chicken burger…..

The setting, decor and staff were all great. The downside was the menu with very few healthy options and mostly chips or fried food. I ordered the chicken salad as it seemed to be the main healthy option but they did not have it. I really struggled to find something I actually wanted to eat.

Cant believe I've lived so close and never visited before. Welcoming friendly staff, beautiful locatiin, trouble choosing which cake to have such a good variety. Will be back!

I had a gorgeous retreat at the wandering kitchen and was served by an even more gorgeous staff member. His dazzling eyes and auburn hair the colour of fresh autumnal leaves added to the great experience (cake was great too) . Would definitely recommend as a spot to eat ! :)

What an epic breakfast/brunch we had today. Staff, food and location were perfect. I had been given a recommendation to go and experience the Wandering Kitchen and boy it didn’t disappoint. Lots of choice of food for all, the food arrived very quickly and was first class. Empty plates all round, after a walk around the lake we then went back for drinks and scrummy cakes! We cannot wait to go back and make this a regular visit for our little family (& the dog could come too) Smiles all round! Would highly recommend to all

Met up with my parents and family friends for a midweek lunch - had table on balcony overlooking the lake and it was glorious. The food was all delicious and great service. Highly recommend to all.

I’ve just had the most amazing wild boar burger and chips. I went out of my comfort zone of a cheeseburger and I’m so glad I did. The chips are so lovely as well! Highly recommended.

Tuvimos una increíble comida en un entorno estupendo. Había un ambiente encantador y tengo que decir que el servicio era fabuloso. Muy amable. No dudaría en volver a apoyar esta relativamente nueva aventura en a aparecer comedor cuando reservamos nuestro hall de la aldea local. donde superó nuestras expectativas y sin duda reservar de nuevo. Nos trajeron su propia iluminación y mobiliario sobrio y convertido el ambiente de la casa comunal en unos acogedores restaurantes. Cada detalle fue resuelto, la comida era muy buena, la única queja viene de aquellos que comen mucho. Una buena selección de vinos y opciones adecuadas en el menú. Así que si quieres poder volver a casa desde un gran comedor experiencia luego hacerles cuando se registran en un lugar cerca de usted.
