What a wonderful little gem of a place! Have visited twice now in two weeks for tea and cake and a stroll around the garden. Cakes are amazing, staff are lovely and bring food out to your table. The walled garden is full of lovely plants, some unusual and the insect life and especially the dragonflies just a wonder to watch. Thank you 😊

Pretty, small setting but poor value and generally low quality. Over 6 quid for a less than great cream tea. Tea seemed to be from Happy Shopper and wasn't very nice. Small teacake for 4 quid. Service quite slow as was quite busy.

This was one of the first places we stopped to eat at coming from Norwich to Great Yarmouth. This is such a hidden gem! We had a lady who worked in the cafe recommend places to go while we were here on holiday and she even told us where the carrot cake was made as my fiancé said it was the best he ever had. We sadly forgot who/where the cake came from but we will definitely come back when we’re in the area again!

Had the pleasure of calling here for coffee whilst heading homeward after a short break in Norfolk. A beautiful tranquil walled garden, the volunteers were lovely and friendly, the coffee was good too! If ever we are back in the area we will be calling in for sure!

This place is a real find. Only wish we had found it before! The cakes, of which there is a good selection, are lovely (especially the chocolate Guinness cake) and the sausage rolls, (freshly cooked and made with locally sourced Archers sausage meat) are some of the best I’ve had. The staff are lovely, and the range of seating, especially the outside covered area, is well thought out. All in all, a real gem of a place. Highly recommended.

A good friend took me here for the first time a few weeks ago, and I have been back with every other friend who will accompany me since. Americano coffee strengths seem to vary a lot from place to place, and I soon learned that a double shot is needed for my taste, but the savoury and sweet offerings were an instant hit. Given how busy it was, the wait wasn't too long, and the prospect of the garden from the terrace a lovely view while doing so. Staff are mostly volunteers, I understand, but seem well trained and very friendly. I used to live in the village, and I am amazed at the hard work and dedication that has gone into this.

I went for coffee with a friend what a lovely find the gardens are lovely and the coffee and cake was delicious. The staff were very friendly and content. The community shop was well stocked and not over priced and had lots of local products to buy . The place is so relaxing with lots of space to walk around and you can buy plants and books too . Well done to all the staff and volunteers this is now one of my happy places . Can’t wait for the Friday bbq this week .

We were recommended by a friend who lives locally so decided to try the Walled Garden and were so pleased we did. Lovely friendly staff, great setting and good honest snacks and refreshments without the fuss or frills - and that is meant as a compliment! We love the setting, especially the outdoor covered seating under the superb pergolas/gazebos. The homemade sausage rolls were fresh out of the oven and a real treat. We'll be back soon and have recommended you to countless friends. Well done and please keep it up.

We have been visiting the Walled Garden Community Café in Little Plumstead since the week it opened and it is just fantastic. The coffee and cakes are great, the manager and volunteers are all very friendly and helpful and always make us or me and Molly our crazy dog welcome. The setting in the walled garden is beautiful and there is always something new to see whatever the season. Just Perfect.....

I had wanted somewhere for a light lunch and so decided to try the Walled Garden. We had to find our own table, which is fair enough, but the tables had certainly not been cleaned, let alone been cleaned to any COVID standard and no one was bothering to see that this was done. This much we accepted as it is staffed by ‘just volunteers’ but when one of the ladies who had just been serving food went outside with a tray and then came in for doggie snacks and hand feed them to the dogs I couldn’t stop watching to see if she then washed her hands! But sad to say she moved some food on trays round and then came to see what we wanted. I was just starting to talk with my wife and as the waitress arrived we decided to Not to bother. As good as any place is it certainly must be hygienic and nowadays it must be COVID-19 clean as well and sadly this is far from this so no I won’t go again and I certainly cannot recommend it at all

Tuesday lunchtime. One lady. Rushed off her feet. Snapped at me to sit down after waiting to get attention. Said she'd be with me when SHE was ready. Then told me and my two sons we'd be waiting for food as there were others ahead of us waiting. She seemed frazzled and they clearly cannot cope when busy. Went somewhere else.

Lovely country pub, we had a fabulous Sunday lunch, well cooked and presented with great Yorkshire puddings and plenty of fresh vegetables . Apple crumble great too. All 6 of us thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

We camped in the Railway's carpark for one night on our way to an event at the NEC which is just a short drive away. The pub wasn't doing food that night but they said there'd be no problem in us ordering a takeaway and eating it in the bar; they gave recommendations for good local takeaways - and even provided plates and cutlery for us to eat it off. The staff couldn't have been more pleasant and welcoming, and the friendly locals in the bar also made us feel very welcome. Everyone made a big fuss of our dogs. Definitely recommended, and we'll be back.
