The Waffle Bowl in Rutland

Had a lovely takeaway last night, really tasty vermicelli dish and a shrimp curry 😋

Happened upon this lovely pub when out for a ride on our motorbikes. Very nice atmosphere and a well presented pub, coupled with drinks that were nice and not overpriced and a friendly smile from the bar staff.

Enjoyed some lovely food here. We specifically visited here based on word of mouth for their selection of game choices. Some choices were not available, but given that the owners are moving, we weren’t surprised. The partridge was lovely and despite the hiccup with the venison croquette, that was lovely too. Such a big old building, it had a nice atmosphere. I could have done with taking a jumper though as those windows make it drafty! Shame we’re a bit late to the party to visit here, as I think it’s a great place.

Food and service was just perfect. Best pub lunch I have had in a long time. Been recommending this pub and live nowhere near here.

Great food and very good service and lovely staff very helpful and efficient and easy to talk to will cook anything you want hot spice or medium just ask them and it's done 👍
