The first thing that struck us at Ali’s was that, no matter how busy the members of staff were, they always acknowledged and greeted every person who came through the door. So unusual nowadays, but much appreciated. Great find, a short walk from the coast path, serving tourists and locals alike. Cafe and shop, food delicious and fresh. Great coffee.

A lovely cafe in a beautiful setting. We only had coffee but the food looked absolutely lovely. The staff were very friendly and quite apologetic that there was a slight delay as they were very busy. It wasn't a problem at all as it was lovely to sit outside in the sunshine .

A very nice coffee shop with just a handful of tables both inside & out. The coffee & cakes are really very, very nice. We didn’t really explore the shop but it looked like it sold some quite high end deli kind of products… Parking is best on the side street, off the main road.

I was on holiday in Weybourne, a location we picked specifically because it is very quiet but has a beach, a pub, (both of which are dog friendly), and 'The Village Store', (which doubles as a shop and cafe - we like to support local businesses, we intended to use it both for coffee/breakfast and the weekly shop). Norfolk, like most quality coastal areas is extremely dog friendly so I was stunned to find out this place does not allow dogs. What was even more disappointing was the attitude I got - the man behind the counter looked at my small, elderly, tail-wagging terrier as if she was a giant growling/murderous/smelly/savage beast and I was told in no uncertain terms that dogs were not allowed. There was no attempt at politeness or apology and no attempt to point out that they provide dog bowls and seating etc outside in order to try to accommodate us. The cafe was empty both inside and out, barring one table, when we were there - unsurprising if he speaks to all of his customers with such disdain!

As part of a planned walk along the coastal path, we took the train from Holt to Weybourne and walked down to the village in search of some coffee / breakfast and found this little nugget. It's a deli, a village shop and a coffee / snack shop as well. If your planning a walk along the stunning North Norfolk coast you would be well advised to stop off here for some sustenance. The owner and staff are very pleasant and the choice of scones, tea cakes etc is very good. Plus a small blackboard on the counter also mentioned bacon sandwiches, now, these are very good and with an egg added they are scrumptious. We visited mid march on a Sunday and were very impressed to see it open and serving a steady flow of customers, many walkers like us. Its only a short walk from the coastal path so an ideal fuelling point if on a long walk.

We regularly walk along the coast path from Sherringham (just under and hour walk and quite flat and easy). This little cafe is a lovely stop before we head back. You can sit inside or outside (the only downside is outside is by a road). The people who run it are always friendly and helpful and the prices are very reasonable. There are a selection of nibbles from cornish pasties (which are delicious) to cakes, nothing fancy but all yummy. There is also a toilet in the back. The shop itself houses a tiny variety of every proud you may need on a sea side holiday all arranged beautifully so it is a pleasure to shop in. This is the second visit to the pub- after the annual Land Rover rally for the Norfolk firefighters charity. The first time we visited was just for drinks, this time we had a meal- a roast dinner in my case. We hadn’t booked and were very pleased with the service, the lady behind the bar took our orders promptly and was very helpful with the children’s menu. Food was served quickly and was delicious, proper “pub grub” The atmosphere was very pleasant too, it was a dark, wet November night and upon entering you’re greeted by an open fire, cozy bar and cozy restaurant. Will definitely be returning- more than once a year!

Best iced coffee ever! A regular here, staff always helpful and polite. Place is always clean and tidy. Food is always freshly cooked. Dogs always welcomed with a bowl of fresh water and a butcher's sausage. Today after a stressful morning I needed a nice friendly place to go. No brainer! Megs and an iced coffee, all is right again with the world. Thanks Thomaz

Great place for brunch or just a snack very friendly staff they also gave my dog a couple of treats. There were plenty of water bowls for dogs. Would definitely go again.
