Popped in for breakfast and wasn’t disappointed. By far the best breakfast in the area and freshly cooked. Lots of tables and seating and very friendly staff.

Since moving to the area in 2011, we found this little gem of a cafe by pure chance and have been using it ever since. The breakfasts here are to die for and amazing value. There is a choice of breakfast and also you can make your own with the ingredients on offer. Always well cooked and served piping hot. Only warning is that the cafe does get busy with passing trade and from nearby places of work so it can get busy at peak times so you may not get a table, especially if a local cycling posse stop for refreshment! It’s also a village shop with some provisions on offer and a small delicatessen. A take away service is also available. With the recent restrictions on social distancing, it is advisable to book to guarantee a seat to enjoy one of these wonderful breakfasts on offer. My usual order is an ‘Intermediate’ breakfast...this includes 2 x sausages, 2 x bacon, 1 x fried egg, a portion of beans and two toast of buttered thick bread, choice of brown or white. Tea/coffee which is bottomless if you’re having a breakfast. In normal times the cafe has ‘Bistro’ nights once a week and albeit I’ve not been to one of these, a menu is displayed on the tables for the forthcoming evening and the food on offer looks fantastic. Going in this Saturday for another breakfast. Staff always friendly and helpful. Marvellous

A tad perplexed as having Googled the opening times on a couple of occasions, have arrived to find it closed? Earlier this week at midday, today at 5pm despite closing time saying 6? A shame as this is a brilliant place to grab breakfast or daily supplies when it is open.

Incredibly slow service, the young lady on the till seemed to have no idea regarding customer service, unfriendly and regret having come here. Only three other people eating, and yet we waited for a good half hour for a jacket potato, which was OK when it finally arrived, but the salad was limp and totally unimaginative. Will not be back.

Tucked into the intermediate breakfast for £6.50, plenty of food but you can go bigger if you wish. Washed down with a latte in a delightful village cafe/store. This converted old Post Office is spacious, cool and light. Would recommend to anyone for breakfast, brunch or coffee and cake.

Firstly the meal was great, I went with my parents who have been a few times and enjoyed the quality food at a good price. One of the staff berated me for asking for a refill of the supposedly bottomless coffee (which was really good!) I was on coffee number 2 before breakfast came out, as we were finishing up I queued for another refill and refill number 1 for my dad. The lady was so rude, shouting across the cafe that I had to pay (previously having interrogated me if we had ordered a breakfast) as you only get one refill. I don't mind paying for an extra cup of coffee but surely it shouldn't be advertised as bottomless! We ended up just leaving, as I visit the area quite regularly I was looking forward to taking friends there but being treted like that had changed that. I would like to add it was one of the older ladies that behaved this way, the younger woman and the other lady were very kind and the younger woman tried to diffuse the situation.

Had a 'business meeting' here at the post office in South Warnborough. Really had no idea they had a cafe inside. food looked lovely. Had a bacon and egg baguette - very nice. Coffee was great too - served up in a Mug too!Definitely worth a visit if you are driving past.

New to the area I discovered this place a couple of weeks ago and have been back several times since - fab breakfasts brought to you by the chef himself, great coffee and a real home made business with a great community feel. Was half expecting Inspector Barnaby to pop in for a fry up. On Friday nights they do fish and chips too! Love it!

We heard good things about a little post office in south warnborough so decided to check it out for a little birthday breakfast. It was great! It's such a lovely little shop/cafe. The breakfast is served till 3 which is amazing so no rush, the lady who greeted us was so lovely and the man who cooked the food looked cheery too!Such good value as the meals were not expensive (and a good amount of choice size wise) and the food was just so good. You could tell it was all good quality produce and cooked to perfection. Normally with a cooked breakfast some things are better than others but we all left clean plates!Tea/coffee was included and they do hash browns which is a winner for me!10/10 would recommend to anyone and we will definitely be back xxx

The Village Shop and Post Office, offers more then just a few essentials and a place to send post. The venue is also a cafe, I took my children there the other day and ordered some lunch to go. We were greeted by friendly staff who are always lovely to my children and on top of that our lunch was ace. 10/10 I say :)

Good produce, well cooked, nice service, great value. Ticks all of my boxes. Good hot food, bottomless coffee (I managed to get one "to go"). Nice portion size, food good and hot. There was a little wait, but it was well worth it.Once a month they do a Bistro evening, but make sure you book in advance, as they are quite popular.A real find.Am looking forward to my next visit.

Congratulations is in order here, to be in CAMRA Good Beer Guide is a badge of honour, This is one pub that deserves it as the beers are always Tip Top Condition. As a fairly regular customer here ive seen the growth of Ale drinkers coming into the pub, and always great comments on the condition of the Ale, also always a fantastic selection to be sampled. Bottoms Up Steve and Staff, well deserved Coach And Horses.

This is the second time in as many weeks and both times they have been great with my 2 year old, bringing out crayons, a biscuit or lolly pop. Lovely ladies in there, I would recommend their delicious cakes.

Only had food here, didn't stay, but it was excellent. Sunday roast beef and my wife had the sea bass. The only thing I might suggest is that they offer a steak knife with the roast beef as I think it was a sirloin(sounds odd but I think that's what it said) and quite hard to cut with standard knife. Like the slate (?) running through the tables, too. Will be back👍🏻

The food is good. I tried the yummy mango and apple cake with mocha. The service is outstanding. They have indoor and outdoor seating.
