We had a lovely Sunday date here! We will likely make this a weekly thing now as it was a great experience with delicious food for great value.

Very good food and large portions. 😃 I was surprised that the rice was not included in the main dish. It was also a shame that chai was not available, and I was offered PG Tips instead. 🙂

First time visit to this Indian restaurant,we had a take away. Superb friendly staff, excellent service. When we got home after the smell of Indian cuisine in the car,we were not let down. Unfortunately, this was the worst Indian cuisine I've ever had. We got the vegetarian Thali for two (£40) and the only good thing was the garlic naan. Very little heat, a very bland general garam masala spice mixture that was the same base across four of the curry sample dishes, the raita had curdled, and the onion bhaji was cold, oily, and soft. There were also an incredible number of servers. The first two people kept trying to get us to order drinks, and when we declined and said what we'd like to order for food, we were told they couldn't do it and sent someone else. We interacted with at least six servers during our meal. Additionally, the food was brought out on plastic trolleys and then removed on plastic trolleys (they very well have been two different sets of trolleys, but it felt off). We also noticed the hygiene rating of three (checked on the government food rating website and this rating was issued on 3 Nov 2022). We'll obviously not be back.

We went to the village masala last night to celebrate my dad’s 70th Birthday the food was delicious and the service was outstanding! Nothing was too much trouble they really looked after us and helped make my dad’s birthday celebrations special!! Would 100% recommend 🤩

A bit of a gem of an Indian. Eaten here twice while visiting. Not bog standard as the food is a bit more creative and interesting.

Food is quality, but this evening I had a small complaint! The poppodoms we had were not fresh, slightly stale, but not un edable , I told the guy at the till, he was adamant they were fresh!!! Definitely not fresh, so im sorry but you need to serve FRESH, even for your first customers, wich we were.

I went in just after opening and service was second to none. The food was really good not a bad dish at all the chef even took time to come and ask how it was which was a nice touch. Made to feel welcome and even a pack of sweets at the end after a week in Rhyl for work this was by far the best food I had !!!!! Keep up the good effort

We were staying in the area and Googled restaurants and this one took our eye with a good rating. The menu was varied and inviting, we went for the banquet for two and we weren't disappointed. The service was quick and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We would definitely recommend.

Found via goggle . Went in at just after 4pm so was quiet . Good attentive service . Food not majorly spicy but tasted fresh and good portion size . Good value for money . Free parking. If lived in area would use again . 10 out of 10 Cobra on tap

A very nice Indian restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. The restaurant is surprisingly bigger than expected with comfortable and well spaced seating. The food was very good and well presented. Free car park next to the restaurant.

We went here a big party of us for my daughters 40th. On 16/9/23 Fantastic food the service was great and every member of staff was so pleasant and helpful. Nothing was to much trouble whatever we asked for. The food was so lovely and plenty of it. Lovely place would definitely recommend to anyone. Keep up the great work you do . You were amazing.

My experience is not good in this place. They try to force you order drink. Which we ask they don't have it. Not good restaurants for vegetarian people. We ordered 2curry ,1 dal ,4chapti In main. We ask 1extra chapti. He say let me ask . Like really . Samosa was cold

Our first visit whilst at our holiday place in Wales. Very good service and food was excellent with plenty of choice and good portions. Very clean and well laid out with plenty of room and tables. On this visit it was cash only, hence point loss.

Called in yesterday as we have been past a few times, friendly greeting we had lamb curries from the tandoori menu. Came with rice and sauces very well cooked tasted lovely, for starters we had poppadoms which had 3 sauces and onions again very nice. Relaxed atmosphere not rushed definitely recommend and will try more curries from the menu

We always visit here when we're in the area. Food was amazing and reasonably priced. The service wasn't as good as it has been previously in my personal opinion. We will return none the less when we are back in the area.

A great modern Indian restaurant. We visited this place when on holiday for the weekend near by. We didn't book and it was busy when we arrive but they was able to accommodate us (table of 7) after a 10 minute wait. The place was clean and modern, Great taste dishes, and friendly staff and the draught beer was good. It seems a very popular place that can get busy. Definitely worth a try if your in the area.

A place we visited many times before but what a shame today. The place had very loud Indian film on tele. But the worse is the service. Three waiters came to us and almost forced us to order drinks. When we asked for soup and the main menu all of them left us telling they will be back in a min or two. Never to return. We suspected the kitchen had issues and the management was trying to buy time. Had no choice and left never to return. Will not recommend.

Got there quite late had an idea they might shut early as every where else has this week as it is not busy anywhere. Had poppadoms to start they were nice my son had one of the chef's specials and I had tikka masala both with pilau rice. Couldn't fault the portions loads of chicken and tasty as well. We were the last ones in but they never rushed us in any way price was average it's worth a visit

We attended for the Sunday special served between 1 and 5pm. The food was of good quality and the staff seemed friendly however I chose a nagra curry after asking advice and the curry being described as 'not too hot'. I have since found out this curry is hotter than a vindaloo and is made with one of the hottest chillies in the world. Therefore my dining experience was ruined because the curry was far too hot. Could you maybe indicate the hotness of your curries with the chilli pictures to assist others? We also felt rushed during our visit and would not be likely to return.

A friend recommended me to eat here while in north wales and she was spot on the food was awesome, very tasty, not oily and plenty of it. Thank you

We went to Village Massala yesterday afternoon (18th June) for a family dinner. The decor is gorgeous, all staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is AMAZING 🤩 Can’t wait until our next visit 💕

Absolutely lovely meal been visiting Rhuddlan for years but never been here before ..we will definitely go again as it was delicious .

Previous takeaways were good but recently ordered the banquet for two which was really poor. Meat was overcooked and dry and really low quality. Chutneys were small and only 3 were delivered. 1 small rice and small portions of starters. Looking for local alternatives for next time. After this poor experience the manager contacted and we were offered some complimentary starters with next order. We had a really great selection of starters and mains and can’t fault the manager and the food. Definitely recommend

Came here as was visiting the area for the week. Turned up, tried to pay with card. Got told they only accept cash. Thought ok, so went to the cash machine outside. Came back in and seen the waiter come back with a card machine. Said I thought I couldn't pay with card, waiter said "my boss told me you have to pay with cash" thought that was very strange, maybe a big dodgy. As for the food, was OK, nothing special. Not the worst Indian food I've eaten but far from the best.

The restaurant has had a renewal in decoration and new chairs that are very comfortable. Food is good and always a good selection to choose from and worth the price.

Meal cost £40 charged £76 not worth it.

6 of us dined on a Wednesday evening - everyone enjoyed their meals thoroughly and my king prawn balti was up there with the best I have tasted.

I've visited here a few times and it can be hit and miss what service you get. So I'll start with when I tried to book a table here. I got cut off and told we'll see you between 3-5 didn't take my name didn't take him many seating, nor what time. I rung back again in disbelief that they hung up the phone. Again I was met with a rude manner and had the phone put down on me for the second time. I wanted to ask about their Sunday deal they had on. But didn't even get chance to ask. Upon arrival it seemed ok, place was dead by 8.30 on a Sunday. Took our orders and couldn't seem to understand that I wanted a chicken tikka masala with garlic and chilli after a few minutes trying to explain he left and the chef came out to ask me yet again that our order was correct. Poor communication skills, lack of should I say. The food was nice, but was let down by the service. The bill arrived and was shocked that they charge you so much for poppadoms. For s meal for two with two drinks it cost just under 50 which I found very expensive. Considering it was half the price and you got more only a few hours earlier. Truth is I wouldn't of gone knowing it wasn't the Sunday special, I find nearly 11 quid for a curry that is only half the size compared to takeaway then having to pay nearly 4 quid for rice. I'm stuck shocked I got charged 6 quid for poppadoms. If you going to offer a special I'd recommend having it longer or cutting off service when that deal ends. If I had been spoken to correctly and with attention when I called I would of found out that the deal wasn't on, but the food is nice but massively spoilt by the treatment from the first phone call. It's not the first time he's be experienced this, but seeing as it's my local curry house it makes sense to go there but I won't be visiting again and I won't be recommending it either as I found my experiences with you just not a nice atmosphere, service wasn't great. Time before this I walked out as the server just didn't have any regard for us. Table got drinks, poppadoms before us. Out drinks hadn't even been served then er told them to cancel them were leaving. The lad who served us just looked like he didn't want to be there and when er asked where our drinks where he replied with I've told them to sort it yeah, chill. He was a young lad, so maybe not much experience with customers, safe to say we walked out. And the food inspector was in too, so think they felt overwhelmed but still shouldn't stop them providing good service. I'll be going else where for my curry, can't justify spending £15 on over priced food that didn't offer good service.

My partner and i usually eat here once a week . The food is always so tasty with so much attention to taste and attention to detail in the presentation. The staff always greet us with big smiles and friendly welcomes and nothing seems to be too much for them. Really lovely place that we would highly recommend. Love this place.

Absolutely fabulous as usual. Fantastic food and drink. Staff are attentive without being intrusive. Well worth a visit if you love Indian food. They do offer a steak, omelette, scampi and a couple of other choices for non Indian food lovers. They also have a take away service which is at a discounted price but I'm sure it's collection only.

First time visiting this evening with my family (9 of us). We booked for 5pm and were the only ones in for around 30 minutes when it started to get busier. Aesthetically, the interior is nice but needs new flooring, the ceiling could do with repainting as it looks like they’ve had a leak & they could do with new chairs as you feel like you sink into them even though they are ‘leather’. The welcome we got was very warm & pleasant. Waiting on staff were extremely attentive if not a little too much some of the time, there was always a member of staff coming round seeing if we had finished when it would have just been nice to be served our food, asked if all was ok & left to it until we had all finished, we did feel a tad rushed. The food itself was really very nice, tasty, fresh & excellent portion sizes especially the child portion of curry…brilliant. We would definitely recommend this restaurant & will visit again. Definitely book though. 🤗

Was staying in the premier inn near. This was the second time we have dined at the village masala. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The place is clean and the food is delicious. Would definitely recommend dining here. We were a family of 4 2 adults, 1 teenager and 1 10 year Le17.

Having a stay with my husband family in kinmel bay we had originally booked a table however because of illness we had to cancel. We did however have a takeaway. Coming from a town in Bedfordshire that is full of Indian restaurants (and we have eaten at many) we could not fault this meal it was perfect. The restaurant looked lovely and on collection my sister in law looked through the kitchen window. It was absolutely spotless. Top marks to everyone at the village masala. We will be back

Ordered for the first time tonight as we are staying in ty Mawr campsite. Absolutely wonderful takeaway meal and when I collected the restaurant looked nice too with several tables already occupied. Only downside was cash only but there was a cash machine right outside.

I travel and eat out a lot due to work. Visiting a lot of takeaways on my journeys. This place is really good. The staff are really helpful, when they found out I was in the nearby premier Inn they asked if I wanted plates etc. The food was absolutely amazing. Went for my usual lamb biryani and I gotta say its its up there with one of the best I've ever tasted. Only given 5 stars as it doesn't go to 11...

My wife and I visited the restaurant on 23rd of June 2022. We were highly impressed with the the cleanliness of the premises, the quality of the food and the service. We will certainly return.

Been couple of times but my last visit was disappointing the Sunday offer had increased in price by £1 which wasn't a problem but when the curries arrived the sauces were nice but meat very sparce ( only 4 very small peices in each curry and rice was clumpy as if it had been microwaved won't be returning

Staff had no personality, disorganised with us from walking in. No dessert menu offered which we would of had and coffees.

We booked a table for a group of 9 for Mother’s Day. We turned up with the place closed with a sign on the door to say due to gas issues not open! But never received a phone call after leaving a number with booking. Terrible customer service

Was ok, torn between 3-4 stars because the staff were super friendly I liked it in there just the food was abit so so tbh, I’ve had a lot better food for the price.
