The Village Fryer in Castle Point

We ordered Fish & Chips plus extras last night for 3 of us. Delivered quickly and we were all impressed by the meals. Hot, freshly cooked fish with a light batter (not stodgy). Chips were excellent, again fresh not re-fried. Dont usually order from here but local fish shop is expensively trendy and very hit and miss depending on who's doing the frying. Looking forward to trying many more meals in the future. Thank you

Absolutely appalling surely they have never run a takeaway or a fish and chip shop before! Food was awful certainly wont revisit.

No. Pescado y patatas fritas rancias una pasada combinación más desagradable. Este fue un visita ya que era el único lugar abierto en domingo y sha no volveremos. Si el dueño lee esto - que necesita para convertir esta alrededor!! Necesidades! Thundersly

Debería haber aprendido mi lección desde hace 2 años y no volver. Hambre y perezoso, fui a la estación para llevar abierto a las 5 de la tarde en la primera impresión Sábado dos personal nunca había estado a cargo de la comida para llevar! No me dejar a cargo de un agudo olvídate grasa tulipas chip caliente no salgo ahora? Que estoy muerto de tepe. En llegando a casa las patatas fritas eran como habían sido tomadas de un museo y refritos, el pastel se había guardado en el armario caliente ya que Inglaterra último dieron pat 400 final. Así en el crack, una cerveza bin y calentarse el portátil e ir a comer solo. No dan chips nuevo, así cantonesa que es. Evitar este agujero de rata como de la peste.

The chips are not nice at all, I think they are often refried. Iv received food from there which has been cold. I think the staff need training and they need to buy better quality food.

We bought some fish & chips to take home from here one evening. The chips were horrible. They seemed to have been reheated / recooked (probably left over from lunch time or a previous day) and we had to throw them away! The fish was awful too - heavy, greasy batter. We would never get food here again!
