The Village in Leicester

I work very close by to this newly refurbished place and often walked past it on my way to lunch somewhere else. There was a sign on a board saying £4 chicken wrap (takeaway). Gave it a try and it was lovely. Subtly spiced chicken in a fresh wrap with great salad and fresh, homemade chilli sauce. I've been back a few times now. Lovely couple who run the place, would love to see this place take off.

I have walked past a few times and the place looks well presented inside. However today I decided to pop in for some lunch, the service was reasonable, although prices were quite high on the takeaway menu, the place was very quiet, not rushed etc yet they still managed to under cook my food to the point where I was unable to even chew through it. Completely put me off and I had to throw it away.

We went here having walked by it for a few weeks and thinking it looked nice from the outside. It was lovely the restaurant is lovely decorated and clean and really sets the atmosphere. The food was amazing, very authentic, most authentic Turkish food we have had in Leicester, and came out piping hot and would recommend to people , the service was great very attentive.
