Amazing place for a Sunday roast, best food, amazing atmosphere with live music, brilliant people working there, genuinely worth a visit anytime especially on a Sunday 👏👏

Popped in on a busy Sunday, at lunch time. Service was very quick, staff were really polite and friendly. Our waitress was Sami, she was quick to seat us, take our orders and was happy to help and answer any questions we had about the menu. The food arrived quickly and was the best meal we've had out in a long time. Would (and have) 100% recommend this resteraunt to anyone and will be returning soon.

We had a booked for Sunday lunch today we were seated quickly & efficiently by Izzy. The roast dinner was a perfect size with crispy fluffy roast potato’s and a cauliflower cheese with a cracking cheese pull. Would highly recommend Sunday lunch!!!

After winning the Facebook Sunday roast competition. I gifted it to my mum and dad as I wasn’t able to attend. They called me later once they were home and said they had a lovely meal. Their Sunday lunch was really nice and had lots of it. They said the service was nice and friendly and they had a warm welcome. Thankyou for looking after them.

Absolutely amazing food, lovely & helpful staff. We brought our dog & they had even put out dog biscuits on the table for him. High recommended!

With a large group of over 30 people... pre ordered food and all came out piping hot and really tasty. Cannot fault their service and food today.

We visit hamble about twice a month and usually eat out for one evening out of two. Over the last couple of months we have tried the food in the Victory, mainly on Friday or Saturday evenings. After 4 visits, where we have said we must review them each time, I've finally gotten round to it. This particluar visit, was about 8pm on Thursday evening, and not wishing to delay we ordered two steaks medium rare. Service was prompt and the steaks were cooked perfectly. The barman was friendly and even took the food order whilst juggling another drinks order, so we wouldn't be waiting so long for it. Previously we have had their brisket fajitas, sizzling with tender, smoky meat and vibrant vegetables, which are a must-try and still the high bar we compare all fajitas too. My daughter also complemented the burger on a previous occasion. All in all this is our go to pub for a quick drink after the drive down and then for a meal when there is no live entertainment as that seems very popular.

We went here on a Tuesday evening. The menu was varied and we were very pleased with our experience. Food and drink were affordable and the staff were very friendly.

Food, mediocre. Drinks, overcharged. Staff, scruffy and unknowledgeable. Gentleman with very short hair mouse coloured hair was unprofessional. Change of ownership. Welcomed by everyone in the Village. No one wants a pub with a seedy reputation (the Landlord and Barmaid scenario says it all ). Good riddance !

Some stockily built girl provided the wrong order, overcharged and provided terrible service. Seemed to eat all the time whilst on duty !

Went to Hamble for a day out. Saw the Victory and called in for Sunday lunch. Were made welcome and both had roast pork lunch. Quality very good and staff friendly. Thank you 😊

We popped into the Victory somewhat spontaneously on a Sunday afternoon, four adults, three dogs, and a baby. We asked if it would be OK bringing in the dogs and the staff were more than happy to accommodate us all for Sunday lunch even though we had not booked. We were made to feel so welcome and staff and customers alike made a real fuss over the dogs! Everybody was so friendly. The staff were absolutely great, a real credit to this super friendly and welcoming pub. We each had a Sunday roast and the food was lovely. I had roast beef. It was delicious. Not the first time I’ve had a Sunday roast at the Victory but my first one in a while. Already looking forward to the next one. Big thank you to the staff for being so friendly and welcoming. Visited here on weds 6th with my partner, our newborn my two neices and my parents. This pub is a nice looking REAL Traditional pub, and in our opinion the best pub/restaurant in the area. Staff were great the food prices were great and affordable and the food is good quality real homemade food and perfect portions.

We visited The Victory for Sunday lunch. Prices are reasonable and the food is good. Not amazing, but worth the money. I had the steak pie. Very tasty but I’d have loved mash with it instead of chips. Also the gravy wasn’t homemade. The fish and chips and the roasts looked good. The scampi was fine - not the best ever but a good hearty portion. Service was ok - a waitress who was new and I can’t knock her lack of knowledge as it was her first day, but she would benefit from some customer service training. We didn’t feel terribly well looked after. Drinks were fine but no ice and slice in diet cokes - always feels a bit disappointing.

My husband and I visited the victory Inn on 15th February for an early dinner. The warm welcome and the speedy bar service - including the delights from the extensive gin menu to the excellent dinner and the delicious food. I had the steak and ale pie and my partner had spaghetti and meat balls. Both meals were outstanding. The staff were both courteous and polite. They serve Guinness on tap which was fantastic. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the village.

Came down to watch the rugby last weekend, great atmosphere. Great pub. Great staff. Great food. Great Guinness.

Had a table booked for 6pm with my family including a 2 and 5 year old. We were placed at at the far end of the bar.... food was not worth the money, every other word we heard was f*!k from the locals they were not youngsters but fully grown men. Spoke with the landlady and she seems nothing will happen. This place should come with a WARNING.

In Lower Hamble this is a lovely charecter pub. as a group we really enjoyed our visit here and the staff were great. Would visit for a pint if passing.

Recently moved into the area and frankly spoilt for choice. The Victory Inn provides great beer, great food and friendly at a reasonable price. Well worth a visit.

When we are in Hamble we always wil go for a great burger at the Victory Inn. An absolute fantastic burger an great place to spend a couple of hours.

What a lovely pub , friendly staff and we had an amazing beef roast dinner, perfectly cooked and piping hot. Which makes a change. Definitely would go again.... Oh and very dog friendly. 😁
