We should have been starting a holiday in France this weekend but quarantine regulations prevented us so we came up to London to cheer ourselves up. A meal here made me smile again. It’s a lovely pub offering upstairs an intimate restaurant experience. The staff were lovely. The food was excellent. Have already recommended to other members of the family. Merci beaucoup.

Make a point of visiting whenever in London if possible, and its been nearly 7 months, but finally made it.Not much to say, except - forget best pub in Paddington, forget best pub in London, it is "simply the best pub in the UK"End of......

04/08/2020: Indeed excellent ! What a lovely stay . We went to Highclere castle and Booked one night here with our friends . Service and for both fantastic . Really well positioned for a walk up to Heavens Gate the following morning . The staff were really good fun. Well done in these weird and wonderful times
13/07/2020: Another excellent visit to the Pheasant.The management have fully embraced and managed the COVID requirements . I must say I wish they were taking table reservations in the bar to ensure you have a table as it would be frustrating if you arrived to not have space.Food and drink excellent as usual, the usual huge portions of good pub food.

06/10/2020: Jai mis 4/5 car nous avons eu une superbe réduction 55£ pour le menu avec 6 platsAutrement j’aurais mis 3/5Dessert assez moyen On s attend à mieux pour un étoilé Néanmoins Tres bon moment de complicité avec la sommelière La mise en bouche était vraiment très bonne
12/09/2020: There was a very warm welcome from réception and we had the tasting menu with wine pairing. Marco was very attentive and Irene had an impressive knowledge of wine pairing. Pierre was also very helpful.We had an amazing time at the Angler and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a good experience with a tasting menu
