We stopped here for lunch after touring around a lot of London and happy we did! Service was fantastic and the food was really good! And they catered to Gluten Free allergies with many options!

This pub is top class! On a Liverpool matchday, particularly for a big game, it is exactly the same as being in a pub in Liverpool. An absolute must, for a Liverpool fan in London!!

Love the spread eagle. It is our regular after work hangout. Kinda, Louis, Adrain and Kuba make us feel so welcome always. Wish all pubs still worked like this. Chicken wings and beer ... love it

A great pit stop on a busy sunny day in central London. A great choice of beers and the staff are really friendly and welcoming. The outside seating area is the perfect place to watch the world go by!

So happy to find this pub on a solo trip to London on a very busy sunny day! Kinga, who served me, was really friendly and welcoming, which put me at ease. The pub was clean and obviously well-managed and I got a table outside where I could just sit and watch the world go by. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Cancelled via email 2 hours before the booking, so we'd already travelled after booking days before. Staff member very unhelpful and did not seem the slightest bit bothered about accommodating us.

We visited Spread Eagle to watch a Liverpool game. I felt like I'm in Anfield. Everybody shouting and cursing, which thrilled me. Food was also nice.

A great night in the spread eagle, staff a very friendly and food was really good. This is a Liverpool pub in the heart of London, it gets extremely busy and was bouncing when the Liverpool game was on, a great atmosphere. If you’re a Liverpool fan it’s a must, if you’re not in to football it’s still a great pub to eat and have a pint. Will definitely be back.

Been to this lively pub a fair few times and they do not disappoint, I always have brilliant customer service experience. The food is DELICIOUS!! never lets me down. Staff are incredibly friendly and always go above and beyond. Highly recommend.

Have been to this pub a number of times previously when visiting London, and being down again this weekend for a show, we decided to call in a couple of times again. This only cemented our view that this will always be our go to place for a few drinks when in the smoke, as the staff and regular customers are always friendly and lots of fun. It's a reasonably priced and incredibly welcoming traditional pub. You feel like you're in your local, which is rare (in my experience) for central London. Great place, great drinks, great food, great people, great fun.

It was a quick visit as I wanted a break from Christmas shopping, I received a very warm welcome from the girl behind the bar. The bar attracted me in due to the cosiness of the place with Christmas lights!

My girlfriend and I were here for a glass of beer and a drink. Very cozy place and nice staff, smelled a bit strange in the bar but otherwise it was really good! Highly recommended!

Half of the food menu wasn't available online to order, when ordering drinks they all came up on the online menu but a staff member had to come and tell us that most of the drinks were unavailable as well. The food was mostly OK, but the brie and camembert dumplings were very cold and hard so both had to be re heated. The reason this review is even medium is because of the very polite attentive member of staff that served our table. He couldn't apologise enough and it wasn't at all his fault. If they had a full menu available this review might have been a bit different. I don't know whenever this is typical here or not as it was my first visit.

Kinga gave us an amazing service was so friendly and happy made our night amazing. Will definitely be coming again thanks to everyone.

Beautifully decorated for Christmas. We were welcomed as soon as we entered the pub. Food came quickly and glasses were promptly cleared. Nothing to complain about except the smell of the ladies’ toilets which got worse the closer you descended the stairs to them. Otherwise, would have been 5 stars.

Nice pub conveniently located in central London. It has a small outside area with heating, and a few tables to enjoy yourself when the weather is nice. The staff are friendly and helpful, and overall service was pretty quick. The layout inside is good, leaving a reasonable amount for standing around if it is packed, but equally, there is a good amount of tables available for sitting down and having a pint and a chat as you are passing through the area. Would not have any reservations about returning next time I’m in area.

Lovely atmosphere, thanks to Paul, the pub is so alive and so much fun! Watching all the Liverpool matches here is incredibly special- love the place.

The manager Nicole is very very welcoming and always makes sure we have everything we need. She is excellent with my food intolerance and always makes sure we have an enjoyable experience!

Plenty of choice on the menu and the food we chose was very good. Great for watching sports as a number of large TVs upstairs and downstairs.

The food was pretty good (I especially loved the pudding), and the service was great. It's a pity that the bathroom was in dire condition. It already smelt badly from outside the door and the smell was hard to manage while inside. The carpet was worn out in many places. For my review to get to five stars, the place would need a renovation. (review updated to explain the mild rating)

Came in for a little drink and a nibble while my friend was in town. We shared nachos and jerk chicken dumplings. The food was delicious and the service attentive and fast. Kinga was welcoming and we felt well looked after. Will definitely come back.

For Liverpool FC fans, this London gem is like a mini Anfield where fellow fans chant and sing together during the live broadcast of LFC games. The staff were prompt in serving drinks and food despite the crowd. The beers were good and priced reasonably.

So disappointing. We've been here many of times and the food has been good but today the roast had no veg and the potatoes were really hard.

The kitchen opening hours both on google and on their website are incorrect, and even though they clearly manage the listing and reply to reviews, staff claimed they couldn't do anything about kitchen hours and it was apparently just too bad that we actually dared rely on their published info. Not good enough. Edit in response to reply: I notice that you chose to be patronizing rather than addressing the incorrect information you're publishing. When I arrive in a hotel late and need to find somewhere to get dinner before the city closes, it *matters* that such hours are correct. Why is it difficult for you to put the actual opening hours up? What do you achieve - except negative reviews - by not publishing the real hours?

Last minute visit to watch England Euros quarter final - managed to get a spot upstairs, but unfortunately the bar wasn't open up there, so had to go downstairs each time for drinks. This was hampered by many people congregating on both sides of the stairs, sitting and watching the football. No attempt to move to let people through, you were literally having to climb over people. Would have been a real issue had there been an emergency...

A nice place for a drink just off Oxford Street

I had an excellent time at the Spread Eagle. One of my favourite pubs in the UK when I visit the Camden area. Had a great chat with the bartender Bobby, who made my experience that much better. Great food, great choice of beers. Will be back!

Very nice pie, and lovely people behind the counter.

The food was fine, though only got a sandwich but the portion sizes are not worth the money. If you’re after a sandwich for lunch; you’re better off in pret.

The pub was fine, they have a descent selection of drinks and nice atmosphere. The steak was very interesting and came cut in pieces that were cooked from all the sides. However there was a spot to seat on a Thursday evening which was great

Found this little pub just off Oxford street fairly near Oxford Circus, I was with my 14 year old daughter and we were a bit hungry so popped in at lunchtime. Found a table straight away and ordered 2 burger meals which were just fine and filled us up nicely! Good atmosphere and there was an upstairs as well, service was quick and no complaints at all. Strange that it was the only pub I've been in that does not serve J2O, but hey ho, daughter was happy with coke!

Professional, friendly, and funny staff. The busy was busy when I arrived but we got served very quickly. I would definitely go back to this venue. Food was worth the money!

Have visited this pub a number of times when in London. The staff make it a really welcoming place, such that it has the feel that you are in your local pub. The food is great and always a great, well kept drinks selection. Always my first stop whenever I head down to London. Atmosphere is great, particularly when the football is on. Staff are always friendly and polite even at the busiest of times when they’re rushed off their feet. Hope to be back soon!

Returned to the Spreadeagle on a recent visit to London and was not disappointed at all . The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. The staff were lovely and work very hard keeping all the customers fed and watered . Good choice of food and drinks always served with a smile. The Spreadeagle is ideally located for sightseeing in London . Will call in on our next visit .

Nice enough pub similar to alot of Greene King pubs. Small and located just off Oxford Street so can get very busy. Drinks were nice enough and service was friendly. Prices typical London prices.

Great food, served fresh and hot, at a Liverpudlian pub near the Bond Street Underground station. We enjoyed the burgers - meat and non-meat - the mac & cheese, and the desserts. They have vegan and vegetarian options, which seems to be rare at London pubs. Cheers!
