Nearly 3 hours for a delivery, food was cold when it arrived. Now have a stomach ache. First and last time I'll be trying them

Food quality excellent as always. Food was late unusually! What annoyed us was the delivery driver cap in hand, demanding a tip quite abruptly, despite the delivery fee and lateness, needless to say the tip was not one he was expecting.

I’ve ordered before and it was excellent quality, I’m sad to say last nights delivery was cold and the quality was just not the same , very sad as used to be a family favourite. We will be trying another restaurant now .

Food was amazing. Delivery sadly bad but these things happen. The chap was deeply apologetic. Hopefully they will find us easier next time

Beautiful Lamb Rasa, Keema Naan and a bottle of Merlot. Perfect. I do need to be careful when ordering as my location on Just Eat defaulted to the wrong address. My fault entirely for not double checking. Sorted by phone call with delivery man.

Was shocked to see on online orders there is a compulsory service charge and an option to add a tip 5% - 20%, I have been tipping this way assuming the kitchen gets the service charge and the drivers the added tip. But after asking the delivery drivers if this or any of it goes to them they have all said "no". So it seems the owners keep it all to themselves and the non kitchen restaurant staff get nothing. I find this disgusting if this is the case.

They delivered my lunch on xmas day and I have to say that it was superb . The food arrived hot, on time and was absolutely delicious . First class !

Prompt warm food but was uncomfortable with being asked for a tip after they said happy Christmas. Just back from road trip. Don’t have much cash at home. Female in the dark and man at door waiting for tip. Otherwise very tasty food. Plenty for family at great price with just eat voucher.

The best Indian restaurant in for miles around. Viceroy's mastery of meat cooking is a wonder. The way they use herbs and spices to produce the most delicate layers of flavour is breathtaking and utterly delicious. Their customer service is fantastic. I can not recommend Viceroy highly enough.

What a wonderful place with very friendly staff and excellent food. A really nice twost on the traditional Indian restaurant with great decor and atmosphere. The food is excellent and the dishes are extremely good value and well presented. The flavours are complex, but they still have that authenticity. The value was excellent, and even though the portions were right, there was still more than we could eat.

Only downside was the Dopiaza didn’t have much curry sauce mostly chicken with onions, but what little sauce was very tasty

My wife and I booked late afternoon for Friday evening and recieved confirmations within the hour of our reservations, despite this being during closed hours for the restaurant. On arrival restaurant was very clean with plush seats and unusual cutlery. The menu is varied and contains some items we had not tried before. Curry is served in modern rimmed bowls and rice etc separately. Our views were mixed on this. I liked the fine dining aspect of this but my wife prefers to have an empty plate and serve herself. Whichever way, the food was excellent, hot, tasty and not watery. Meat curries contained lots of meat and not just onion and peppers to bulk it out. Service was attentive and when it was noted we were not eating the saag paneer, we were not overly keen on this version, it was whisked away and replaced by a much better take on the dish. Could not fault it. Right in the centre and literally 2 mins from the Premiere Inn. Kerp up the good work. Would deffinately return if in Yeovil.

Best Indian food i've had, everything had so much flavour from the dips to the main dishes would highly recommend and the owner is very welcoming and friendly. Great find cant fault it at all.

I have never tasted burnt rice before I guess it's an quiet taste. Food is garbage no taste no flavour would have been better if I brought my own pot noodle for them to cook. Best avoid at all costs. Google need to allow zero star reviews.

The driver was given an incorrect address, 7 miles away, despite having ordered meals from the Viceroy for many years. He charged me an additional £3 for the extra milage. And the overcooked chicken, was unquestionably the worst meal we've had.

While travelling around the UK, I always look for a good Indian, found this on trip advisor and wasn’t disappointed one bit, such a great restaurant, excellent staff, food was brilliant and extremely well priced, definitely fully recommend, thank you for a wonderful experience

First time ordering takeaway from this restaurant and I must say we were heavily disappointed. We placed our first order on 05/07/2024 and didn’t hear anything back re our complaints so have decided to leave and honest and open review. Took 2 hours to deliver and when we called the restaurant to ask where our order was they stated it was 5-10 minutes away. It then took a further 30 minutes for us to receive our food. Totalling in 2.5 hours to receive a meal, when we were told the waiting time would be between 30 minutes to an hour. When we eventually received our food the order was wrong. I ordered a prawn rogan which was cold and my partner ordered a CHICKEN korma. He received a prawn korma. Not only was this the completely wrong order but he is also severely allergic to prawns and was left with no dinner, we’re just extremely lucky he noticed before he tried it. For a business to not be taking extreme caution around one of the top 14 KNOWN allergens, it’s disgusting and there food hygiene and health & safety should be re assessed. The only positive to this whole ordeal was that the person who picked up the phone call was polite, hence the 1 star. All in all don’t order.

I ordered a chicken korma but received a prawn korma. I’m severely allergic to shellfish so wasn’t able to eat the food and I wasn’t gonna order again because it was already 2 hours late. I was very disappointed in this.

food was good quality except for the bahjis which were cold and soggy. ordered at 7.15 and not delivered until 9pm, even then the driver wasn't listening to what I was saying to I had to go out and find him. I don't understand how it could be so late on a Tuesday!

Food was ordered at 6.10pm and was supposed to be delivered between 6.55-7.15 then a message came saying it would be 8.20pm it finally turned up at 9pm far too late in the evening too eat

We’ve had takeaway from Viceroy on several occasions and would highly recommend. The food is always hot and fresh, the staff are extremely helpful and polite, especially Rubel who is always happy to recommend new dishes. The best Indian food in the area.

Lovely food and collected on time however we were missing a pilau rice which was a shame.

Food was average but the service was terrible. Waiter was rude, asking "what you want?", and threw the bill on the table at the end. Also the phone kept going off with a really loud and annoying ringtone.

Whole experience was awful - delivery was 2 hours late and when I asked where it was I was shouted at down the phone. Food was very average. Wouldn’t recommend.

Delivery is always on the slow side, but you anticipate that when you order. Food was absolutely top drawer. Generous portions, piping hot and a real depth of flavour.

Have just had one of the best currys in quite a while! Delivered on time, exactly how we wanted it. Succulent freshly cooked chicken. I could taste all the spices. Perfectly cooked!!

Their Slay the Dragon is one the the most delicious things I have ever eaten. I had no idea what the Mushroom Delight was, but it was absolutely beautiful and a real delight to eat. The Meat Samosas are so moreish with the dip. Washed down with the San Anders Merlot was just what the doctor ordered after spending much of the day in hospital. All together, it was light, fantastically seasoned and oh so tasty. Delivery was bang on time, Viceroy certainly know how to prepare, cook and deliver excellent food. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I have been waiting for over an hour and a half and when we called them to ask the person answering the phone was really rude and had a bad attitude when I asked when it was going to take. would not recommend ordering from them. Delivery driver was really nice tho

Delicious food. One small criticism though. I ordered the tandoori mixed grill, but the king prawns were missing. Other than that, it was a delicious meal.

Unexpected service really disgusting

Our usual Indian takeout was closed so gave Viceroy a go. Never again. The curries were tasteless. Mine had so much water I had to pick the chicken out in the end and leave the rice that was now looking like a rice soup. Very disappointed.

Very good food let down by miserable service and warm beer. Not overly busy the waiters hardly engaged and we’re fairly slow, warm bottles of Cobra beer detracted from a tasty end enjoyable meal, shame really because this could be such an excellent restaurant and thronging with a little more attention to detail. The walls brag of Awards from a decade ago and it wouldn’t take much to recreate those Award winning bygone days.

Please try and provide original dishes if you're charging.I see British curry awards nomination until 2014.can imagine why you are not there for the last 10 years.
