The Vault Kitchen in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

We have a B&B in Penzance and have been frustrated by the lack of great places to eat between 2.30pm & 6pm. We need to eat at these times but more importantly our guests do! Delighted to rock up to the Vault Kitchen at 3pm with our dog Elvis today to be met by Lee & Mallery. So impressed with the service and food, happy to wait for obviously fresh cooked food. So impressed with Lee who not only offered great service but also handled a very uncomfortable situation without fuss, Providing ice cream for Elvis despite not having desserts on the menu. We will be back for all the events that Lee marketed. Final note.... Lee questioned our tip as thought we had made a mistake. Lee! You are worth every penny and more x

Found this place by accident and can honestly say it was the best food we had during our stay in Cornwall. Fantastic service and delicious meals! Thanks team! If you’re in the area we’d definitely say this place should be in your list for a visit!

I'll be honest, we didn't get to try the food. It had been a very busy day in Penzance and the Vault were sold out of the menu items we most fancied (big carby dinners after a climbing trip). However, the chap running the place, rather than just apologising or trying to sell us something else, gave us a comprehensive set of alternatives to his venue which would suit our needs. Top class customer service. Thanks. Next time we need a more relaxed and refined evening, we'll try your menu and coffee.

Made this our local during a few days in Penzance. Love the beer garden/sun deck Great choice of food and drinks Live entertainment Friendly staff that know their booze! Great tips for some lovely gins. Chilled out environment

Popped in on a whim on a Sunday afternoon. The bar was wonderfully well presented, the beer and the coffee were both fantastic, the food's definitely it's equal too. The 2 staff were both about as welcoming and friendly as you could ever hope for, so much so I feel the name to say thank you to both Iesha and Lee by name here. They made a great afternoon even better!

THE chessey chips is definitely delicious to eat and the diet is so tasty to drink the staff are friendly and helpful and polite and outstanding and the food is outstanding aswell

I decided to visit THE VAULT as I needed to kill 2 hours before I went to the cinema. As I walked in I was kindly great by a gentleman called Nathan. I asked if they were serving food and he said yes. I sat down and got my drink and food order in. I went with the fish and chips which set me back a very decent price of £7.50. The food came out very quickly to my surprise. It was THE BEST fish and chips I have had in a very long time. The staff was very welcoming and very polite. I would definitely recommend THE VAULT if you want food. Well done keep up the good work

Brilliant place with brilliant friendly staff and the most amazing sun trap terrace in all of Penzance - highly recommend.

Stylish interior, and a cool hipster vibe. Drinks are very expensive. Poor place for live entertainment; acts face the door, and most of the audience has to be sideways and distanced from the act, down towards the back of the long and narrow interior. Most disappointment comes from purchase of a ‘pint’ of beer (of which there aren't many - understandably, given the cocktail orientation). Staff consistently serve far short of pint. The size of the shortfalls are breathtaking, not the least because of how costly the beer is. Seemingly all staff do this, and shamelessly (there’s no visible awkwardness from staff when you’re handed your three-quarters - if you’re lucky - of a pint). It is as if serving ‘partial pints’ is company policy.

We visited on Saturday 16th April with family whilst on our little break in Cornwall. Very clean welcoming restaurant, lovely food and waitress was very friendly, Professional and nothing was a problem. Well done all xxx

Amazing cocktails and 5* service from Ruth and Tristan . Ruth recommended several cocktails and they were amazing so much, that we came back and tried several more! Banter between The north and South kept us laughing 😂

We just popped in this afternoon for a quick drink. My husband just wanted a coffee and they kindly made me a mock tail.it was delicious! The staff were friendly and enthusiastic and the venue is light and airy.

If you're over 25 don't bother, they don't want to know really annoyed with the treatment of us so very dismissive

The menu's are a bit confusing, we are both vegan and gluten free so always on the look out for places that cater for us. The Vault Kitchen has 2 separate menu's one Gluten free and the other Vegan but they don't cross reference one...

Sat outside for a drink, after looking at the food menu decided to order. Drinks were very good and a good selection and all of the food was delicious, even the garnishes were very tasty. Will definitely be returning.
