The Uxbridge Arms in Kensington and Chelsea

I booked a pub quiz in advance for about 60 people. The pub was just brilliant. Really friendly and accommodating. The beer tab that the winning team were given was really the cherry on top of the most superb evening. Truly can't recommend them enough. Excellent attitude all round.

We went we to London with a group of 40 young adults (25-35 y/o) and we booked a private pub quiz at this bar. On Thursday 6th Oct 2022 we booked a pub quiz, and as indicated beforehand, we would join the quiz with 40 people. When we arrived the space reserved for us was way too small to fit in. Only after multiple requests they provides another room for us. Besides, beforehand we agreed upon certain conditions. One of them was that the winning team would be rewarded with a “beer tab”. Unfortunately when the winning team wanted to collect their prize, the barkeeper refused and said he did not know anything about this agreement. I think this is really poor communication within among your team. This is certainly not the way you should do business/make arrangements. In two words: very disappointing. I hope this is a lesson learned. However, @Tony the quiz master: thanks for hosting the quiz. You did a good job. But @pub Uxbridge Arms: your service was really poor and your attitude extremely arrogant. I really regret that I made a booking at your pub and that we have spent so much money at yours. It was definetley not worth it. I would not recommend it to anyone.

This pub was recommended to me as I was on a quest to visit great pubs while visiting from Australia. It lived up to it! I could tell it was a real local's pub and the staff were so friendly. I particularly appreciated talking with Milo about his studies and travels. Can't wait to visit again!

Excellent pub with relaxed,local vibe. Not too crowded anytime I have ever been there. Cask pints and friendly barkeeps are worth the trip!! Also, Definitely not closed, as indicated on TripAdvisor I was there last week.

This place has changed for the better without losing its locals. All due to the new owner and we now frequent there albeit it is our local. Also, our 3 hounds are made to feel very welcome here indeed. So well done.

My doggie, Belle, and I called in for a drink at the Uxbridge Arms.. Lovely little pub in the heart of Kensington/Notting Hill. The feeling of a locals pub. Cosy/friendly/quite special actually - Phillip the Inn keeper is friendly, welcoming, generous and … gorgeous … just saying ! Would definitely recommend

WOMEN - stay away from this pub. I went into this pub for a quiet drink on my own on New Year's Day. I ordered a drink at the bar and then sat down in a side room on my own. After about 10 minutes a white male, grey hair approx age 60 asked two other people if they wanted 'chocolate'. He then turned in my direction and shouted over if I wanted 'chocolate'. I didn't really know what he meant so I politely said that no, I was fine thanks. He came over to me shouting if I wanted chocolate. Then started shouting asking if I was stupid. He kept approaching me and was finally a couple of feet away from me stood over me shouting. The bar staff did not come out from behind the bar to stop him. They just nervously laughed and lamely asked him to leave it. Same with the other two customers. I felt extremely threatened. I didn't know whether he was going to get even closer and make physical contact. Eventually he returned to the bar. A really upsetting experience - both the abuse from this man but also the fact that none of the bar staff moved from their position to move the man away from me. - the above has been reported to the Met Police verbatim. WOMEN - stay away from this pub.

Called in for a quick drink , lovely decor and a friendly efficient lady behind the bar , glad I found this little gem will definitely return

Stumbled Along This Lovely Little Pub While Going For A Jog,Lovely Staff,Great Pints And Atmosphere And They Show Sports Too

I must say the manager & the staff was so friendly & very welcoming. A great place to have a drink also the customers were friendly. A great place to socialise highly recommended for business or pleasure. One of London's best kept secrets. Keep up the good work.

What a great little pub. Been a couple of times and it's lovely. Great real ales and good atmosphere.

Landlady Magda has it all going on here. Real Notting Hill mix of regulars and wierdos! Foodless beer-and-wine spot. great to drop in for a pint

Nice atmosphere and great choice of ales, the decorations for St Patrick was top notch. The staff are fantastic . Highly recommended.

Popped in after an absence of over forty years and it hadn't changed a bit! Still a great, proper pub which survives without food, quite an achievement these days. It has a nice 'local' feel. Very friendly and helpful bar staff who, in the classic manner, listened to all my ramblings without yawning once!
