The Union Regents Place in Camden

What can I say about the fantastic experience we had last week for our wedding reception. Francesca and her staff were unbelievable ! From the moment we arrived they couldn't do enough for us and our guests, drinks were served so quickly that nobody had to wait. Then when the food was served everyone was eating at the same time, and the food was off the scale nice. Everyone in the room commented how good it was! An altogether wonderful day and I can't thank them enough.

I’ve been staying at a nearby hotel for three days due to working in London for training purposes. I found the Union Regents Place online and decided to eat here on my first evening because it had appetising vegetarian options on its menu. I’ve subsequently returned for my last two evenings because the food is delicious (tasty, well-made and wholesome ingredients - which you don’t often find with vegetarian choices elsewhere), the staff are so welcoming and friendly and the venue overall has a great atmosphere. Anybody visiting the area should definitely try this place. Thanks, to the lovely staff (and the chef!).

The food I enjoyed, returning after 2 years, but there are concerns : dirty glasses, cutlery streaked and dull; the wrong order was delivered to the table; one of us had to return it to the staff; the drink was kept on the counter while staff talked to another customer, until I got it from the counter myself; finally overcharged £10 for items not ordered, asked for the service charge to be removed and would pay our choice, the staff was adamant this could not be done, unaware of the Consumer Rights Act, but management agreed it was optional. Please will you give some attention to re-training in customer service. Staff are willing but the above left me unwilling to return.

The food was just as good as any "nice" sit down I've been, and the service was even better. I'd ear here again and again. The halloumi was amazing, their take on fried chicken was surprisingly delicious, the sourdough is flavorful, the battery fish hit the spot. Sticky Toffee pudding... enough said. There were quite a few people having drinks, too.

We had a private event here, and they couldn't do enough to help. Food and drinks were great but most of all the staff were all really nice, would 100% come back!

Really good place to host an event. The staff were really helpful and went above and beyond to make our event successful. The area has some problems with bag thefts so it is worth keeping an eye on belongings.

Great pub but being served a drink in a plastic container is definitely a no from me

Very good food, good price and friendly and efficient service. I ordered the house fish and chips and it was really incredible, perfect cooking and temperature. I highly recommend it.

We ran a private business event at the Union Bar, and it was excellent. Francesca and the team were so easy to work with, the space is multi functional and the food excellent. Highly recommended.

The dj on the (13th july) night were playing some excellent tunes and throwback tracks. The atmosphere was a good vibe and the service was 10/10. It's always a good place to be for after work drinks.

Absolutely Amazing place to be! Fran and all the staff are super friendly and accomodating with great service. Perfect for Lunch, dinner and drinks. Food is delicious and the cocktails are made to perfection. Would highly recommend everyone coming here.

Great venue near work. Lovely at the front in the sunshine. But really nice to get food inside too. Eaten here twice and it’s always been really good. And Sarah is the most attentive and friendly waitress with the most amazing nails. She made my night.

Fomos atendidos muito gentilmente por todos, o Chef Carlos Brasileiro, nos fez sentir em casa, os pratos oferecidos estavam muitíssimo bons, fizemos nossas refeições por 3 dias seguidos. We were served very kindly by everyone, Chef Carlos Brasileiro, made us feel at home, the dishes offered were very good, we had our meals for 3 days in a row.

A super modern bar in Regent Place. The Union does what it says on the tin, sells beer, wine and other things! Venue has been cleared a bit ready for a party tonight. Super service at the bar and a good range of keg beers. Nothing here for the real ale aficionados but plenty of other things to drink. This is a gorgeous place and well worth the price of a beer 🍻!

Had a Christmas meal last night and I can't fault them for making sure my dietary needs were catered for. It meant I had an enjoyable evening without suffering the next day. Thank you.

I go to the Union in every Feijoada & Samba since it started and always loved everything. I worked for 14 years in the same industry and have experience enough to say that the manager yesterday (5th Sep) shouldn't be working with customers. I would have asked her name but the only time that I had to speak with her, she was unpleasant enough, so didn't want to talk to her again. She has a horrible attitude toward customers, very rude and speaking with people with scorn. It's a shame that such an amazing event have someone like her as a manager and I hope she won't be in the next one, as me and my friends didn't feel welcome at all and actually not willing to come back if she is around. I saw her talking not just with customers but with the staff with rudness. Anyway, just want to thank the amazing chef as his Feijoada it's always delicious and he is such a great guy; and the amazing samba group. If wasn't for them, the night wouldn't have been worth it.

This bar is ideally positioned for anyone living, working or commuting near Great Portland Street. Modern spacious bar with outside seating. I arrived here on a Thursday night which was busy (Thursday is the new Friday!) but the staff were not able to cope. Not sure if short staffed or lack of training but either way there was a long wait for drinks. Manager was very apologetic.

Se necesitaba algo rápido antes de nuestra visita al teatro Diorama (al otro lado de la calle), así que volvimos a visitar la Unión. Zumbido a las 6 pm (personal de Dentsu. Aegis?) Y una hora para relajarse. No hay problema. Afortunadamente tenemos un asiento de cabina. . . . . Fuimos por el taco de pollo (10) y nachos de carne (13) y una botella de casa roja. . . . todo delicioso en sabor y buen tamaño de porción. Gran valor también. El personal fue muy servicial entregando servicio y una sonrisa. Gracias de nuevo.

A lovely atmosphere with staff who were present and helpful. Food was good; wine list and beer list extensive. Very full on a Wednesday; deserves to be full all the time.

Nice place to have some pints, tapas and burgers. Excellent food and drinks, with music and nice people working there. Highly recommended!

Oops poor selection of red wines on offer, pretty empty bar, clueless barman ..but the spicy chicken and beetroot food nibbles saved it from a 1 star ...could improve, but I'm in no hurry to dash back as yet.

Nice bar and venue in the heart(ish) of London, bar staff have always been friendly and quick and the drinks aren't insanely priced. A few cocktails on the menu which they can make quickly. There's an outdoor area that's good to cool down and the security on the door are generally friendly. Easy to walk to from either Great Portland St or Warren St stations and lots of bus traffic too.

The perfect venue for 50/50 Salsa Bachata on the 3rd Saturday of every month!

A nice bar. A lively atmosphere. Only ever been for drinks, great location, reasonable prices. Bae can get busy but the queue usually dissapates fairly quickly. Friendly and efficient staff.

The food was good and the staff were friendly. The portion sizes of some of the dishes were a little on the smaller side, but the presentation was good and the staff made us feel welcome.

Great place for afterwork drinks

It is a beautiful venue just off Euston street at street level. Glass panels, french windows, high ceiling, and a good venue for dancing. It has a well equipped bar with polite bar staff.

I was here on Monday evening with 6 friends. We had lovely veggie platters and I had a beetroot and chickpea salad which was really nice. Some of my friends thought their meals were average (falafel burgers were quite dry) but the staff were great, particularly Regina who was really friendly, and the location is really central and close to 2 main stations.

So I go dancing at this place most weeks, they hold salsa events there. The staff are really nice and drinks are reasonable, parking is never to bad here either.

Had a lovely evening at The Union, food wasnt bad, calamari was a tad greasy though and drinks were at a decent price for central London. £8 for a cocktail which is quite resealable given the location. There was a DJ a bit later in the evening which makes it great for a whole evening with friends! Great selection of food from starters to mains and sharing plates! Originally we ordered our food at the bar because none of the servers were around which was slightly annoying but then when they were present they were very friendly! Bar staff were really friendly although I did have to remind one of the staff members about the Prosecco shot that you get along with the Pornstar Martini I ordered which is why I’ve rated the bar at a 3... it wasn’t too busy for the staff member to have forgotten it as they were not rushed off their feet. Contactless didn’t work a few times on the card machines and whilst making the Pornstar Martinis the staff member had a chat for a few minutes- given that the bar wasn’t that busy at the time my partner was surprised how long it took for us to get our drinks.

It's alright... Can be totally overcrowded at times and their food isn't terrible. Staff are too busy attending the crowd at the bar to worry about things like he state of the bathrooms. Bit overpriced but about slightly over the area.

Partied here on Easter Sunday. The event was called Sunday Sauce Easter Bank Holiday and the event was so live. I would definitely be up to attending more events here. Very well organised and the drink prices were very reasonable. Food was served here but I decided to eat elsewhere with friends. Attended for an early Friday work lunch, impressive venue tucked just off Euston road not far from Great Portland Street tube. Modern industrial decor with a large capacity. Food arrived promptly and was excellent Fish and chips was delicious fresh batter and good quality fish. Colleagues had the Burger and the tacos which also looked great. Looking forward to returning to try more. Very reasonably priced for the area.

I have visited The Union a number of times as it is a great place to meet for a few drinks after work with friends. I recently hosted a work party for around 80 people and I have to say this venue is perfect for such events. The communication throughout with one of the staff Massimo was very good and on the day we were given a large space to ourselves and the food and drinks were presented wonderfully. I would highly recommend to anyone. Thanks to all the staff who made the event special :)

Definitely one of my favourite places in London where to spend the weekend's nights, great environment and athmospere with a wide choice of cocktails and wines, good music and vibes for a good bunch of fun every time! Good choice of food too with amazing burgers and juicy tapas. The staff is so friendly and helpful, makes you feel welcome every single time. highly recommended to anybody, I'll see you soon!

Waiting staff are always lovely on a Friday lunch time. Both versions of the Thai curry are good and so are the chicken nachos. :) Up for it crowd of bankers/security staff and e comm peeps on Thursdays and Friday night's. Not ideal for a romantic date, as gets pretty loud with DJ in the bar. Plenty of seating outside front and back.

Right by my work, it’s a great local with good food and drink. It’s only worth going during the week as it’s predominantly filled by people finishing work or at work!

Very nice place to hang out after work for a few drinks. They do have great tapas and DJ. They play various kind of music styles which can be very nice or quite cheesy. But overall very good place to go

Went to a Bacahata social at this venue and it was really nice a spacious. The floor is great for dancing and the bar staff were really friendly. Not very big toilets but it usually was not a long wait.

Updating an older review. Booked in the morning, prior to opening for a very last minute team Christmas lunch. To my surprise the booking was accepted. The place was extremely busy, however we received our food in good time and it was delicious.

I've just spent the afternoon in this hidden gem, only five minutes walk from Warren Street Sation for a Christmas Party. Let's just say the place is very classy, lovely food, lovely atmosphere and it's very clean. Highly recommended for business and meetings. Great value! We hosted a private party for about 120 people at the union and I am amazed by how great the manager and his team were! The manager Elia went above and beyond to ensure we had the beat party. Dinner service was smooth and easy and the bar service quick despite the number of guests. I will recommend having your party here! Everyone loved the party.

Approximately a two minute walk from Great Portland Street Underground station, this is a great place to go if you're middle-aged, and looking for some fun!

I’ve been to there a couple of times over the last few months absolutely loved the vibes, the smiley team members and the great service. It’s a nice place to have drinks especially on thursday and friday when there is the DJ. The food is really tasty as well

I have been at Union last week, I had the chance to try their new tapas menu and I have to say that everything was spot on, from the taste of the food to the competency of the service. Defintely will be back!

Hice una fiesta privada en el Union Regents y quedé muy impresionado. El Gerente de Eventos fue excepcionalmente útil antes del evento para organizar todo y en la noche el personal fue maravilloso. Recomiendo encarecidamente realizar un evento aquí. También es bueno que sea una barra de gasto mínimo en lugar de tener que pagar solo por el alquiler.
