Elegant without being pretentious. Fish was superb, advice on accompaniments perfect; crème brûlée, excellent and of a serving size that anyone fancying a dessert didn't leave hungry. Took my mother for a treat - (didn't let her see the bill).

Great place to chill in comfort without noise. Only had drinks. They also have a lovely conservatory style enclosed outdoor space.

The food was delicious. Damang, the meal was delicious. The smell of the food and the smell of the fresh air were consumed together. The land of the gods☆

Waiting time: don’t expect great food to be in 20mins my starter took 40mins and it was excellent. The servive isnt always amazing and sometimes a bit slow but today my experience was 11/10. Veli is the most attentive waiter to have worked in this place and made a beautiful venue with great food finally a 5 star place with his excellent service. Thank you veli for your polite and attentive service. You are exceptional!

We decided to give the Booking Office our custom to round off our wedding anniversary celebration weekend in London. I have often considered visiting but not done so because of the prices. Also the mainly glowing reviews indicate that this is (supposed to be) a quality establishment. Sadly we have been less than impressed by our experience. We had an hour before our train so planned to order a glass of wine and some picky bits. The pricing of the wine is such that it's actually better money sense to buy a whole bottle, or your options are 125ml glass or 375ml carafe. The first bottle we tried to order of a £42 rioja blanco was not available, so instead we ordered a £52 organic reserva Portuguese wine. In a place as fancy and gorgeous as this you trust that the staff are well trained and have your best interests at heart. So when the waitress eventually brought the bottle of wine over, and we saw it was from the correct winery we accepted the wine. It was only on drinking it, and then further scrutinizing the bottle that we realised we had been served a wine from the correct winery but it was younger, not organic, and not reserva. We raised this politely with the first waiter who came to clear our plates and he got quite flustered, apologised, and never returned. We then raised it with the next waiter who acknowledged that they should not be miss-selling wine and after some consultation with his boss offered us a 15% discount and the option to pay the bill without service charge. Whilst I am glad they did acknowledge the error I feel the 15% discount was them doing the least they could to rectify the issue. It's absolutely not ok for a restaurant, especially one charging the prices they do, to list on their menu a superior product but knowingly serve an inferior one. How many other customers have they pulled this trick on???? As for the food, we ordered truffle and parmesan fries, smoked cods roe and the charcuterie platter. We were informed they had no charcuterie available. The fries were as good as fries can be, but for £11 for a small portion I would expect nothing less! The cods roe was also perfectly fine. The space is absolutely stunning, and the ambiance lovely. It's just a real shame that for us the promise of the Booking Room experience was not met, with out-of-stocks, suspicious miss-selling practices, and less than quality service. Next time, I'll take my patronage elsewhere.

On floor 1 (not floor 0 as it says in the Google Maps directions). This was *such* a wonderful treat! They have zero% alcohol drinks that someone actually cared enough about to make them interesting and delicious! In my experience, most bars don't try very hard to be respectful and make the non-drinkers happy. These folks did it right! Professional and excellent staff. One of the most beautiful places I've ever been, both inside and out. Such a joy to be there.

This was a pretty perfect experience. The food and service were both outstanding and the restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful. They have an accessible toilet and were mega helpful and kind.

Attended for a team business meeting, and we were given a lovely table by the fabulous Olga and Patcha. Food was fabulous, we very much enjoyed our choices.

Hi, I just wanted to send you an email to thank all the staff at the Booking office 1869. My wife and I walk in to your restaurant without any reservation on Saturday evening and the all the staff still welcome us and made us feel very special. Especially our waitress Adriana. After few chat with Adrianna, she ask if what was the occasion of our visit? we responded "we here to celebrate our wedding anniversary". After that, she went above and beyond to make the evening even more special. At the end of our meal she came and offer us some macaroons with Happy anniversary written in chocolate on the plate. Nice touch. The food was amazing, we had the Hummus, the beef tartare, the stone Bass and the risotto. Everything was perfectly cooked and full of flavours. Again, Thank you so much. Kind regards. I ordered salmon it just came with salmon without any vegetables. And they charged little salmon around over £30. The waiters have no undivided attention. She was laughing at something with her colleagues while she was taking my order.

I had a peaceful and pleasant morning here. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, and all the staff were very friendly. The food was quite good as well. Daniel, who made the coffee, impressed us every day with his beautiful latte art. He was very professional, friendly, and served us delicious morning coffee. Highly recommended!

Really great resturatnt for the old school fine dining experience. It's pricy but it's what you would expect in such a place.Great for special occasions, such as celebrating geting ones British Citizenship, which my friend had just done. Service was excellent and the food was very good, and it did fill us up. Would recommend the set lunch menu as its worth the price for about of food you get. The Buttermilk chicken was moist and the spicy mayo was one of the best we had. I got the Scottish Trout that was moist with a crispy skin, and the sause was very rich and creamy. My friend got the Half chicken with risotto which looked small at first but it filled him up, which an empty stomach before hand. The Brownie was ok, not the best I've had and the ice cream melted instantly, but the wine and cocktails where great. They even gave us some macrons celebration by friends citizenship ceremony. Over all recommend coming here for special occasions for the food and atmosphere

What can I say - what an amazing setting for our anniversary lunch. The staff were so lovely and personable- they made us feel like royalty! The food was delicious in every way . We were even given a handwritten card wishing us a happy anniversary! Thank you so much and we will be back x

Blown away by the ambiance. The staff has an incredible sense of service. The food was really good for such a reasonable price given the decor. I had asked the restaurant to help me ask my partner out with a desert message and the restaurant over delivered for no additional costs. ❤️❤️ highly recommended for any special occasion.

Love the Victorian Gothic architecture of this restaurant converted from the actual booking office of the station. Great atmosphere. Busy till late evening in Sunday. Great service. Staff very accommodating as they ran out of pasta and we have a child that only eats pasta, so they went out and source for us. Menu was not too exciting. You will be ok if you like steak. My partner loved the steak Diane We came for Sunday roast (after reading the review in Conde’ Nast) and found out it has finished at 4pm. And live music only on Friday & Saturday. My burger was a bit dry. Stone bass was nice. Interesting cocktail menu. I will come back for drinks but not dinner.

Book Office 1829 is a great spot near St Pancras Eurostar, set in a stunning, old-world British brasserie. The atmosphere is lively, almost like a nonstop machine, but the food is fresh, well-prepared, and the service impeccable. Nothing groundbreaking, but it delivers at a fair price. This was one of my most important nights of my life, and the Booking Office 1869 made this moment in time an evening I will cherish until the day I die. Well worth finding this place which is actually accessed from inside the hotel. A magnificent building, great atmosphere and service. We just had drinks. Rather pricey but it is a very special place to be in so worth it for a special occasion. Loved this place and hope to find another reason to visit.

It’s my second time here and I love the atmosphere of this restaurant, I could stay here all day. The food was nice and came quick, not much of a selection of soft drinks but they did have some nice mocktails. Staff are kind and attentive. I will be back again

Very nice, pleasant, luxurious restaurant. For a reasonable price, we are in London, this luxurious hotel restaurant with an 1800-1900 feel. We were very warmly welcomed to the cossi corner. Obviously it's not cheap, but the quality of the dishes, the service and the setting. It's very good value for money.

Wonderful location! The service was also very good. We just had a drink. It was not overly expensive, despite the beautiful location, and we were spontaneously given tap water. A very stylish British lunch restaurant, located in a station area. The food is of a high standard. Coupled with its decoration and atmosphere, it makes you feel happy and relaxed. I called Zuo's medium dry-aged steak, which I think is the best steak in Europe. I also called Zuo's London light, both of which tasted good. There are not many people and the price is a bit expensive, but they are all worth recommending.

The staff checked in on us every 10 minutes, which was attentive but occasionally a bit too frequent. The only downside? The drinks are quite expensive, which is why I’m knocking off one star. The F&B manager at the hotel in which the Booking Office is one of the restaurants runs a first class team and he (Sangram Shinde) is an excellent leader of a motivated team that go beyond expectations to make it a wonderful experience! All the staff were wonderful.

Tengo membresía de Titanium status Marriott, con más de 60 noches acumuladas en 2024 y 6 ya en lo que va de año. Gracias por apreciar mi lealtad. Gran bar, hotel bastante horrible (se alojó allí una vez y nunca más: cansado, frío y un edificio no remotamente adecuado para un hotel del siglo XXI en una ciudad importante) pero previsiblemente, sin formación y personal indiferente. Estos lugares sobreviven solo por el peso de los transeúntes / pisada casual y el personal mal pagado que no podría importarle menos si regresa o no.

A very grand hall with a great atmosphere. The staff were friendly and quickly seated us (we had booked). Good wine. Fabulous lunch, my beef was superb. There was a generous portion of perfectly cooked vegetables. Dessert was tasty.

The food was delicious, service amazing BUT there were mice running across the dining area in the evening whilst we dined. Embarrassed staff offered us another table but there were a few mice in different places (huge beautiful dining room). They really should invest in pest control and a cat ! Shame as the food was superb and staff wonderful. Such a beautiful setting top, very luxurious.

Love this bar. Beautiful interior, fantastic drinks and fabulous service. Love sitting at the bar on my own or with friends. Really love it when I have time to spare and get to get some oysters as well.

The place is stunning and the staff are friendly, but the quality and quantity of the food is abysmal for the price. The picture shows the 25 quid "YORKSHIRE" charcuterie "board". No bread, no butter, chutney or anything to go with a cheap supermarket ITALIAN cured meat selection. And the rest was equally meh. It is not "posh" or high quality, it is just a trap for the new rich and for wannabe business people.

The service was first rate but this was because the Italian lady front of house was first rate and made us feel so very welcome and special without overdoing it. I don't think I've ever had such good service. We had privacy for conversation and the food was very good (if a little on the cold side by the time it got to us). Presentation was great and the flavour was very good. Decor was beautiful. Soap in the toilet was very good which is something that can sometimes let a place down. That sounds silly but if soap scent is horrible it can linger and be off-putting when eating.

The Booking Office 1869 is a great place for a "fancy" drink or coffee with friend near St Pancras: it's a bit hidden in the station but once you enter, the place is huge with different areas (bar, different booths, indoor terrace, outdoor terrace). The atmosphere is amazing: a warm and elegant vibe with tall arches, and soft golden lighting, feels like being in a different era. The service is very good, although a bit long to get attended. On the pricey end but I don't mind for a bit of glamour sometimes.

This was a nice relaxing meal as the music was chill and the lighting was dimmed. We shared the hummus, corn ribs and chicken between 4 of us and it was lovely especially the hummus and corn ribs ! When we got our main it did take a long time and the food was cold but our kind server sent it back and it came back hot which was good and then after that they kindly gave us different desserts on the menu to try for the inconvenience which they didn’t have to do and then as it was our birthday they gave us an extra dessert too which was so lovely and a big shout out to our Greek waiter as he was really nice and helpful !! 💓 I recommend the crème brûlée, corn ribs, hummus and the baileys dessert 🤩

When I came in, I was wearing an oversized black coat that may have made me look not that nice but inside my clothes were fine, the host at the entrance judged me and didn't want to seat me, after inviting he gave me the furthest table in the corner saying there are reservations but the entire place in the middle was empty for the duration I was there. The lady who served me was very very nice. Place is stunning but shocked by the service therefore the low star.

Really great food with generous portions:huge fried fish sandwich! Recommend the Sgroppino cocktail. A bit of theatre with ginger sorbet topped with champagne. Delicious too. The room is beautiful; quiet luxury. What made the difference however was the member of staff who made such a fuss of our 18 month old granddaughter. She absolutely loved him and so did we! Thank you.

A wonderful venue - amazing decor - and considering where it is, not outrageously expensive. The starters and desert were delicious and the aubergine main course was unusual and very much enjoyed by my friends. My trout was a bit disappointingly tasteless. I will definitely return.

Stumbled by accident,.as both myself and family were looking around St Pancras, it was early morning and we noticed people eating breakfast, I asked of we.needed to.pre book but they explained minimum spend 25.00 could have a table in the central area, we agreed. We had silver service, immaculate clean, beautiful vintage space, staff were excellent friendly,.proffesional and good sense of humour but.keeping proffesional at the same time..The food,.we went with a fruit salad, small.fried breakfast, I have to say, I have ate in many cafes,.restaurants some 4 and 5 star, I have never enjoyed my breakfast as I did this day. It was cooked beautiful, fresh and well sourced ingredients, presented lovely, hot, all the complimentary salt and pepper,.jams available. I will certainly call again , both myself and family felt so relaxed and rested following our trip to your restaurant. 10.our of 10. Lovely,.well.worth the money.

This is a beautiful restaurant in a lovely well restored hotel and for that it is worth a visit. I would note however it is quite dark at night with very low lighting and odd tables. The food was fine - nothing special and as you will see from the menu pretty expensive. Service is a bit weak too.

The space is lovely and the staff very friendly. Food was delicious but the mains portions are very small. Drinks are extremely expensive so we ended up with a bill of £115 for two with starters and sharing a main. A glass of Chablis was £17... So very nice place but in my mind, way too expensive.

Shamefully didn’t take any photos sadly, but was on a meal business dinner just prior to Christmas with one of our supplies who took the effort to come down and see us in London. So, me being tasked with finding a nice place to have dinner near King’s Cross, this was in the perfect spot accessible via the grand platforms of St. Pancreas which certainly sets the upmarket theme. The ambience and atmosphere is quite exquisite, nicely lit with these classic tall ceilings, the stunning illuminated bar all nicely balanced with pot plants. Obviously depending on the time you come here, but it’s hard to not notice London’s hustle and bustle vibing here for cocktails and drinks either before or after a business trip. There’s different menus throughout the day/week and even seasonal and special menus depending on the time of year, not forgetting a Sunday Roast menu too. Booking for dinner, the menu isn’t massive, which isn’t a bad thing. Better to be small and selective and specialise right? But does have enough to suit most people’s tastes with a limited selection for vegans. There’s items from the grill, sharing starters like cured meats, oysters and olives among others with a selection of mains including pasta and fish dishes. I myself going for the Cashew Hummus to start and the Booking Office Cheeseburger which comes medium with smoked bacon and their own sauce. Not forgetting a pairing dessert menu which is always good to see. There’s a large range of spirits, malt whiskeys and cocktails to be had with crafted selected ales and beers. Booking is recommended and was fine to do online. Sadly two of our party had to drop out last minute but they were very accommodating and even allowed us to stay a little more beyond our time, but do expected to be moved if very busy and been allotted a time slot. The service is amazing, especially if you get to meet the Italian chap there who is such a character, he certainly makes your visit memorable. (Forgive me as I didn’t get your name! - we wasn’t paying so didn’t see the receipt). But all the staff were attentive, knowledgeable and more than happy to help. Ideal for a date night, small gathering or business visit, but do expect it to be a little on louder side during peak periods.

Whenever I’m in London, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit for me. The service is flawless, with attentive and friendly staff who make you feel genuinely welcome from the moment you walk in. Such a nice lunch while waiting for the Eurostar. Luggage taken care of. The House Martini was just perfect, so the cod roe and as main the chicken pasta. So good! So nice!

Expected much better. Very average roast with a hefty price tag. Had to ask for salt & pepper, napkins, adequate gravy, someone to take our coats. Not really good enough to be honest. London has a lot of top-notch Sunday roasts on offer and this is not one of them. That being said, clueless tourists will probably love it and post gushing reviews...

After my awful experience with the Hansom the evening before at Renaissance hotel I wasn’t very much looking forward to the breakfast I had booked as a treat for my partner and I to end a wonderful Christmas vacation. I couldn’t have been more wrong, such a lovely welcome from lady on front of house, our waiter and servers were so polite, charming and engaging. The breakfast, the ambiance and surroundings were amazing, such a lovely way to end a holiday before getting the train home. Look forward to coming back.

Light snacks at the Booking office, Renaissance at St Pancras. Beautiful building and decor. Only had the cashew houmous because got there quite late so the oysters and tartare wasn't served. Visually saw someone have the tartare which looked good with all those dark trompette mushrooms on top. Will return.

Fabulous restaurant with good vegetarian options. Accessed directly from St Pancras station, it has an incredible high ceiling with walls restored to their original 1869 design, and trees inside the restaurant. The menu is good with options for vegetarians, and wide variety of meats. Staff were very attentive, knew their menu well and were able to suggest options based on our preferences. Highly recommend that you book in advance.

Beautiful venue with lovely lighting, and the staff were polite. Unfortunately the breakfast was poor - Avo on toast with poached eggs, but the toast was just bread, and the avocado was simply a half an avocado on the side of the plate. No lime, chilli, or any other flavours, it was beyond bland and boring. Wildly basic and £16 plus service! Won’t return unfortunately.

It’s a very lovely atmosphere to sit in. Our waiter was kind and cheerful but due to not enough staff, long waits to order and getting our drinks. My biggest disappointment was the £24 charcuterie board! Limp presentation and very little content! Next time we will walk to Coal Drops Yard where the atmosphere is matched and better quality food.

I am a Marriott Bonvoy Member. I booked the Lunch Set Menu (3 Courses for £35) from Marriott.com website. Apparently they have stopped doing this offer a couple of months ago!! It’s False Advertising by DECEPTION!! No Apology or anything of the sort by Anyone!! The Staff Couldn’t Care Less!! Waiter/Steward: (Mr) Tzouliano was Utterly CLUELESS about the Food in the menu!! Anyway we had to wait nearly 45minutes for our Food. Cheeseburger: was pretty basic Rump Steak: Ordered Medium Well; but Arrived Rare-Bleeding!! Absolute Ripoff/Daylight Robbery!!

My family and I came to the Booking Office for Christmas lunch to change up our traditions, it was the best decision we made! The food, the service, the vibe, everything was amazing beautiful and fantastic. It is a must for everyone to experience it at least once to get into the Christmas spirit, the service and care they put into making sure the guests have a great time is amazing and they keep an eye on your glasses of water to make sure you are happy! Our server was an amazing, an Italian man who made the experience so much better he was so lovely and chatty and made sure we was happy and comfortable! Wish I knew how to spell his name so here’s a picture of him instead! 10/10 would recommend. It is abit on the pricy side however the price speaks to how amazing it is! The detail I just can’t explain!

Fabulous as ever. Oysters, tartare, English Sparkling and the Laurent were all beautiful. Oh and the complimentary house cocktail = nicely done.

Excellent setting and the service is lovely. The roast dinner was nice, the meat particularly was great but the vegetable/trimmings selection could have been better. It was a bit plain.

This is such a great place to quietly enjoy a drink, breakfast or anything else. The staff was extremely nice, especially Olga who is so welcoming. We never felt pressured to leave, yet we were always asked if we needed anything else. Even when the kitchen closed, one of the managers organised some bread for my friend. Will definitely come back!

Wonderful place extraordinary architecture and environment. Very friendly staff. The food was very good, close to 5 star just my steak was a little tough, but otherwise nothing to complain about.

Had an amazing dining experience at The renaissance, Booking office 1869. The Cashew Hummus and Beetroot tartare were bursting with flavor, and the buttermilk fried chicken was perfectly cooked and indulgent. No doubt about Cacio e pepe tortellini was the star. Special thanks to Mr. Sangram shinde for making our dinner more enjoyable and memorable. Our waiter Rossario was so friendly and offered us special delicious Birthday dessert that ended the meal on a high note. And of course Ms.Lena for taking out time from her busy day and guided us towards the famous grand stairs. Best wishes to all the team. Will definitely return!

Our first visit & thoroughly impressed from the minute we arrived & were greeted front of house. The setting is excellent, a warm relaxing atmosphere in the old station with its high vaulted ceilings. Service was excellent & as I am The Winefan I was impressed with the wine list and the option to enjoy good wines by the glass or carafe. We chose 1/2 dozen oysters, followed by roast beef & creme brulee, all accompanied with wine, of course. Highly recommend and will certainly go back for the food, service and wine

We had an excellent Sunday lunch, the building is impressive and the atmosphere sophisticated. The service was brilliant from the minute your were greeted. Very good wine selection which was a bonus for me. First rate Sunday lunch, Oysters followed by Beef and Creme Brulee dessert with good wines. Staff were friendly and wanted to serve - we will certainly be back

We booked a Sunday roast and we weren't disappointed. I had the chicken and my husband the beef. Everything was very tasty and yummy. The atmosphere and decoration is very impressive and Instagram worthy. Very beautiful and fancy. Though, I thought the price of the Sunday roast was quite expensive for what it was. It is more for big occasion.
