Muy buen ambiente y buena sensación. Sin embargo, la comida no coincidía con el nivel de precios. El ojo costal era de buena calidad pero cero costuras. Definitivamente no valía la pena el alto nivel de precios.

Lovely setting. Good food. Unfortunately, our breakfast main course arrived before we had finished our, generous, fruit salads. I had the impression that coffee involved free refills. This may apply to regular Americano, but I had decaf & my wife had both. Our coffee bill was steep.

I used to be a big fan of the Gilbert Scott bar, and I was hoping the Booking Office would carry on the tradition. I have tried to go three times and each time the concierge has ignored me or wandered off. Now I get a sort of Groundhog Day feeling whenever I consider stopping by. Strangely Searcy's, just down the road, presumably under the same management, doesn't have these issues.

I want to preface this with saying me and my husband worked in the service industry for 10 years, we are very chill go with the flow customers. I have never made a review before but I felt like this needed to be at least expressed in some way. The decor and look of the restaurant is amazing and the food was very good however the service was not what we expected for how much we spent. When we got there out we were greeted by an extremely friendly person at the host stand who made note that we made the reservation and stated it was our honeymoon, he was excited for us and we were in general excited about it being our honeymoon. We were seated and didn’t receive any service for around 20 minutes, which we laughed off but were a little confused. Once a waiter came over she was amazing but we discovered by observation that where we were seated was not her section. Our actual waiter, Lazario, then switched back to our section and our waiter. He was aloof and seemed to blame the table confusion on us. He never came to ask how our food was and never filled our waters without being prompted to by another employee or by one of us. The tables around us were checked in on by those who looked like shift leads or managers but no one came to check on us or ask how we were doing. The cherry on top was as we were leaving. We were waiting behind a large group of seven women who were being helped at the host stand by a man who appeared to be a manager. He was very happy and jovial with the group helping them get their table but when it came to helping us his demeanor changed. We told him we just needed to pick up our luggage, and that another employee had put in their luggage closet. We were handing him the bag check ticket and he, in a very annoyed tone, went “what is this”. He did retrieve our bags but we again were not asked how our experience was, and were met with short and harsh service. We went in excited and happy to be ending our honeymoon at Booking Office 1869 but the service fell short for us getting drinks, a starter, appetizer, two entrees and two desserts.

I came in here on a Tuesday night to get a drink and do a little work, whilst waiting for a train. I was unceremoniously told that laptops were not allowed. I decided to leave, as the only other option was to move to the lobby area in the hotel, a completely different space away from the bar. In all honesty, I would probably avoid this bar for the foreseeable, even though I am a regular visitor to St. Ps - the staff weren't exactly "friendly" this time and if I'm not allowed to sit in the corner, answer a few emails, whilst nursing a pint, well, there are other places in St. Ps just as nice that can offer me that option.

We called in here before catching a train back to the East Midlands. As we hadn't made a booking we were seated at a shared table. The bar/restaurant is very dimly lit. Some might call it atmospheric. A round of 4 alcoholic drinks was approx £60 so it's not cheap. If you have an hour to spare before catching a train it's a nice place to kill an hour plus the toilets are lovely.

This place is truly magical. I love how they’ve transformed the old train booking office into a stunning bar and restaurant. After a long day of shopping, I decided to unwind here, and from the moment I walked in, I was transported into a world of old-school glamour. The hostess was attentive, the waiters were incredibly knowledgeable, and the cocktails—absolutely out of this world. I had the pleasure of meeting the manager, Artan, who made sure every guest was receiving 5-star service. His attention to detail, charisma, and warm personality made me feel like an old friend. Artan recommended a few snacks to accompany my drink, and they were so good that I ended up staying for dinner. I truly didn’t want to leave! Highly recommended! I can’t wait to come back.

The Booking Office 1869 in London is a visually stunning restaurant with an interior that captures the elegance of Victorian design. However, my recent experience there was far from satisfactory. Despite the promising ambiance, I found myself waiting an excessively long time to be served. Unfortunately, the service was so slow that I eventually decided to leave without having eaten anything. While the decor is undoubtedly impressive, the poor service overshadowed what could have been a delightful dining experience. Improvements in service efficiency are essential to match the grandeur of the setting. I will give this place another chance however when I’m in the local area again.

The menu offer some dishes with some interesting ingredients mix, which kinda blends together but leaves a weird but satisfying taste. I think the menu was a bit boring so I was pleasantly surprised that the vegetarian burger I ordered was tasty and delicious, very filling but not to heavy. I HIGHLY commend the Kiwi mousse with citrus and rosemary! Like I said, interesting mixed of flavour that's leaves a weird and satisfying taste. Alex our host/waiter was excellent and knowledgeable, and despite being busy offered a great service. Personally perhaps it was where we were seated but personally it was to dim for me. A very stylish British lunch restaurant, located in a station area. The food is of a high standard. Coupled with its decoration and atmosphere, it makes you feel happy and relaxed. Food wasn't bad but not differentiated enough from say Fallow or J SHeeky to command the prices they were charging (I get it - location). The cocktails were really good (Industry and Ol Signalman) but it looks forever to get cocktails out unless you were sitting at the bar. We went one night for dinner and drinks and another night for just drinks. The second night, it was impossible to get our waiter to pay attention to us so I had to go up to the hostess to get help. The Booking Office is a fantastic location, part of the historically significant Grade I listed St. Pancras International Station. Their web site says ‘Old World European Charm meets the dry wit of London’. This captures the essence of the location. We went for dinner on a July Saturday evening. For main I chose the Chalk stream trout with Caper & raisin puree, cauliflower & radish, opting for the Koffman’s truffle & Parmesan fries with Black truffle, oregano & garlic to accompany. The trout was perfectly cooked, the fries with just the right amount of truffle to taste. For dessert my selection being the Crème Brûlée with a perfect topping of a layer of hardened caramelized sugar. Our waitress was always most attentive. Water offered on arrival whilst we decided what to eat. The food arrived in a timely manner. The atmosphere of the location has a vibrancy of people enjoying themselves in a most relaxed location. Having visited the Booking Office frequently for many years, on this visit we discovered the fabulous rooftop terrace. With comfy seating, blankets if you’re cold & sectioned off areas for a cosy feel, it is a little hidden gem. We were looked after very well by Gabriela. The only criticism is that for the price of a ‘spritz’ (Aperol & Campari) at £17 each, I would expect a proper balloon glass full, not a small wine glass. This was a shocking & a bit cheeky. Everywhere else we had visited throughout the day served a regular spritz size. They also only have one type of lager or beer. Apart from the slightly disappointing drinks experience, we had a lovely visit & will certainly return.

Food and drinks are okay, environment is very nice. Service is seriously poor… nobody came to serve me after 10 mins sitting. Everything comes in so slowly… I don’t know if it’s racist or something else, however, while I was not served properly, the waitress were joking and having fun with the table next to me where two British gentlemen sit. Btw I’m an asian girl traveling here. When I pay the bill, I saw the 12.5% service charge on bill and I decided to pay less, given the service I received. I asked the waiter what this fee is and if it’s optional, surprisingly, he said it’s mandatory… excuse me? I had more than one dinner in London now and everywhere else they told me it’s optional. I asked again, are you sure it’s mandatory? I think it’s optional… He then changed and said it’s optional. I know I carry all the tourist bags and I don’t look like local, but it’s not the reason to fool me. I ended up still paying 8% for tips showing my gratitude of receiving the food and service, but honestly, this is such a disappointing experience and I would never come here for second visit.

Overall great experience and we will be back. Highly recommend.

This is probably one of the most instagrammable restaurants I have been - perfect atmosphere for a special occasion date. Food was okay - not magnificent but I suspect not a lot of people, if any, go for food itself.

We booked a Sunday roast and we weren't disappointed. I had the chicken and my husband the beef. Everything was very tasty and yummy. The atmosphere and decoration is very impressive and Instagram worthy. Very beautiful and fancy. Though, I thought the price of the Sunday roast was quite expensive for what it was. It is more for big occasion.

It was our first Sunday Roast and we wanted it to be in a special place. We chose the Booking Office 1869, located inside the Renaissance Hotel since 2021, that is inside the St Pancras Station, for its ambiance and charm. High ceilings, predominance of wood and plants, and old furniture inspired decoration, make it also a time travel, but with gorgeous taste. In terms of menu, they do get the classics, but you'll find a modern influence as well, specially in terms of starters. We tried the Sunday Roast: - 30 day dry aged sirloin, with horseradish cream - roasted corn fed chicken, with sourdough bread sauce Both of high quality and great selection of meat. I believe I was more surprised by the chicken - very tasty, crispy, and juicy. Both dishes were served with braised red cabbage, perfectly roasted potatoes, carrots and parnship (which were my personal favourite) and yorkshire pudding. If you're looking for a sunday roast outside of the most common routes of the pubs, this might be a great idea. Price - £43/per person (Sunday roast + sparkling water, no desert, no starters)

One of the best roasts I've ever had. I went for their closing day, and I am so sad I won't be able to have this meal again. The head chef is amazing - there was a selection of 10 different roasts to choose from, all within reasonable price £23-28 considering how big the portion was. The service was equally great! We spent a reasonable amount, considering we all had a roast, a drink and a dessert each!

I had an especially excellent experience here! My first time trying Itsu, and I didn’t know how it worked or what to order. Raazi went above and beyond by helping me to customise my order to my needs! I didn’t know how the self service worked and also had dietary preferences with which he assisted me with no hesitation! Great service thank you :)

This is such a beautiful hotel, the interior is so beautiful and the Christmas decorations were amazing. Although we only stayed for one night it was an amazing experience, the staff made us feel very special. They were all so friendly and welcoming. We will be back
