Visited troll cart week ago must say used to be lovely hot breakfast but Now I have poached eggs and toast stone cold when arrived had it before and same told people but nothing was achieved might have to consider going elsewhere unless it changes

We came here just for dinner. Lovely fresh chicken and bacon salad. And my partner had the boneless basket with salad. Quick service, the food came within 15 minutes of ordering through the app. The venue is fully wheelchair accessible and has an accessible toilet. Unfortunately this was left open (radar key usually needed for it) and everyone was using it. When I went in there it was a mess, the seat and floor were soaked. The accessible toilet definitely needs to be monitored better as as a person with a disability, it's not pleasant having to use a toilet in that state. That was out only issue, other than that our experience in this Weather spoons was fine.

Very busy as expected on a Friday night. Ordered two pizzas which were fantastic. Lots of toppings. Staff rushed off their feet so unable to keep the tables clear and tidy. Bit cramped with all the tables but overall a nice meal

Well once again a spoons has lived up to expectations. Arrived at 1.45 meal in front of us by 2pm. Staff very polite real ale selection very nice food cooked bang on and hot... well done

Be careful when ordering from the Wetherspoons app. I ordered a pint of Leffe and when it was bought to the table it was poured to nowhere close to a pint. When I complained they told me that “once it’s left the bar, they are not allowed to top it up”. None of the staff including the person that bought the drink over could get it into their head that it hadn’t been filled properly in the first place. So I got a full refund as I am not paying for a pint and getting nothing like it. Is it a coincidence that they pour short measures on their most expensive pint? I don’t think so.

One star for the beer it wasn't bad! We foolishly ordered 2 hamburgers, we didnt expect much & we got less! these were as tough as Charlie Chaplin's boot leather dry and tasteless. The table we cleared the mess to the window shelf where it remained after we left! A coffee shop or anywhere next time we wait for our bus home.

Called for a drink with my disabled friend bank Holiday Monday. My friend has a scooter and we parked it just past the side door out of the way. A staff member came and asked us to move it. I said OK but where to? She said near coffee machines. So we got customer's to move tables etc to enable us to do that. Staff member came back said you can't leave it there! I replied look I've had enough now where do you want us to put it? She said well leave then, go! To which I replied do you not want customer's? She said not customer's like you!!! We had our drinks and left. Disabled people look out that particular lady staff member goes not accommodate disabled people which is law! I will be taking this further! So rude, so oblivious to tte needs of disabled people's problems.

Worst place I yarmouth, filthy tables uncleared 25 min wait at the bar order food on app took even longer. Seriously bad customer service

Rude staff. Very unprofessional.place is dirty ..staff seem very stupid and hadn't a clue what they were doing or talking about .worse weather spoons ever .

We had earlier today tried to get a seat but the pub was heaving, so returned an hour later and managed to grab a recently vacated but still dirty table. We ordered off the app, whilst hoping, in vain it seemed, that a member of staff might notice and clear the table. Our beers arrived and the staff member removed some of the, many, plates from the table. We, naturally, thought she would come back for the rest but no, she completely avoided us. A fellow staff member removed the empty glasses but studiously avoided the crockery! Now, we appreciate the pub was busy, but to expect customers to sit amongst a stack of dirty crockery seems a bit remiss! My wife then cleared the table herself and placed plates on the bar, which were still there 30 minutes later. Why, oh why, cannot Wetherspoons train their staff to pick up plates etc as they pass tables, instead of walking around empty handed? Mr Martin, please train your staff!

Lovely food and as always, a great atmosphere. But unfortunately very rude staff on our most recent visit. Broken coffee machine and staff were unhelpful and unfriendly. We struggled to get a different member of staff to help us. Eventually we found a nice lady to help us. Both machines were out of order but a lot of staff were standing around talking. Would like to return but hope to be treated better next time.

Visited here for some lunch as there didn't appear to be any local cafes nearby that sold anything apart from fish & chips. Pretty busy for a wet Thursday afternoon but still plenty of free space. Ordered on the app, the food arrived quickly & the staff were pleasant. Definitely worth a visit.

Been here a few times it’s been ok. But today I visited with my mum and nanny and really weren’t too happy atall. The staff are moody and abrupt. Lady serving our food was really grumpy and kept rolling her eyes the slightest inconvenience. Don’t like your job get a different one!

We went for lunch todat but unfortunately we didn't realise that dogs weren't allowed as we had been on numerous occasions with our dog and many other dogs were allowed at the front. The manager in charge treated us like criminals we are in our sixties he sent us of and another elderly couple out the front I have never been treated like this before his manner was so rude . We just feel it could of been handled a lot nicer

This was a decent spoons, drinks were decent when they came, took longer than I expected using the App. Food was decent but portions seemed a little smaller than they used to be. Decent food, decent price shame about the portion sizes and drinks taking so long to come from The bar.

The Troll Cart is a large JD Wetherspoon's pub (& hotel) not too far from the Great Yarmouth seafront. It's actually one of the better pubs in town as far as the healthy guest ales range and the outside seating area (on the back, with immediate access to Regent Road) are concerned. Food of course is JDW 1-0-1, streamlined food at cheap prices. Service can be perfunctory and chaotic during peak times, and instead of standing in line at the bar it's advisable to order your drinks and food from the Wetherspoon app. That said, the "beer garden" is spacious and really nice. And the cask selection can be better than the one at more specialized cask ale pubs in town (which are few and far between), at lower prices. Worth a visit.

Having had an enjoyable stay here last year we visited here just after lunch time and was lucky to get a booth table,asking the lady if she could clean the remnants of the last peoples food squashed into the table she merely gave it a little wipe,not cleaning it well so we did it ourselves,drink and food service to the table was really good and the snacks were great,it just looks unclean in there and maybe a lick of paint to bring it up to some other weatherspoons ive visited

Had 3 traditional breakfasts, porridge and 4 unlimited drinks all for around £25. Tasted great, staff were friendly

The troll cart is a great pub, but, what is wrong with the staff. They seem to huddle together at the tills, ignore customers, don't clean the tables and just seem to be lazy. To add to this they walk in eating food and drink from other establishments.

Came here with my mum and dad to enjoy a nice meal out. Most tables and seats were filthy and full of food so my mum had to take other peoples plates and drinks back herself. Staff were lazy and careless in my opinion. Had one waitress “clean” our table by wiping off all of the crumbs into the seats. Food was brought out which was great because there was no more than a half hour wait but it was cold. Asked the waitress if we could get any sauces and she said “you have to get it yourself” without even telling us where we can get it. Dad finished his meal just to find a lovely hair in it! Had to change my glass too as it had somebody else’s smudged lipstick on it as well as many finger prints and lots of dust. May as well take your plates up to the bathroom because it’s a lot nicer than the eating area. Extremely disappointed and will not be eating here again.

One of our meals came out wrong, the waiter took out plate but the family on shift manager quickly returned it saying that she was unwilling to remake the burger without mayo in it, even after we explained that it was due to an intolerance, as we had ordered via the app (we ordered it without mayo as there was an option to remove it) but told that we were wrong about this, and that if we wanted a burger without mayo then we would have to pay for the entire meal again. She was incredibly rude to the entire table and ruined what was meant to be a nice family day out!

Ordered a chicken strip burger via app, selected no mayo. Got delivered chicken strip burger with mayo, spoke to lady in green top, she said can't offer to exchange for new one as app doesn't give you the option to take away and should of ordered at bar. She was rude, not helpful. I get mistakes are made, to replace just the bun without mayo would of been ok with us, not the embarrassment of looking stupid infrount of other guests for their mistake when clearly "no mayo" was selected. Food was left and uneaten.

The Troll Cart is a Wetherspoons and is what it is, good food at good prices. The staff are all helpful and friendly and the tables are cleared and cleaned very quickly. Service is very fast and the food is very good although we did notice the prices were higher than our local Wetherspoons.

Ridiculous rules!!!My family and I sat at one of the tables outside the pub We had our 2 small dogs with us so knew we wouldn’t be allowed insideI was I. The process of ordering our drinks on the Wetherspoon app when a woman working for the pub came and told me that dogs weren’t allowed if you was sitting at the tables. I could not believe what I was hearing as the tables are literally outside the pub on the street and not in a private beer garden or similar. I cancelled the drinks order and we went and found a pub were dogs were welcomed.

Compared to other pubs in Great Yarmouth, The Troll Cart was very very busy. Had to be very patient to get a table at 6pm in the evening. Once sat food and drinks were ordered from the app and arrived ina timely fashion.Its a wetherspoons so it fulfilled its job of cheap drinks and good value food.

Saturday evening and it was busy. Used the App to order drinks and meals for four of us. Lightning fast service and once again no complaints. Just love their chips! Lol. I did notice that people was Q'ing for the bar in a 'proper' way. No, 'Who's next' and people pushing in. Hope they keep this up after covid crap! Staff very polite and on their toes. Once again Wetherspoons hits the mark! Thanks.

On our first night in Great Yarmouth and not yet familiar with the town we opted for a "Spoons" and glad we did. A big modern pub with hotel above slap bang in the centre of town. Fabulous choice of beers at great prices, a good menu. Really Decent pub grub at more than very reasonable prices.

Just walked out, I get it’s a bank holiday and it’s busy! But to walk in stand at a dirty table and be talked about between staff so we can hear!!! a blonde women taking out the food with a bloke, the table may have been clean nearer the door but for one it was cold near the door and secondly we didn’t want to sit there! Was was happy to wait until she said “ I’m too busy to clean tables”!!!! Just so rude!!! We were completely ignored!

Food was luke warm,the sausages were like leather,customer service appalling had to go and ask for butter....the tables were filthy,the only plus were the toilets upstairs.theyare lovely,would have preferred to eat in them.

I found staff were Abit over worked. Visited on two occasions last weekend. Again tables were not cleared and ashtrays not empied. Food and value yes but tables not cleared or cleaned for next customer a shame really....

We stayed in Great Yarmouth for 5 days recently and went to Wetherspoons every night. The wine was excellent and always cold. I found the food excellent especially the pizzas and the madras curry.I was surprised to see reviews about rude staff on here as I found the staff to be very courteous and extremely helpful even when they were rushed off their feet. Kenny was extremely pleasant and hard working. Don’t think I will be back in Yarmouth anytime soon but I would go back to this pub if I was in the area

After arranging a meeting with a close friend who had recently lost everything, we sat outside as we have 2 rescue dogs , training to be therapy dogs .. not assistant dogs may I add … we enjoyed our drink outside on the main strip (basically in the road which does not belong The troll cart. Suddenly the heavens opens and the rain fell , we sheltered in entrance between the 2 doors , but was told we have to move , then when we pointed out we’d purchased alcohol from them ,they said.. “ we don’t allow dogs outside either , as they are not Assistant dogs !” I pointed out they where not Asbo dogs either ,(cavalier King Charles spaniels from Many Tears rescue in wales , under training to become therapy dogs for Keech children’s Hospice ). Was told we need to leave immediately. I wonder how the last lady who asked us to leave the foyer immediately , sleeps at night , clearly the Troll Cart motto is not “Be Kind” even though the lady who asked us to leave “immediately” had an exemption lanyard . Kindness does not extend to this place .

Me and my sister came for a holiday Monday to Friday and we couldn't fault it; the room was loveley, it was modern and especially clean. Even though breakfast is not included for the price in wetherspoons you can't complain. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone else.

Went this morning 22/07/21 for a coffee with my partner and very small,well behaved dog, I got coffee and my partner got a pint, sat outside as it was sunny and we had our dog, half finished our drinks for the rude waitress came out to say that we are not allowed to be there as we had our dog......we were outside on a public pathway. Will not go there again......very rude staff, and the manager was very rude too.

Me and my daughter decided we would go here for breakfast I went in to let staff know we where outside and was told the breakfast menu was only a muffin or 'the breakfast' and we couldn't remove anything or add anything to the food, fair anough I got a menu to take to my daughter who was sat outside with the dog (well behaved) as we sat and was about to order a rude waitress came out and said we coudent sit there as we had a dog bearing in mind the benches where on a public path and not in a beer garden nor did thay have a barrier around the seating area I have never known a wetherspoons pub not alow dogs at least outside we will not be going there at all again it was lucky we hadn't already ordered something

Went for a Meal 15/7/21 and as I did not have the App We had table service We found a table and put the green card to say We are ready to order but no one came near so I got up and asked a sever if someone could take our order and was told some one will be with Us in a few minutes, 15 minutes later I had to go and ask someone else and was told the same thing, but no one came so of I go again up I went and found a lady who seemed to be in charge and when I asked Her I got a stern reply well we are very busy ( the place was less than half full) I then explained what was going on She got someone to take our order the food was OK but would not go there again.

Really nice pub, visited multiple times now, the staff are lovely however the drinks took a while to get to us, but they tried their best as they had a full house. Recommend visiting!!

We booked the Troll Cart Hotel last minute for a night away, the website pictures looked great but as this was a Weatherspoons I was slightly anxious. On arrival I was slightly concerned it was a beautiful day and the seating out the front was barricaded in with Harris Fencing right on the main street. On entering all my concerns started to vanish, we checked in using the NHS Track & Trace app and were asked were we wanted to sit, inside or outside. We opted for the rear beer garden and it really was a nice area, views not great but this is in the center of town. We ordered lunch through the app and the service was fantastic. We then booked into the hotel and all rooms are on the second floor with a lift for access. I was blown away with the room ,it was immaculate with a huge bed, large tv on the wall, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities and a great bathroom with a fantastic shower. Hotel guests are given priority when eating and drinking in the pub. After a day wandering we had dinner in the pub and then stayed drinking for the evening. The services was fantastic and the meals are great value for money. The pub closes at 1am and I was concerned about noise when we went to our room but I had no need. The bed was very comfy and big enough for 4 adults !!!!!. We went for breakfast at 7:30 and again the service was spot on. It really was an unexpected surprise and definitely a place i would go back too.

Had a few evening meals at The Troll Cart, being Wetherspoons you know what you are going to get. Food was to the usual good standard, and hot. The eating areas were generally clean but tables needed to be cleared a lot quicker, because whilst we could sit at a table outside many still had the previous guest glasses, plates etc on them, therefore Covid cleaning between sittings did not happen, and we had to ask a few times for the table to be cleared.There was some (actually a lot) of confusion over which table number to use, because the table had a metal tag with a number on it, yet there was a stuck on label with a different number on it, which on some tables you just could not read. For me the logic would be to use the same number on the stuck on label as that nailed to the table, even staff a number of times could not find the right table.Whilst it was not full, the service was at times very slow, this, despite ordering on their own app. On one day, my wife and I nearly finished our meals before our bottle of wine turned up, not good, and spoilt the meal. Really do not know what will happen when Great Yarmouth is in full season, perhaps they will take on more staff.They also need to sort out what areas are for smoking and those that are not, because each time we ate outside, whilst the tables were clearly marked as no smoking, some guest still smoked at the table, which was ignored by the staff. They must have seen this happening because they were serving the tables at the time... Really not acceptable.

We had a fantastic time at the troll cart, our bedroom was so clean and surprisingly quiet we overlooked maccys and kfc the staff was ok but the security guys Dominic and Tony couldn't have been friendly they rushed to our needs and was really helpful lovely lads

Me, my son and partner are staying here for 5 nights in the hotel and the room is modern and immaculate. The room is cleaned every day. It was also nice that the pub is just downstairs and not far to go for food and drink. Can't believe the prices....so cheap and yet such tasty food and great choice of drink for adults and children. We will definitely be returning.

My family and I got refused entry for a meal and a drink on the 18th May because I had union Jack shorts on by a arrogant waiter he rushed over to us as we was entering saying there was no tables inside or outside and told us we couldn't wait till a table became available we couldn't even go and order a drink while we waited he wouldn't even let us through the entrance have never had a problem with waiting for a table to become available before been in their twice this week for breakfast no problem but the only thing that was different was I was wearing the union Jack shorts when we walked passed the rear seating area it was completely empty so won't be going back the the troll cart ever again and will be telling all my friends and family not to use them anymore

Upon entry we was greeted a grumpy large young lady who wasn't very hospitable and quite blunt. But then a chirpy fella called George took our order and lifted the spirits again.

Called here on a day trip to Yarmouth post lockdown. Only outdoor service. It was quiet and orderly. Nice enough place and food to stop off for a break.

This comment refers to the attitude and negligence of the duty manager. We patiently waited in the queue outside for a table, I asked if a certain table was available and the manager went away to check if it had been sanitised. When he returned he said it had, and we could sit down. There was several tables free so we chose a different table, smaller as we were only a 4 and the other table was a 6 which we didn’t need. The other table was also much cleaner. The manager then shouted at us and said he would not serve us. He demanded we moved to the dirtier bigger table which we did, but it was covered in food and had clearly not been sanitized. He shouted “I’m just trying to keep everyone safe” and said he would have the table sanitized immediately. We had two rounds of drinks on this table and it never did get sanitized whilst we were there for over an hour. We also witnessed 3 other tables being vacated and then seated again without cleaning in between guests. I tried to talk to the manager (who refused to give his name to me) but he was not reasonable at all and told me to complain online. A very poor experience which upset my young family and I still don’t know what the reasons for it all were.

Came in on Saturday around 3/4 ish, waited 25 minutes to be served after been spoken to rudely by a female member of staff. The only one who actually looked like they was actually working was the male manager on front of house. Never again. And to top it off nearly all the tables we walked by were dirty.

Popped in for breakfast. All precautions in place. Used the app, food arrived quickly and hot plus refills of tea and coffee. Food was delicious, a perfect fry up. Troll Cart was very clean as were the toilets. Definitely no complaints.

Once you sit down in a Wetherspoons, you know what you’re going to get, but this occasion stands out as one of the best I’ve had in their pubs of late. We ordered on the app and in less than a five minutes, our breakfasts materialised from nowhere. A mix-up saw me presented with a traditional meaty breakfast instead of a vegetarian plate but in fairness it was replaced straightaway as the wrong dish had been collected, so no dramas there. Refillable coffee for a low price, breakfast sides correctly served-up and there was nothing to complain about in terms of the food itself. All in all, a more than successful visit.

Visited here during the week, went on a quiet day and first of all was left at the door waiting no one came so after several minutes used sanitizer and entered and sat at a table , no number on the table plus could not order asked 4 staff for help before after nearly half an hour waiting to get in and seated , eventually got a drink , because the app would not work to accept payment . Next time was slightly better . We did not go at a busy time .

With the Covid rules in place it was a bit tiresome. Because we were staying in the hotel we could come in through a different entrance. Food ok but I had gammon one night. It was a bit lacking in imagination. Breakfast was fine.Hotel was very good. Good housekeeping. Lovely spacious room.

Had a large selection of gin available. Staff were helpful and ensured it was as safe as possible. The staff were quick to clear tables and ensure you could be seated quickly

My wife and I were staying locally for the week in early September and had breakfast in The Troll Cart on a few occasions as well as lunch. Sanitiser is available on arrival and floors are marked for a form of one way system but this did not appear to be adhered to by many, but perhaps was because it was not totally obvious or easy to follow. We were early around 8.00am for breakfast but, and this was one disappointment, was that tables did not look the cleanest and were sticky. Given that nobody had sat there since the day before this was a little disconcerting. Ordering was still at the bar as I am older and do not use the App available and our mugs for tea and coffee are given to you. This was not the same every day depending on who served you. One day the mugs were filled with hot water and another day you added the hot water at the service station yourself where milk, sugar and stirrers were located. Why not be consistent or am I missing something.Food was served promptly, was very hot and very enjoyable. One day was a shade disappointing as our fried eggs on our large breakfasts were hard and had obviously been sitting waiting under a hot lamp and had dried out. Large breakfast for £5-49 is excellent value for money and we did enjoy our meals and were overall very pleased.

My self and my partner visited twice in one afternoon. We had to queue to get in but we didn’t mind. Once through the door we used the Covid app to check in. The procedure inside the pub was explained simply.On each occasion we used the Wetherspoons app to order our drinks. The system worked!!! Customers were complying with the new face covering rules. The staff too were Covid friendly. Usual great Wetherspoon prices and quality. The Covid rules and regulations were followed and the company should be applauded for setting up the system in such a short period of time. Plus each staff member was helpful and used common sense where it was needed.

Fantastic safe experience. As a slightly older couple who sometimes feel vulnerable in the current climate it was very reassuring to see somewhere that actually strictly adheres to the rules, add friendly staff, good food and service plus the best ladies toilets I have used! Highly recommended

Stopped for coffee mid morning and as husband is in a wheelchair needed to use the disabled facility The lovely helpful staff directed us to where it was and we were amazed at the size of the room which also had a full sized changing bed with an electric hoist As I am a retired physiotherapist who worked with LD clients for many years one of our bug bears was lack of accessible toilets with changing facilities for our most physically disabled clients in wheelchairs They basically didn’t exist, so well done to Weatherspoons as a company for providing this brilliant facility It’s a shame that more chains do nt follow this excellent example, as disabled people should be able to go out and about enjoying the high street as others do but so often they can’t as they cannot use standard toilets Would also like to comment on the stylish COVID separators that have been installed in the pub to separate the tables , they matched the wood finish on them to the pubs interior We love Weatherspoons as they do fabulous coffee at a great price and you get free refills and the staff are always so helpful and pleasant

We was at the troll Cart today as we got in we all did sit down we did forgot the 6 person and we was 7 but one is a 2yr old kid.one member off staff did say it was ok for today. And 20mins later another member of staff did say we will have to split up.we did say one of your staff say its ok for today but he did not care what we did say. So we will not be back ......as your starr do not talk one two one.

Staff on hand to answer questions, food ordered via app on our phone ( new thing for some of those of us over 60). Service very quick, food and drinks of the quality we have come to expect from "Spoons" it does what i says on the tin, simple pub grub, cheep beer. Great staff.

stayed at the troll cart for a few nights, massive room, big tele, shower was huge and everyone was really clean. The only issues we had were the lift wasn't working from all levels.and the buttons were missing too. Our door cards had to be re programmed so we could access our floor and room. Difficult getting a table at meal times and no car park attached to the pub. Could offer guests a parking permit for the duration of their stay. Really enjoyed my time there, would definitely stay again.

As always Wetherspoons never lets you down. Called in today for a quick bite of lunch. Got exactly what we wanted and expected, good quality food at a good price with great service.

Yes it was busy but no excuse to not clean the floor around where people sit we waited 1/2 hour to get in the guy at the door had no idea what he’s doing also rubbish Wi-Fi

After queuing for some time I did wonder if the service and food would be just as slow but I was wrong. As a family of four, we waited from 4.30pm last Wednesday afternoon to get into the restaurant. After 20 minutes we got in, signed a form for Covid and shown to a table. There was a lot of space between other people and it's obviously a popular choice and that's why it's so busy. We ordered our food at the bar and took advantage of the dine in to help out scheme. For a meal for four including drinks it was £20! Incredible. We waited less than ten minutes for our food, it was so quick. I couldn't fault my steak and quinoa salad and being gluten free it was nice to have so many choices. The staff are amazing, working very hard behind the scenes and out front. The service was friendly and efficient really couldn't fault it. Thank you!

Really enjoyed the atmosphere was lovely and open, a lot of air flow as their was floor to ceiling windows that opened so anyone worried about covid 19 it was safe. The staff here was so lovely and helpful! They was very happy to answer my questions and assist us. Lovely outside areas to eat or have a drink in! Have separate smoking area that is well looked after with lovely seating. Fully enjoyed being their! One of the best Wetherspoons I’ve been in.

Ate here last night and the service was terrible, there were empty tables but we were plonked in front of the door where the bouncers! Yes bouncers were in and out the front door so we asked to move. The lady pointed over to a table which actually was taken so we moved to a booth. She then rudely brought over a bouncer 20 minutes later telling us we’d moved to the wrong table and 3 in a booth was a waste of space and it’s for larger groups. So we politely moved and then the same bouncer seated a couple in the booth 5 mins later!!!! My poor mum doesn’t get out a lot, I’m fuming about this. Treated like dirt and the steak and burger was disgusting. Will never be going back again.

Stayed one night. Lovely spacious room. Staff were friendly and attentive. Best night sleep I’ve had in a long time too.

Everything about this pub is spot on. Great layout, fantastic outside area & the food & prices can’t be beaten. The hotel above it looks great too.

Fabulous place staff are friendly helpful.To the manager you have a brilliant team .We are back in Yarmouth in 8 weeks and we will visit again .In our 3 night break we visited 3 times .Food and drink good value .Nice clean environment

We had a good time at the Great Yarmouth Wetherspoon unfortunately the fire alarm went off during our visit, the management and staff handled themselves well with a professional and customer oriented approach I would recommend coming and giving the restaurant a try Nice open atmosphere friend staff and management

staff busy and cleaning down the tables got some cheap canned soft drinks on the eat out deal from the till i think the app is updated as well very busy monday to wednesday due to the deal toilets clean hand sanitisers common its okpeople expect too much they are consistent at what they do

One of the nicest looking exterior spoons I've seen. Staff are covid aware, regularly cleaning. Nice toilets. Food was standard but came fast even though busy. Easy to order from the app. Left happy, thanks.

Went out with a group of friends. My 21 year old son had chicken that he said "tasted funny" but trusted they had good kitchen hygiene even in the recent bad weather....hmmmm! Within 2 hours he was bent over the toilet!!!! The staff don't seem to know their arse from their elbow (as the saying goes) and i have lost an trust that the chefs do too. I would hate to see what is going on in the kitchen behind closed doors.

We were a big party of 11 of us, 4 adults and 7 children. We all ordered food together as we wanted too eat together, we ordered a portion of onion rings on the side, and the bar lady who took the order repeated back our order which had everything however when our meals came out, one came out wrong completely wrong meal, onion rings did not come out and steak was not cooked how it was asked. Told them about the meal which was wrong and we clearly stated if it wasn’t going to be out with all the others we would keep it because we wanted to eat together!! They said of course it will be 2 minutes! Every one had finished by the time it came out! Also we asked about onion rings, for then the manager to come over and be very rude and say it wasn’t on our receipt! But the lady at the bar knew we ordered them!! Made us feel very stupid in front of other customers felt they were trying to belittle us for their own mistakes!!Would not go here again.

My partner and I called as part of the eat out help out scheme. The place was packed (as expected). After a long queue we got in and found several empty tables full of plates. The staff were too busy to clear the empty tables which resulted in longer waiting times to get in. Most the menu was sold out, including all the grill and pizza sections. I got a burger and my partner got a curry.When the curry came the popadom was missing, we didn't get chance the mention this to the waitress as she threw it on the table at us and ran away never to be seen again. I ordered a whisky and lemonade and was brought a strange coconut tasting malibu-like drink. Again, no staff were to be seen and the bar was rammed so I just drank it and accepted it as my own fault for picking such a shoddy place to eat.I try not to set my expectations too high when visiting a wetherspoons, but this one was particularly poor.

Went into this establishment for some lunch and a drink stood for a while as no tables free which was fine. There was a table free but it was full from the last people on it. We asked nicely if they could clear it for us only to be told they would do it when they were ready! We left...

Few beers and some food at this tidy and new spoons. Menu a bit limited due to the old Virus (not sure why ?) and they stopped Hophouse 13 (shame I liked that). Food and drink served quick enough from the app. Their network was not working correctly so struggled a bit with the old 4G. Overall not a bad place.

Unsure how but they managed to mess up a cooked breakfast the bacon was inedible and the hash browns well, not sure how or when they cooked them but they were beyond belief honestly not even worth the cheap price truly terrible!

Tuesday afternoon 28th july Male bar manager extremely rude by trying to manipulate me in front of other customers

We came here for a variety of meals spread over a couple of days (breakfast, lunch and dinner) . Everywhere is clearly signposted for COVID-19, plenty of sanitising stations, we found the place clean, friendly and helpful. Loved the ease of ordering from the app and paying. Prompt and efficient service. Very different to our local one, with staff ensuring everything was okay.

Clean, safe and organised. (Three words I never thought I would be saying about a Wetherspoons) The food was properly cooked & the service was good.

Came in all 5 days after reopening as we were visiting Yarmouth. All very well organised No booking just turn up and wait on the designated spots at the first side door. You are asked to use hand sanitizer and stick to the left when walking around the pub. Everyone is asked if they can use the wetherspoons app to order food and drink, which we do anyway but you can order from the bar. Everyone needs to be seated as theres no standing at the bar. Paper menus available and condiments are all in sachets. Smoking still allowed in the garden at the very bottom end. And you exit at the doors nearest the taxi layby. You are also encouraged to fill in the NHS track and trace slip of paper and pop in the designated box, just incase they need to contact you. The hand sanitizer is I swear neat gin and very strong so be careful of minor cuts on your hands. No Thatchers available or cherry coke so strongbow and Pepsi max it was then. All staff very friendly and welcoming and doing their best in this current global pandemic situation. We'll be back when in Yarmouth as always a wetherspoons fan.

Could not fault the Wetherspoons hotel in fact the room was superb. The normal good food and great real ale in the bar. Check into hotel good. Room for 2 great. I will return

Had a few meals there ie breakfast and dinner great value for money staff where friendly and could not do enough for you always asked if every thing was ok with your food if you had a problem with your food they would change it for you.

Popped in for coffee free refills who can beat that £1.50 drink as much as you can I’m sure some people abuse the system but in reality there is only so much tea/coffee you can drink.

Stayed for one night. A surprisingly spacious room which was really comfortable- nice touch with biscuits as well as tea/coffee and bottled water.

We were very impressed with the room. Huge bed. Lovely big shower. Big TV. Very warm as it was the night of the storm Ciara. Couldn't wish for moreWe met the staff as we left the room and they very very friendly and polite. We had a good breakfast downstairs in the bar. Just the job. We will be back

I am still dealing with a complaint from months ago, Laura I think her name is needs her p45, her attitude is vile and she is an embarrassment to the Wetherspoons brand. Plus, the majority of the other staff members I spoke to encouraged me to make a complaint and advised that mine wasn’t an isolated incident and people complain about her all the time because of her foul, abusive conduct but because she’s got a manager position she gets away with it. Horrible horrible woman, I would hate to be her. She’s obviously not liked for good reason. The complaints procedure is not that of a good company either.

Absolute bargain for breakfast. Small vegetarian breakfast £3.40 and Traditional breakfast at £3.90. Really good for the price and nice to people watch. Staff friendly and helpful. Thanks!

Visited the Trollcart to meet a friend. We both had breakfast which was very nice. We both had coffee which is unlimited for 1pound 50pence a bargain. Service was excellent staff very helpful so will definitely be back.

This pub has a nice atmosphere and is convenient with our family for breakfast as it has good disabled access. We go regularly for breakfast which is usually perfectly exceptable for the price but lately the bacon and bean are very often cold and when we asked for soft poached eggs they said we can't promise that. They have always replaced items if we have complained. But the egg thing is odd since they have Eggs Benedict on the menu. Staff are mostly good and refillable coffee is great. However it can be hit and miss.

As you would expect the beer is super cheap and fresh. £1..69 for a pint of ruddles. What more do you want. Nice staff, clean pub, nice toilets.

Probably one of the best locations for a restaurant/hotel adjacent to Bus Station with regular services to Lowestoft and Norwich and well-placed for shops/arcades.

Having stayed here before we thought we would come again for our birthdays our room was lovely very spacious beautiful shower only downside was we only had hand towels to dry with. Would definitely stay again though. Good value for money

I eat here a lot , run of the mill food but good cheap prices, and cheap drinks sometimes there is a wait, so don’t be in a rush, friendly staff, but they don’t clean the tables quickly and outside not sure they are ever cleaned, but it is weather spoons so I guess it’s to be expected.

You really can’t knock the hotel side of the Troll Cart, we had room 301 I kid you not the room measures 10m x 6m, lovely bathroom, double aspect views through large feature windows, we have stayed in hotels three times the price of this one and I can honestly say most were no better.

We stayed here for the weekend as we were going racing. Location very good in the heart of Gt Yarmouth, 10 minutes from the beach and amusements. The room itself was very modern, spacious lovely.

not to bad 15 mins.waiting for meal once all served it was ok burgers nice but chicken hard cut and chew,chips not bad.

The main course was okay but the portions are small and the deserts where cold and when I asked for a new one day he staff was very rude and cause they where in the wrong and didn’t like the fact we had pulled them up on it we kept getting funny looks of the staff and they refused to come and clear the table. the whole manner of the staff is not professional. I will not be coming here again unless they sort some of the staff out and they improve the food.
