Very nice small museum with interesting exhibitions. Currently there's one about the seventies which brought back some memories. The art gallery is always worth a look too. The people are always friendly and helpful.

Great little museum and art gallery. The views of Beverly Minster from the top of the observation tower are superb and well worth a visit.

Stumbled upon The Treasure House whilst looking around the very interesting town of Beverley, initially we were drawn to look at the Fabulous Minster and then we went into the coffee shop in the Treasure House which was very good and extremely reasonable, also looked around the art exhibition and various other bits and pieces in there. All in all we spent a very good day in Beverley it was very reasonable to park there for the day, which is always good to know.

Took kids today for first time as part of our Daddy & Daughters trip to Beverley. Interesting little museum with plenty of interactive stuff to keep my 7 & 11 year olds entertained. Art gallery was small, but perfectly formed. We will be back & hopefully get to check out the cafe next time.

Avoid at all costs the toasted cheese sandwich. The white bread is so cotton woolly that when toasted the sandwich ends up about one centimetre thick.

First time going in and wasn't disappointed. I have a disabled partner and it was easy and manageable for him in his wheelchair.

Visited the archives with my wife for the first time in many years. Staff were extremely helpful in setting the visit up, helping us through the archive card process which you have to have now and were very knowledgeable on how we could research what we needed. Needless to say, a successful session. Thanks to great staff, it helps there was a quiet and clean environment too. Many thanks Steve and Linda

Nice, convenient place for coffee above the library. Good atmosphere, sometimes a bit noisy. The building used to have one of the fastest WiFi speeds in the area, but I didn't check it today. Did notice someone working on their laptop. Recommended.

This proved to be a great little modern venue for carrying out our family history. The staff were very friendly and were more than willing to assist with showing us where things were and were very knowledgeable about how to use the equipment. the computers were easy to use and fast enough but the microfiche would benefit from being updated.

While on holiday in Scarborough I went on a day trip which included Beverley. This was on the 11th feb. After some shopping I sought shelter in your library as the weather was very bad. I spent some time on the computors checking e-mails and such like had a coffee and used the toilets. I must say I am very envious of the facilities you have - you are so lucky - this is a beautiful place with excellent facilities and much better than we have in Loughborough {Leicestershire} - although yours is only a small town .

On the first floor of the treasure house, always busy when we visit. You get a good cup of coffee and a wide selection of cakes or biscuits. Not been at lunch time but would expect the standards to be good.

Wow popped in today with a friend for a light lunch and we were both very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. It was delicious! I had salt and pepper chicken with a side of chips and it was the best salt and pepper chicken I have ever had!! And I am one fussy food eater! The chap who brought the food to our table was friendly, polite and professional. Thank you for a wonderful visit!

Good value, wide drinks selection. You know what you'll get at a Spoons - not fine dining but not bad either. Quite busy at times, sometimes a wait at the bar (so get the app) and tables could be cleared faster. Looking its age a bit and could do with a refurbishment. However nice place. Good to see that the menu has been updated.

Started well, nice starters. Main course (booked at 5:30) they didn’t have 2 of the main Sunday meats, beef wellington, or a starter. We ere very disappointed considering we booked early in the night. I asked for two pints one delivered and 2nd one I had to remind the waitress and then it was spilt on the table- didn’t clean it up either. Asked for it to be cleaned and spent the whole meal with a sticky table. Then the cheek of a surcharge and had to ask for it to be removed twice. Wont be returning. This was my second not very good meal here.

We come here as a family quite a lot as it is local to us. Whilst the food is always consistently nice, it’s never outstanding. It’s pub grub done well. The last two times we have been, we have taken our dog too, which is great for us as they have the Tap Room which accepts dogs. On both occasions the room was cold, so much so, I had to leave my coat on. Also on both occasions the music being played into the room, as what I imagine is supposed to be quiet “background music” has been too loud, and in my opinion, inappropriate for a relaxing Sunday lunch. A mix of loudly played Radiohead, The Darkness, U2 and Blur is maybe a bit “heavy” to have as background music. For those wondering, I do actually like those bands, but it didn’t create a very “chilled”, “relaxing” or “background music” atmosphere.
