We are so happy that The Traf is on our doorstep. A great atmosphere and staff are brilliant. Madge and Mike are fantastic landlords and make you feel at home, nothing is too much bother. We love to eat here, the food is excellent. Our main treat of the week is quiz night on a Thursday, it’s very well organised and a good laugh!!

I'm really disappointed! The Traf is my local and I've always felt comfortable going there as a member of the LGBT community. It felt like one of the non queer specific bars that I felt comfortable in...Not anymore! When I got in there was some guy in the other room (pool area?) screaming 'gaaaaaaaaaay!' In a derogatory manner. Whatever, rolled my eyes and shrugged it off. Then my relative, who is transgender, got up to order a drink. She was minding her own business, not bothering anyone at all when a table started pointing at her and laughing. It was led by a teenage boy in a grey tracksuit and then the two older women (one with orange/red hair and glasses) joined in. The worst part? The fourth person who joined in was a member of staff! A member of staff (old guy, white hair, was wearing glasses later on at the bar) was sat at a table, laughing and pointing at a vulnerable customer. Absolutely vile.

You feel like you're at home the moment you walk into The Trafalger. Wonderful friendly staff who make you feel so very welcomed. The meals are fresh, beautifully cooked and excellent value for money. I wouldn't have a steak anywhere else!

We used the Trafalgar for my mother in laws wake . Madge was wonderful on our enquiry and listened to what we wanted The food was outstanding , the room was set up with coffee tea and memory table with beautiful candle . Cannot thank the Trafalgar enough they went over and beyond and made a very difficult day so much easier Thank you to Mike Madge and their staff

Visited tonight for the quiz, had food and drinks with the family. Quiz was absolutely smashing!! Loved doing it on the tablet the host and atmosphere was great. Would definitely recommend. Will be coming again next week !

As always a lovely meal. Our share starter could have been to feed 4 ! We had a mixed grill and lasagna and both were lovely. Service was prompt and all the staff were super friendly and helpful. Neither of us could manage a pudding but we will be back very soon and maybe next time we can manage that pudding!

Great Atmosphere, Nice Ales, Nice Food, Can get busy at times as it is very popular for the food but worth the wait. All the staff are very friendly and hardworking to ensure everyone is happy with their drinks/food. Highly Recommended

We went Sunday 12th November for food, I had the rump steak, my partner had the southern fried hunters chicken ( he'd never tried before) mum had normal hunters chicken and my son had chicken dippers food was all cooked absolutely perfectly, nice relaxing atmosphere, staff chatty and happy to help with anything to assist in our visit been pleasant, pub very clean and presentable, working highly recommend and will be visiting again. stopped in after visiting the firework display in Hednesford. Great atmosphere and really friendly staff. Although the kitchen had closed when we arrived the menu looked very appealing, and at a reasonable price, with a nice choice of drinks. And very family friendly in the lounge. I think we will be visiting this pub again.

Highly recommended! Treated the nan to some food today we both went for the serloin steak with beef dripping n merlot sauce, absolutely amazing, from well done to med rare both was cooked to perfection, presentation of the food was unreal for the price too! We've already made plan to come back next week with friends! Booked table here for birthday celebrations. Can't fault the service we received from start to finish. Highly recommended. Food was delicious and served hot. Mike was very helpful in making our celebrations went well. Will definitely visit here again. Thankyou all

I am a local for many years, and have got to say that the pub is well and truly and the road back to the good times. Madge and Mike have done a great job over the past couple of months, and have a feeling that things are only going to go from strength to strength.

Only very few peopke but took 40 minutes for food to arrive. This used to be a clean welcoming local this has long gone havr given many many chances to change but alas it never has.
