Had our works Xmas meal for 2 years now, it was lovely. The food was great, the staff were friendly and the drinks prices were quite reasonable.

Although very local to where we live, the Homestead hadn't been somewhere I've used. Decided to meet up with a friend and our kids after school for tea. I had a steak salad, my friend enjoyed hunters chicken and kids chose classic kids meals which followed with ice-cream. Drinks were average priced with a good drinks selection. Portions were fab, prices great and staff were friendly and very hospitable as well as service being very efficient. Would highly recommend

Lovely pub which we found by chance . Great atmosphere within the bar and although we didn't book for lunch . They managed to squeeze us in 👍🏼 lovely food and great staff . Would definitely recommend and will definitely drop by again whilst visiting family. Thank you again for squeezing us in .

Went there with our lass to get a quick bite and drink and the staff were lovely and so attentive to making sure that the food was good and if we needed anything we got two burgers and chips the taste and presentation was amazing the 2 ladies we spoke to dawn and lisa they were so good and definitely convinced us to go again deffo deserve a raise the menu had plenty to choose from they have regular events through the week and me and my partner wanna try all the menu over the times we visit

We go to the Homestead most weeks for Sunday lunch and it’s delicious. We also eat during the week and the food is always wonderful. The quality of the food is excellent and the staff are friendly and very efficient. I would recommend this pub to everyone

Family & dog friendly pub, great atmosphere with good singers at the weekends. Food is amazing & servers are lovely, always happy to help. Bar meals available too if you want something less formal

Birthday Bash. Well catered for. Three girl staff on bar duty very good & polite. I recommend them.

A well presented establishment with a very tidy garden area. The interior decor was cozy and clean. All the staff were very helpful and attentive. A great selection of traditional pub favourites, burgers, veggie and childs options. I opted for gammon, egg/pineapple and chips, plus usual sides. The staff were very willing to adjust my order for a minimal charge. In many ways, it was a delight to my tongue. The meat was succulent, eggs to perfection and chips as good as me nans! Is not my first eating experience here and will not be my last.

Staff were very friendly, pub was clean. Food was fantastic.

Our local. Our home from home. Fantastic, friendly atmosphere. Excellent entertainment. The service is second to none. I don’t think we’ve ever had a bad day/night at the pub. With the addition of AJ’s Bistro, and the amazing food on offer, The Homestead really does have it all.

Went for a carvery meal just before Christmas, and the food was lovely. Nice relaxed homely atmosphere

Had a fab night at the homestead. Rib eye steak was exceptional. The Stilton and mushroom sauce was soooo good. I was full but couldn’t resist the aero cheesecake. Bloomin marvellous. Fantastic service from the lovely Lisa and Rob behind the bar. We’re not local but was made welcome. Great to see a thriving family friendly pub doing well. Traditional, caring hospitality whether a regular customer or travelling through. Thoroughly recommend and will be back.

Really nice people and very accommodating. Came down from North Wales to do my brothers party .Disturbed that people from main bar had access to our party .Sound bleed over from disco, and karaoke in the main bar was distracting for the guests .

Nice little pub in a residential area. Beers are reasonably priced middle priced. Clean and no riff raff. Parking outside not sure if there is CCTV in the car park though. They have live music on Sundays in the bar area and the other side is quite no blaring TVs so safe to bring the kids..

5star pub now Dawn n Rob have it great atmosphere always a welcome when you go in staff excellent especially Ryan who is funny always.

Just returned from the most delicious lunch at the Homestead. My first visit but I will definitely go again and would highly recommend it. My steak was cooked to perfection with proper homemade chips and the food was all piping hot. We had the Pensioners Special menu which I believe is available Tues to Friday and is an absolute bargain & exceptional value for money. Not only is the food outstanding... it is matched by the standard of service which we received from the most pleasant and friendly member of staff who looked after us... he is a credit to this establishment. 5 stars but I would give more if I could 👍👍

This is a great pub for both food and entertainment. Great beers at great prices. AJ's Bistro has become very popular since opening Dec 2021 and the popularity has increased throughout the year. Lookout for the XMAS MENU. You won't be disappointed. The staff and owners are the best in the business. Come down have a drink and maybe something to eat. And prove me wrong. See ya soon

Lovely atmosphere in this pub, first time I have visited but will definitely be back the staff where very friendly and the service was tip top.

If you are looking for home cooked food and NOT from a microwave then this ticks all the boxes. Five star in all areas. The food was bostin and the staff extremely helpful and courteous. Definitely be returning soon

I have had food at the homestead at least 10 times. I've never had a bad meal. Steaks are always cooked to how u want love the home made chips. Great choice on menu. Friendly and polite staff. Will definitely go myself again and would recommend to anyone to have food there.

I enjoyed it here. The Hobgoblin is £3.80 a bottle though. Maybe I'm too used to Wetherspoons prices! But, a nice pleasant place for an afternoon pint.

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Shame limited options on a Sunday especially for children. Maybe add nuggets or fish fingers for smaller ones on sundays? Just a suggestion.
