This was a terrific find for breakfast in Royal Wootton Bassett on a Sunday morning. The menu sounded good. The portions were very generous and delicious, and the prices were extremely competitive. Should we be in town again, we would absolutely call here again.

We had a lovely lunch this afternoon at the Town Hall Cafe. I had prawns and jacket potato served with salad and coleslaw and my partner had beans and jacket potato with salad and coleslaw. Really good portions. We followed this with a piece of home made coffee and walnut cake and a mug of peppermint tea each. The whole bill totalled £23.05. The people who run this cafe were friendly and the service was good. This was my partner’s third visit and my first. Both of us would definitely recommend this lovely little cafe.

Delightful hosts Niroshan & Anna, so accommodating, catered for 14 of us one one Tuesday evening sharing some of the most delightful Sri Lankan cuisine, their home cooking !! which was very much appreciated and enjoyed by everyone. They have an extensive daytime menu, at the Town Hall Tea rooms with so many options too, each dish a culinary delight. By far the all day cooked breakfast is very popular indeed. Don't take my word for it, drop by and taste and see how good it is

On our first visit to RWB (not our last, we liked it) we came across this small cafe and decided to have lunch. Table service throughout, which I wish more places would offer, and a very warm welcome from the owner. We found a table for two in the smaller room on the right of the front door and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. I ordered the spinach and cheese omelette, hubby tried the sausage and egg bap. Both freshly cooked to order, so we had a short wait, but well worth it. Well presented and delicious. We look forward to returning.

Had a delicious Gluten free Prawn Mayonnaise triple sandwich and salad all freshly made on the premises. I also ordered decaf tea with Soya Milk and a delicious piece of homemade Gluten free Carrot Cake. I've been going here every week with Friends as we know we have a wonderful greeting and a big smile from the Owner, everything is cooked or made fresh on the premises and the meals are a good size for the prices. The only thing that's a downside is that if its really busy you might have to wait a little time to get served especially if its only the Owner serving and its not very big and they can't get a lot of tables and chairs inside, they have three tables with four chairs at each of them then in another room attached is another two tables with four chairs and two tables with two chairs. If you ask to reserve a table it's a sure bet you can get in, otherwise you might have to wait or come back later. They do have table and chairs outside for the warmer weather too. They do Gluten free, Vegan meals and sandwiches, Gluten free cake, Soya Milk as well as normal, different teas and coffees. On each table there is hand gel. I can highly recommend you going, you won't regret it. They're open every day 8.30am to 4pm so don't take my word come and try it yourselves, you won't regret it 😉

Great Full English Breakfast. I went for the 10 item and the Misses did a 6 item one. Both of us emptied our plates. Great quality sausages. I don’t remember the last time I had fried bread…. But I’ll be going back and having it again.

Unintended lunch time need for a snack led us to The RWB Town Hall Tea Rooms. We sat outside; the waitress took our order for Toasties and coffee. She was attentive and helped me with a disability that makes life awkward. We both ordered Tuna and salad Toasties that proved to be the best we have enjoyed for quite a while. Our lunch stop proved to be a good idea; we will most certainly return soon. The cost of the snack was less than we expected to pay given our experience of other cafes in the area.

For top quality, fine dining in Salisbury there really is nothing to match Allium. With a small, personalised feel the beautiful, hand crafted dishes of perfect portions and exceptional quality are presented in good time and the very well thought out menu has something for everyone, as does the wine list. I couldn’t fault a thing. The final surprise was the good value as at the end of such a pleasurable, perfect experience I would expect it to cost more than it did.

This continues to reign supreme as the finest purveyor of quality fish and chips in the area, utterly undefeated, and from the nicest owners you'd ever hope to meet.

Popped in just for a drink to fill time before getting on coach. We then decided to look at menu, it was a hard decision to make, but had bacon and egg on brown bread and a bowl of chips. we have never seen a egg yolk so yellow, cooked to perfection and the bacon was delicious. Quite a large quantity for a bowl of chips to. Lovely and clean and the ladies were so pleasant. Very reasonable prices as well. Would highly recommend

I'd say this is probably vying with Dan's for the best place to eat in Marlborough. We had our Valentine's dinner here and whole experience was just superb. It's a very characterful pub with lots of dining rooms feeding off the main entrance, so a great mix of busy/bustling, cosy and yet still intimate. They've just got a new chef but considering it was his first night running the kitchen you'd never know, all our food was perfectly cooked and very well presented. Great to see them employing some younger people for serving, some of them clearly still learning but all with a great "customer-centric" attitude. Finally the bill was half the price of somewhere like Rick Stein's. Couldn't really fault it at all.
