Love this place.We come most Saturday mornings for breakfast after slimming world!! Food cooked to order. Spotless, order & pay at the till, drinks given,food served at your table. Owner & staff friendly polite professional nothing too much trouble, only downside it's cash only! Nearest cash point Halifax till 15th May, Boyes and Morrisons. Enjoy 😉

An amazing place to just chill out. A lovely atmosphere and incredible staff, the food is great quality and is served within a good time, even during busy days. Absolutely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys a nice, slow paced lunch. Amazing

Amazing staff, amazing serving time (10 minutes) for a full meal, and high quality meals too. Would reccomend if you are looking for a cheap lunch in Acomb!

The coffee is awful, unless you like grey coffee. However, staff are lovely, food is basic but fine. Like an 80's greasy spoon and my 80 yr old mum loves coming here. Some real Acombites inhabit this cafe. It could use some improvements but had its own charm.

The town coffee house😘, me and our whipping go on a Saturday morning for a large breakfast. We do a fair swap he gives me his mushrooms and tommies and I give him a pork sword in return. If ya Sit in the window and ya can have a feed and watch acombs finest go by....ya might even see andz go by.

A nice little cafe with well cooked food and very friendly staff. The menu is quite extensive for a small cafe and food is freshly cooked. Prices are very good and well presented.The cafe toilets are very clean and the open kitchen shows cleanliness. There are a couple of tables outside too.

Very good cafe. Old fashioned English cafe with Italian owner. Busy all the time so they are doing something right.

The atmosphere is cosy, and the food is made as soon as you place the order. The food comes very fast, and it's so delicious. The staffers are nice and very friendly.

I'm well aware that the cost of living and prices of food has risen sharply but charging £3.20 for a ham sandwich is disgusting. I wouldn't have an issue paying that if it had been proper ham. Unfortunately this sandwich contained cheap wet ham, 2 slices from a packet that costs around £2!

Popped in for a bite to eat for lunch. My wife had Tuna Panini with chips and I had Sausage, egg and chips. OK, not difficult to get wrong but both meals were excellent. Tasted great and decent portions and very well priced. Would recommend and come back.

Used this place for over 20 years. Great old style cafe. Food is fantastic. They don't do fast food they do good food as fast as they can.

El personal aquí es cálido, sonriente y amable. No esperes buena comida, pero lo que hace, lo hace bien. Desde desayunos de todo el día, sándwiches calientes, tostadas, paninis y un montón de comidas básicas. Parece que tienen muchos clientes habituales, según nuestras observaciones. El café está en el centro de compras y fue un lugar bienvenido para pasar un día húmedo y miserable en febrero.

Trabajando en el área y apareció en brekkie. El personal es amable, cálido y limpio. El único inconveniente es que no hay instalaciones sanitarias. El desayuno caliente, limpio sabroso y he vuelto a visitar algunas veces.

Friendly staff even when busy, breakfast is griddles, not fried. Tastes amazing every time, just found out they serve Yorkshire Tea.. What more do you need, also, don't listen to Leslie Bird re the stairs, it's a ground floor establishment with one ramped step for disabled access...

Love the fact it's a great meal - well priced for the food you get, wonderful people behind the counter, you get to see the food being made as well... My staple is the Fried Breakfast. simply stunning. cooked on a hotplate - not in fat...the meal is tastier and healthier too... Brilliant place...

Great food and very friendly staff! Would definately recommend this place for a quick bite between shifts, or whenever you fancy a meet-up with a friend.

Lunchtime visit. The establishment seemed busy from the mainly full tables. The menu was more extensive than you would have thought from a small coffee bar with a small kitchen area but never the less I was pleased with my cheese and mushroom toastie. There was ample filling between two slices of white bread. Overall good value for money, served well in a cheap and cheerful area.

I absolutely love this little coffee house. I go to it all the time. Its just been taken over by a new guy but he is very friendly and has kept it as good as it was. I really recommend anyone looking for the perfect coffee house should pop by and try it as I think its perfect. And the scones to me are unbelievable delicious. And once you try one you'll be hooked like me lol.. just make sure you save me one lol.. XD
