Good food and service was good , lovely night 👍👍

6 of us ate here and we all enjoyed our meals. The service was very pleasant, ordered all night on the app without any problems. Had a brilliant band on, Chapter 6, which we would go back again just to see them again. Very enjoyable night overall.

First time in a while...wanted to see the pub after refurbishment... Service at the start was good. The food was good and tasty.... Later when queuing to order dessert I had to wait a while....some regulars were served first and comments were made about people just waiting at the bar and not shouting out...lady serving was very dismissive as wanted to serve regulars. Should have a special till for food ordering and this made clear.

I love the pub but my green card has been defaulting for three days and today as well please will you put it right

Come to the pub today for few drinks and the lady that severed me Kim with ginger hair was very nice and helpful and was lovely to talk too

Passed this place many times. Having looked at many great reviews about this place we decided to try it out. And yes we had a great lunch. the staff were fantastic to. the meals worth the money and brought quickley. we will come back. thank you for a great good friday lunch

Definite misnomer to include "pub". Perfectly nice staff, especially Kerry, battling with apparently ridiculously convoluted meal ordering system. If you're just calling in for a drink there's a straightforward Wetherspoons not far down the road....

I visited at lunchtime, I had food and drink both were great value for money. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely return again.

Visited last night and everyone was lovely. All the bar staff and the waitresses were polite and friendly. However I ordered the fish and chips for my meal and when it came it was all undercooked. The fish batter was heavy and pancake like and the chips were thick, half cooked and needed crisping up making it inedible. Nobody came to ask how our meals were or else I would have mentioned it then. It’s a shame because everything else was great

I love eating here friendly and like home everyone has good manners and an amazing atmosphere defo a place to come and chill out and drink with family and friends

My friends and i came to the pub at 14:30 so it wasnt busy we order the sharing platter it was nice but it took so long to come out, waited 45 mins for 2 main meal to come out, and over 1 hour for my own to come out which was the philly steak and then sent it back because my steak was overcooked, the only good part was the dessert.

Food wasn't much to shout out about. Burgers tasted very greasy. The staff were very nice, but food was a bit slow coming to the table, but I put that down to it being busy. There was some arguing going on outside, but this isn't unusual, apparently.

Popped in for a cheeky little munch .had a mega mixed grill and the Pork Tomahawk .The food was cooked to perfection and the service was outstanding. Definitely will call again .Thank you to Hayley and her team.

Came to the pub tonight for a meal with my daughter, lovely food and great service. Also stayed and took part in the quiz, we had a great time, will definitely return again.

Drink and food quick and tasty 😋

Went here for a nice little lunch due to it being a birthday for remembrance. The staff where very accommodating however when you order food they fail to mention that the pork tomahawk with vegetables and fries you will have to wait over 30 mins for. It took over 45 mins to receive the food and then ended up having to have it in takeaway containers. The atmosphere and pub where very pleasant. However I would say the food is not worth it. Really dry, over cooked and hard to eat

The staff is all cracking...but I wish to highlight a specific individual...I don't know this young female's name..as she didn't have a name badge...but I experienced a amazing venture at your venue...courtesy of her excellent skill set all round...I remember her beautiful green eyes and lovely smile and red hair...took be back in time to my 90's...C'est la vie...please pass my regards for her stupendous customer service...will defo be coming backk on a Sunday.

Had a lovely visit here , very nice staff , Rosie in particular had a big smile and held up a great conversation… struggle to find that from young people nowadays! Will definitely be returning soon.

egon served us and was very nice

Two people ordered chicken gyros which came with... No chicken. We asked and then five minutes later the waitress came with a bowl of... Bacon? When we asked again for chicken she just replied "oh I don't know what meat it is" and left. The refurb isn't great. It's so dark inside, it needs some spotlights or just white lights instead of yellow

I've just deleted my previous 4 stars rating to leave this new and updated 2 stars rating. Firstly, the refurbishment looks nice and pretty, but today there was only one person serving at the bar, and she was run off her feet, more staff would be better. Now, sadly, onto the absolutely horrible food. My last review for the hunter’s chicken et al, was 4 stars because the food was nice, hot, the chicken was juicy and had some taste to it. Today, I wasted £20 on two meals that I really wish I hadn't ordered. My hunter’s chicken was not that hot and just mildly warm, the chips were not great, and the chicken was as dry as sandpaper. That £20 I sadly wasted on this so called food could have gone to a charity that could have used the money for good, but I do give to charities regularly anyway. Actually, I have just decided to upgrade the rating to 2 stars (from 1 star) simply because my partner said that her meal was not too bad, but not great either, thus could have been better. I've had a really bad meal, I'm angry. My partner wouldn't let me make a complaint at the bar, even though I'm really not happy with the food that I received. To top it all off, it's Pancake Day today. I should have stayed at home and made a bunch of pancakes rather than spending £20 of my hard earned money on this second rate pub food. Last time I left a 4 star review for the same food only a couple of years ago, but not this time, because it was absolutely terrible. I was considering ordering some dessert, but because the food had literally angered me, I refused to order one as I had already wasted good hard earned money on this so called food. I'm not happy, I'm not happy at all. I really should have complained about my issues whilst I was there...

Hagley is a good manager ,friendly and helpful. Always their with a smile to welcome you ! The reopen is fabulous the standard of the reform and detail was beyond. expectations. Shout out to Egon too the Towers looks great and we are very proud locals!

Went to the recently refurbished Towers Inn for something to eat. Was greeted by Sharn who was really welcoming and helpful. She found us a table and took our order. Food was served by Kayleigh and Nefe came to ask us if everything was OK with our food. Overall excellent service and brilliant attention to customer satisfaction. Well done all

Every time I ask for a rare steak it comes well done. Very disappointing

Unfortunately, we had to wait longer for our food, and it wasn't at its usual hot temperature. Staff missed the opportunity for a sale when they failed to point out the 2 for offer. Not good on a day I'm in the mood for a few drinks. Not their finest hour

It was fantastically organised. We came with a large group and were given a private room so they we did not disturb the quiz which worked fantastically for us. Getting served for drinks was quick. Our meals were pre booked and came out with speed and the odd missing items were quickly brought over and sorted. All of the food was fantastic quality and hot. Nothing had to be sent back - which is a first for this group! They also handled desserts fantastically, even though they were not pre ordered they still come use as easily. Paying at the end also worked well as families were able to quickly pay for their part of the meal without any issues.

Music far too loud at this pub. Impossible to have a conversation. Food poor.

Booked the meeting room at the towers inn. Jade organised for us offered tea coffee and lunch options. Room had av setup flip chart and water . Will be booking again

Went in last night had a mix grill. Fries was cold when they come out and onion rings was cooked in all I can say was dirty old oil tasted absolutely disgusting. Ended up leaving half my meal 😒 Not impressed never again.

Came here tonight and the quiz was great. The food was also 5 stars highly recommend the boss burger and the service was great too. Carrie who brought our food over was so polite and hardworking and even checked back to make sure we were happy with our food. Highly recommend.

Poor Customer service, Staff Not welcoming, You dont even get basic Hello or Please & Thank you when you get served, As most of the staff working there were miserable and food is Average.

Received a parking ticket for £100 yet was only in the car park for 17 minutes. No clear sign posting and staff didn’t say a thing or ask for my reg.

Recently visited here for food and I must say what a lovely pub! The food was outstanding and the customer service second to non! Special mention to one of your members of staff Jade, couldn’t do enough for us and what lovely manners she has. Will definitely be coming again very soon!

Seven of us had a very enjoyable lunch at the towers, the pub was busy but the service couldn't have been any better. Our large table was great just what we needed the food came quickly just what you need with children all of our orders were superb, Good portions and piping hot. The childrens £1 deal is a great offer. Deserts were very generous as well. Back to the staff who were very good they even called us after we left when one of us left a wallet behind. Really appreciated.

Was incredibly busy, with few staff. But Kerry and Jade made sure we didn't have to wait for our drinks & food for too long. Exceptional service! The food was great too!

Haven't been to my local for a while, went for a meal and drink and ate outside as weather was good. Had tandoori chicken skewers and sharing dessert and both were really nice. Service was good and will definitely use more often.

Love the towers normally but on the visit the food was a bit bland compared to other times and the food wasn't cooked like it normally is what a shame really I not be going there again in a rush father in law ended up with belly ache and next morning was sick.

Great staff very helpful when ordering meals

Lived near here for over 4 years and decided the night before to book a table and to watch the England semi final. Staff were all very welcoming and the food was really nice. The evening was so pleasant that I booked another table for the final. Was phoned day after to confirm the booking and they had no issues when I added 2 more people even though it meant having to move the table. On the evening was a live band on and a really good atmosphere (well it was supposed to be coming home).Not once were we made to feel like new faces or unwelcomed by any of the locals and considering how busy they where the food was again really nice and tasty. We all said we will happily take a walk up and visit it more often. .

Wish I could give it zero stars because that’s what this pub deserves I come to watch the football with family all the staff are rude you don’t feel welcome and you just want to get out soon as your in here the whole atmosphere is just awful I don’t rate this place at all

I have had mixed experiences at this pub in the past, but lately, it has been nothing but positive. The food is served in reasonable time, prepared how we have requested and the staff are very friendly. The only issue is that when ordering on the app, some items seem to be always missing or not available, most notably, smaller sized drinks. However, when I order at the bar, they are not out of stock at all. All in all, a nice pub to have a meal at and throw back a few drinks.

Had my daughter 18th in the family room. excellent service and the bronze buffet was well worth the money. Lovely atmosphere,lovely staff so helpful.

Its was alright for the afternoon but later on did not enjoy the music it was too loud, while eating. Food & drinks were okay could of done with some more flavourings, Would like to have seen some cider on tap like Stowfords or Inches. The two waiters were quick at bringing the food out and cleaning the table. The bar staff were friendly. Large free open carpark, but you have to remember to register your car inside

Amazing value for money! Menu has changed and it's to die for. Lots of tasty treats. Do recommend! I ordered the greek burger and it was just what I needed

Popped in for food a big group of us, they was very accommodating making sure we was all sat together and all comfortable food was lovely and the staff was all very friendly all an all it was a lovely experience.

So popped in the towers for lunch on Friday 26th April , had mozzarella sticks as a starter an a old faiful burger for main an was upsold by the waitress to add a sf burger on it an curly fries an a pot off beef dripping which went well I with the burger! I need give a big thanks to the lady I believe was called Kerri she went above and beyond, she welcomed me In the pub a then served me and ran the food alone also a check back. Couldn’t thank her enough for being so comforting an happy an welcome this girl deserves to progress an be a manager a lot of other guest seemed very impressed

Lovely pub and delicious food off a new menu. Unfortunately the service was lacking and meals came out very disjointed. We were a party of 7...2 meals arrived....then 10 mins later another 2 (but these came with items missing) then another 7 mins and two more, then another long pause and the rest of the second meals came out... then another break before the final meal came out...also missing items...I think I gave up asking at this point ! I would recommend because the food and atmosphere is great...but I would advise parties of more than 2 to be prepared in shifts. Maybe a little staff training would help as the young lady serving really didn't want to be there and the young lad just looked confused.

Excellent food, the new menu is 10/10! We had the tandoori’s skewers and they were exceptional! The bar staff were very accommodating and did an amazing job!
