Best fish and chips ever. I never go anywhere else. Portion size is excellent value for money but more importantly tastes so good and no dripping oil so doesnt leave you feeling guilty after indulging. Great people delivering service with a smile, very friendly and caring.

With food prices soaring and people careful with disposable cash; Chip Stop makes a great choice. Prices and portions are fantastic. For doner meat and chips (it comes as a set price £6:00) it came as a large! Other chippies with the same price or more are less generous with meat portions. The menu is short and easy to choose from; only cooking food that sells well and fresh to order. As soon as you enter, you feel that it’s family run and staff very welcoming. If fast food is what you want or expect (food quickly cooked or food left on the heater for ages); then this place isn’t one of them. You will have to wait for 5-10mins as it’s always busy and busy with orders. Walk ins are still available and the lady who serves you is very knowledgeable and friendly. She will tell you straight away how long it will take. Food is constantly being cooked fresh. I always judge places by have many customers are there. There is ample spaces for parking, you will find cars parked and waiting with customers waiting patiently inside. Is the waiting worth it? Definitely and fantastic monetary value. 9/10

Something was wrong delivery late

The man was on foot and was late, it did come when it has showed on top and wasn’t very warm. He said he got lost

Waiting time is ages I have no problem with the service lady has always been kind I just fink that more fryers could be put in place so more chips and things can be done so less of a waiting time for people and less stress for the lady that works there as I feel alot is put on her

Usually an alright chippy but this evening we waited over 20mins for a small order. The doner wrap I ordered looked like it had been dipped in oil before being wrapped causing the garlic mayo to separate, yet the doner meat my partner had was perfectly okay.

A little bit gutted as it’s my fav chip shop and I called in advance to request specific things. All ignored. Really unlike this

Didn't get what I ordered! I've specifically asked for chilli mayo and salad on my kebabs and didn't get any.

Slowest service in the world only went if for a bag of chips had to wait 20 mins and there was only 1 other person who had already ordered. Had kids running around too. Loads of bits of food on floor behind counter. Only good thing is the food is nice.

THE FOOD IS ALWAYS DELIVERED HOT AND FRESH. THE LARGE COD FISH IS HUGE AND ALWAYS COOKED PERFECTLY... JUICY AND FLAKES APART. THE STAFF ARE REALLY FRIENDLY AND WILL ACCOMMODATE ANY EXTRA REQUESTS. EXCELLENT FOOD ALWAYS.

Chips are served freshly cooked with good portion sizes. No vegan options & the pasties are not recommended.
