Is it crane as in a bird, a crane as in the tall things that move things? Think there was an Andy Crane tv guy too, might be a tribute to him.

It a good decent place to go with the family to eat, they have a good sized garden area for when the weather is nice with plenty of room for the kids to play. Can get a bit rowdy in the bar when there’s a football game on.

Really friendly pub… family oriented place… food was perfect… didn’t wait long …Kyle was as superb with assisting we had all we needed down to sauce cutlery and standards of the food would definitely recommend il be back soon thank you ☺️

This has become my favourite pub over the years. Staff are all so helpful and try to make everybody happy, especially Izzy, Harry and Megan. Quiz host Bex makes every Sunday fun too!!!

Me and my husband went for a meal for my birthday 3rd of may the food was excellent, and Codi was amazing he was very polite and full of smiles and nothing was too much trouble, he also asked if we needed anything else or any more drinks or desserts. I have been in catering for 20 years and he was like a breath of fresh air THANK YOU CODI will be coming back very soon

Come here regularly staff are friendly and helpful. A good selection of drinks and food is always nice and some excellent deals on the food. Thank you to Shannon and Sarah And the chefs in the kitchen Family friendly and love the entertainment here too.

Lovely pub ideal for a family. Play area outside for the kids keep them busy in the sun. Great drink offers and food offers throughout. Megan’s really helpful with offers we can use.

Amazing pub! Great beer garden and lovey play area outside for the kids. Bottle deals are really good. Mix and match for £7! Megan was really helpful in showing me offers and deals!

Good atmosphere, but same as any Greene King pub - one person on the bar serving 6 people. But otherwise, service as you'd expect.

I use the crane regularly, at least once a week. The food is good. I always ask for Newcastle Brown to drink. They often don't have it or get it from the cellar warm, often served with a grin. Why?.. How about keep the fridge stocked and serve it with a smile as the joke is wearing thin, so I'm considering wearing the soles of my shoes thinner going somewhere else. Also, employ more staff! Please...

Lovely pub, come here with my family for food and drink. Very good drink deals and good weekly food deals. The steak is particularly nice and the lasagne. The staff are all lovely and welcoming. Highly recommend the crane kaytie was so helpful

I went to the crane with a few friends for lunch and the service we received was amazing. Maddie our server on the floor done everything we need to make sure that it was a enjoyable experience. Highly recommend.

Another visit to this pub and served Kyle and Madison, it is so nice to see 2 youngsters so enthusiastic about their job. They chatted to our children and gave them some colouring to do. I hope the management really appreciate these 2. We look forward to our next visit.

Family meal and 2 peoples meals came out, burger bun was solid and burnt. Chicken was rock hard. Next 3 meals came out 30 mins later. Only thing warm on plate was chips. Which was Luke warm . Wont be going again.

Fair size car park , entrance has steps . Family friendly. Inside good seating choice. Bar well stocked , food good selection with different deals each day . Nothing special but fir a family meal it's value for money.

I come into the Crane having admittedly never heard of it, but what a little gem it is. First off Shannon on the bar was lovely, attentive, and went the extra mile to make my experience better. The food was delightful, well needed after a long day, these Katsu Banquets are TO DIE FOR. I highly recommend this place!!!

I've been going into The Crane for around 3 years now, and it is my 'go to' pub in the area. A friendly atmosphere, staff are friendly and welcoming. Since I have been visiting The Crane, I have seen some positive improvements with the interior and exterior since I first visited. There is always plenty of entertainment from quiz nights, karaoke, singers, and even during the daytime to keep children entertained with magic shows and animal experiences. Food is good and priced well with offers on throughout the week.

I have been coming to the crane for many years as I live local. The food is cooked to a good quality, and priced reasonably. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and always seem happy to help you. My 5 year old son loves it here, the garden, the toy machine and the staff he interacts with. Good all round day/night local pub. Can't fault the staff one bit.

Came today for some drinks with mates, for the New Years. Food here is lovely and the bar staff go above and beyond for you especially Shannon and Sarah. Couldn't recommend this place more, great atmosphere, great place and amazing service!

We came here with friends for dinner a very nice meal as all ways our friends had never been there before but we go there quite regularly we enjoyed the food and the staff are always friendly and place always welcome

Great atmosphere and service in the bar area and great food in restaurant area. I had a lovely falafel wrap and salt a pepper fries which came in less than 10 minutes. Would recommend.

we went today for a Christmas dinner menu.i use this pub regularly but I don't what happened today we waiting ages for food.it took 2.5hrs for 3 courses.the tables were left uncleared for most of the time and It wasn't very busy in there either.

Shocked to be told today that if I wanted a Christmas dinner that I have to order it. As It’s not cooked on site and only warmed up. I wouldn’t want to come into a place to eat knowing the food I’m eating isn’t fresh and cooked off site. I’m better off buying a frozen meal and cooking that. As there’s no difference is there.

Cheap and good restaurant, quiz evening on Sunday, parking right in front of the door

Excellent visit yet again. Fabulous FREE half term events for the little ones on offer everyday. We enjoyed lunch there and was over the moon to receive a great discount at the till, with Feed the family for £15. Always amazing food and service at The Crane.

Great pub, excellent food.. the staff are always friendly and very accommodating. There are always deals on through the week so not expensive, has 2 areas so a bar for the lads and a nice family area for eating.

This place is a great restaurant to eat at, weather that is with family or friends. The food is professionally cooked and i’ve never had a problem with it and the workers have great customer service. Overall I highly recommend this restaurant to anybody near the area.

Came in yesterday, lovely atmosphere, Sarah was lively on the bar and Kyle was very welcoming and is lovely to talk to. Will definitely be coming back again soon

Had the sizzling steak, quite tasteless sadly. Not seasoned and the onions and peppers were overcooked. Corn on the cob was cool, butter wouldn't melt and it was soft. Coleslaw was decent.

I visited the crane on Wednesday the 9th and it was really pleasant. Food was lovely and service from Madison and Macie was great

Our visit was on a Friday, around 7.00pm, so it was very busy, but the food was worth the small wait, as it was very tasty. Great place for offers on food and drinks.
