The best hotel to stay in in London The rooms' view of the Tower Bridge and the lobby is large and luxurious And far from the Arab areas and their presence But everything is close to you And close to Tower Hill train station It is also close to Knight Bridge station More than once I live in London

Im giving this place 2 stars because of our experience. I was staying here with my two sisters, and we were staying in a two persons room, so naturally they made an bedding. This arrangement is something else.. You practically lay on the floor, when you thought you would be laying in a comfortable bed. The other thing.. the toilets here are HORROR. The toiletpaper wont flush and just floats at the top. I have to pull the lever atleast 5 TIMES. Before it actually flushes (this doesnt help flush the paper tho). I am NOT happy.

Tower Hotel is near the Tower Bridge with lots of shops and places to eat. I gave the hotel 4 stars because my room was colder than I like. It never got warmer than 16c for 1 day, now it's at 18c when I am leaving even with a small heater. Everything else was fine.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Tower Hotel London, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive, making me feel right at home.

Stayed at the Tower Hotel one night 17th- 18th January 2025 as we had tickets for a show and wanted to make a night out a bit special. On arrival easy check-in where we quickly obtained our room key to 701. We had a type of mini suite on the 7th floor, first impressions were good a large room outstanding views over St Katherine’s Dock and in the background stunning views of Canary Wharf. The hotel is adjacent to Tower Bridge which again looked stunning a short walking distance to The Tower of London and Tower Peir for the River Boats. On closer inspection to our room, it was very tired. Lots of scratches to furniture, handles missing and a few stains on the carpet. Bed was comfy and the sheets were very clean. The bathroom looked very tired as well, very much ineed of refurbishment. We had dinner in the Vicinity Restaurant and at £56, for two mains and drinks very reasonable. Unfortunately, breakfast wasn’t so good. £44 for 2 for a buffet breakfast that was either very over cooked or under cooked, in fact was very shocked how pretty dismal breakfast was. For example, eggs very over done and dry, bacon cooked within an inch of its life, plus other items that looked very under done, and coffee that was dispensed from the machines was hideous. I expected a top end breakfast for that £44 price this clearly wasn’t! DO NOT PAY FOR BREAKFAST HERE! Instead go to the St Katherin’s Café less than a minutes’ walk from the hotel, food was fabulous and at half the price of hotel. In summary it’s ok for a short period of time but the whole place needs a refurb. It’s a massive old 70’s building. Breakfast needs sorting out it really was pitiful and speaking to an American couple who were there they were very disappointed. We paid £90 for one night via Priceline on the Kayak App. Would we stay here again 50/50, I certainly would not eat here especially for the number of eateries in close proximity.

They’re buying fake reviews, be wary of the 5 stars you’re getting

I can't give 4 stars to this hotel. Despite having a privileged location, with a beautiful view of Tower Bridge, the bathroom is dirty, the bathtub has brown marks that disappear as I step on it with flip-flops, they don't use a glass shower, they use curtains and the entire bathroom gets wet after the first shower. , this part was very uncomfortable, I was disappointed because this hotel has the potential to be much better.

This hotel has just the perfect location. View of the exceptional tower bridge, 12 minutes walk from the 1st metro. Restaurants nearby and a beautiful little marina at the foot of the hotel. Apart from that, the welcome was just courteous, the staff did not speak French... for a 4* hotel it is a little disappointing, the rooms are shabby with only one small additional heating programmed which does not guarantee not a good room temperature. The bedding is very poor and severe lower back pain accompanied our awakenings. No trash can in the room and above all, cleaning not carried out during our 4-day stay, meaning the carpet did not see the vacuum cleaner 🤮 The breakfast, although varied, is of very poor quality.

We spent a few nights here and had a fantastic experience. The check-in process was quick, and the staff were courteous. Our room was spotless and well-maintained. Interestingly, we were above a disco/bar, which was a bit unusual. However, the loud music ceased at midnight. The location was incredibly convenient.

Rooms were very cold, reported a few times but no one could help us..

Structure located in one of the most characteristic areas of London. Large and comfortable rooms, breakfast could be improved. The view of the bridge from the hotel bar is beautiful and evocative, especially at night.

We paid up front for 7 rooms, most of them for a week, for a business collab week. Unfortunately due to sickness we requested to move them back by a few weeks and pay any extra due. The hotel flatly refused. They wouldn't do anything to help us whatsoever and their service has been shocking. A very short sighted move as we had been trying this out as a new location for frequent large scale business bookings. There are plenty of other great hotels in London that will appreciate your business more.

We booked a klm deal from Amsterdam 2 London incl hotel for 2 nights. I was really scared reading some reviews beforehand. The hotel is huugee, with more than 800 rooms which obviously dont all have a great view. We had emailed beforehand to ask for a room with a view and were offered this upgrade upon arrival for 100 pounds for 2 nights. We took it and personally, I think it was well worth it. We stayed on the 8th floor, room 857, and our room was in order and clean. We had cleaners who asked everyday if we wanted the room cleaned (if you decline, you get a 7 pound voucher to spend in the hotel). Montserat (I hope I am spelling this right) gave us a warm welcome and checked in with us after to know if our stay and room was ok. All the staff we encounterd were lovely and helpfull, with the exception of a maintenance person who seemed to be having an off day. We loved the room, the view and the location was just amazing. Worth the upgrade. Would have liked outlets by the bedside, but we survived without. Everything else in the room worked and was clean. With so many rooms, I think it really makes a huge difference where and what sort of room you get. There is a different price range for a reason. We enjoyed our stay.

Complete and utter grifters. I booked a room here through Booking.com and in spite of my card details being valid and my account having sufficient funds, they were apparently unable to charge said card through the Booking platform. I asked them to retry and even provided a second card, but their customer service would rudely respond with single-word replies, such as "declined"; these were often misspelled. This was then followed with an attempt to pay off-platform via an emailed form, which is a huge scam vector and in fact a violation of Booking.com's partner ToS. I have zero trust in this hotel and their parent company.

There are great qualities associated with this hotel: 1. The location. Close to so many historic and modern attractions . 2. The view (see photo). 3. The staff. Welcoming, attentive, helpful, always courteous.

A disappointing experience for a 4 star hotel I am currently staying for 3 nights at the Tower Hotel in London, and I am extremely disappointed. This is the first time that I have noticed, in a hotel of this standard, the absence of a daily room cleaning service. The bath towels are not changed, the bed is not made, and no effort is visible to maintain a minimum of comfort. For an establishment that claims to be 4 stars, this is simply unacceptable and unworthy of the price charged. I didn't expect such negligence in such a reputable hotel. A real disillusionment for what should have been a quality experience.

It is certainly not a charming hotel but it is in a unique location and everything in the hotel works perfectly. The rooms are wooden with large windows overlooking either the private dock or directly over the Thames and Tower Bridge.

The view of Tower Bridge was so nice 💙 It was obvious that it was an old building, but the rooms were clean. The downside was that the room was a bit small and there were too many people inside the hotel, so I had to wait for a long time for the elevator. Breakfast was better than I expected!

Everything about this hotel was marvellous. From the efficient check-in,to the rooms, the staff,the food,the location all marvelous.

Hotel in a strategic position near the subway and in front of the Tower Bridge, rooms not very large but comfortable, the rooms with a view of the Bridge are very suggestive but also those on the opposite side as they overlook a small port and with several rooms. In this pre-Christmas period everything decorated and lit up is very beautiful. In the hotel there is also a restaurant on the ground floor and a bar on the first floor where you can have cocktails and admire the Tower Bridge. I would happily return.

Love the fact that it is Opposite Tower Bridge , at night that's the most Beautiful Sight of the bridge. Also Close by to the Underground. Reason for my room 4 star was that the heat wasn't working but otherwise good.

Beautiful Hotel, very clean and the Christmas decor was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough, our suitcases were taken to our rooms while we went to explore the area. The room was lovely, very cosy and with a beautiful view of Tower bridge, it was perfect all round

Very run down hotel with great location and good service. This is our third time here and unfortunately it will probably be the last time. The rooms are now very shabby, everything is somehow broken and no longer looks nice. The toilet was loose, there was mold everywhere in the joints near the bathtub. The furniture is scuffed and scratched and the double bed is very small. We got a new room because the toilet was really unusable. There are no toilet brushes in any of the rooms. The new room is better, but also completely outdated. There was a stain on the bed sheet and several on the carpet. The tap can only be opened with a lot of force. There is an urgent need to invest here. Unfortunately the rooms were also very cold. There was no electricity at the bed, only at the desk. There are even connections for fax or modem in the room... that says a lot about the age of the facility. The view from the room was amazing - directly onto Tower Bridge. The location is also almost perfect and the service is really friendly. However, this no longer consoles the extreme poor condition of the hotel. We can no longer recommend it and are very sad about it. In 2017 and 2019 this was significantly better. Unfortunately the price is far too high for the age of the rooms and the hotel. It no longer comes close to a 4 star hotel. Breakfast is expensive, but the quality is ok.

Just checked into a suite here and very underwhelmed. Man on reception couldn’t manage a smile let alone a ‘welcome’. No one offering to help take luggage when it was obvious we had a lot of bags. No walk in showers - I couldn’t get my head under the shower head that’s above a bath. And worst of all they told me to expect to wait 15-20 minutes to get hot water. Bit of a joke for £350 per night.

The hotel is a complete disaster. Totally outdated and worn out. Everything in the rooms is worn, damaged or dirty. Absolutely no recommendation for the price. The service is OK. After our complaint we got a new room. Unfortunately, this wasn't much better either, as all the rooms in the hotel were getting old. Another highlight is the regular smell of fish throughout the hotel and especially in the rooms. You can only use the stairwell if you hold your breath first. Unfortunately this is very often necessary due to the elevator situation… The only good thing about the hotel is the location and the view of Tower Bridge. But that doesn't justify 4 stars and the prices that are charged for it.

We stayed from 28th October until 2nd November in a twin room. We were extremely impressed with the hotel - location, staff and service. The Tower Hill tube station was within easy walking distance as well as many famous landmarks/attractions nearby (Tower Bridge, Sky Garden etc). The staff were very friendly, welcoming and on the ball. The twin-bed room was great - clean, great view, shower and room servicing every day. Very comfortable beds and breathable cotton sheets. The kettle was definitely useful! The only downside is the lifts. Only 4 lifts. We got on at the ground floor during busy times and ended up waiting 15 minutes in the lift just to get to floor 10 because for some reason other floors were priority and ours was missed multiple times. We would definitely stay here again.

It is an old hotel, and it maintains its facilities as at the beginning, it is evident that it has not been remodeled in many years, but it meets expectations, although in most of the rooms the climate does not work (so they leave you a heater that is connect to the light)… the location of the hotel and the views it offers are incredible!!! The buffet breakfast is good, in general everything is good!

The rooms with a tower view are in a great location. The view was simply magnificent. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas. We'd love to come back.

Drawer pulls missing, sink in bathroom has a hot faucet and a cold, so you either freeze or burn your hands while washing them. Bathroom needs updating and so does furniture in the room.

If the Hotel would not be located where it is, and some off the people working there would not be as nice as they are, I guess our stay (for our anniversary!) could not be worse than here. Usually we stay at 3stars for a City trip. We thought let's do an upgrade and we could not be more surprised of what we booked. The Hotel is run down, also the rooms, but the Bathroom is just disguisting. It is so rundown and in bad shape, that you cannot tell if it is dirty or just very old. Breakfast would be quiet okay, but chatting staff in your way is not rare to find...I had to get out of there way more than once. We rarely feel welcome. It would be such a great place, but a renovation asap is a must. The location it self is not worth the price.

Having booked a room, with a Bridge View, we were given a room WITHOUT a bridge view. We went back to reception to complain and were told we hadn't booked a room with Bridge View. Showed them my booking confirmation and they said the only way we could get what we had booked was to pay an additional £40. We weren't going to do this as we'd already paid extra via Booking.com. They offered us a twin room with a view , a compromise we had to make although not overly happy as it was our Wedding Anniversary. The room had a lovely view but room itself had mould on the walls, not only in the bathroom but in the bedroom too. A plug in oil filled radiator was the only firm of heating. Window handle was broken so wouldn't open. Not happy as had paid £198 for this room which did NOT include parking (£25) and breakfast (£22 per head) Will not be recommending!!

Very dated feel to the hotel itself. Breakfast buffet is not worth £22 pp, the plates were not clean and some were cracked. Options were quite limited. The room has no amenities apart from two bottles of small water, bathroom was hard to navigate. If one wants to be in a time warp this is the place to be. Obviously not every room has a view of tower bridge or the Tower of London. So unless you have a view of the tower bridge that’s nice but otherwise not worth the money

Unfortunately, our stay in this hotel room did not meet the expectations of a 4-star hotel. It was very cold as there was only a small electric heater available that didn't provide enough heat. The cleanliness also left a lot to be desired and the room overall seemed very shabby. The excellent location of the hotel and the view from the room should be positively highlighted. The breakfast was also good, but overall the price was far too high compared to the service offered. I expect significantly more for a 4-star hotel. Another drawback was that there was no toilet brush - when I arrived I had to clean the toilet myself, something I've never experienced in any hotel before. Overall, unfortunately a disappointing experience that does not meet the standards of a 4 star hotel.

Beautiful hotel, great views right next to Tower bridge. Staff were professional, polite and helpful. My first time home in London for 2 years and loved every minute. I usually hate rain but it dried up and I walked miles around the city and met some great people. I would love to have gone into the tower because my son was based there with the Welsh Guards, but there was so much more of London I wanted to see in a short space of time. It's still the best city in the world

Way too big hotel. Terrible experience wasted a lot of money, Inconveniently located Compared to if you want to go to the center you have to have several shifts, it is a large hotel there were three elevators that worked, the 4 did not run, breakfast, you stood in long queues, there was a canteen atmosphere, sad food, etc, it didn't make it any better that the fire alarm went off when we finally got our breakfast, after which we stood out on the street in our outerwear for a long time, afterwards we had to go up at seven hall as there were so many many people. When we arrived there were problems with the room Which had to be investigated. But we got a good service and dinner.

Do not stay at this hotel. I rarely bother leaving bad reviews but I make an exception for this place. The rooms are awful and the staff are completely ignorant and rude. Some rooms have no heating, I asked for a heater repeatedly and it just didn’t come. When I later complained I was called a liar and told I didn’t ask for one and told that the ‘cold is just a feeling’. No hint of apology at all. Horrible, horrible people.

It is a hotel that may have been very good in another era. That era is already extinct. Now only flashes of that moment remain. It shows that its facilities have not been improved much. Breakfast is very good. The rooms are cold. The heating does not reach more than 20 degrees Celsius. The staff speaks very basic English that is difficult to understand. 95 percent of the staff is not of Anglo-Saxon origin and cannot be understood when they speak. It is only cashless and it is also very expensive. The bar makes generally good drinks and the food is pretty good.

Hello, so I recommend this hotel to you. The rooms are top notch, the service, the staff very friendly and so on. Very strategic location of a hotel, really nothing to say bravooo!!!

Our bathroom smelt damp and mouldy. We tried to call reception on the phone to report the problem, but the phone didn't work. It's a massive bed factory and our room was some distance from reception, so we had to report the problem to reception as we left the hotel to go out for the evening. I pointed out that it was the shower curtain and they said that they would get housekeeping to attend to it. When we returned to the room later that evening the problem persisted and both the bathroom and bedroom smelt rank all night. In the morning at 9-00 someone next door started drilling which woke us up. This experience would suggest that their expensive rates are too high and that they owe us some kind of refund.

Great place to bunk in for the weekend if you come to town. Excellent rooms, excellent room service and serene ambience. 👌

December 2023 Christmas: The perfect location next to the river, the Tower of London and with good communication.. The bed is big, but the toilet is small, narrow and with white tiles (old, needs to be modernized). The breakfast service a little short, more things would be missing.... BUT MOSTLY what I DON'T LIKE about the website is that THEY ONLY SPEAK ENGLISH

I was worried because there were some bad reviews, but the staff responded kindly. (However, when I left my luggage, the black staff member responded very rudely, which made me feel bad. He seemed to have a bad opinion of Asians.) I booked a Tower Bridge view room, but the river view room was slightly larger. Nevertheless, the atmosphere was really nice in the evening. I ate food packed from Borough Market and fruit I bought from the supermarket while looking at the night view, and the view was so good that I couldn't remember any of the inconveniences of the room. I think it's okay for a 1-2 night stay. disadvantage 1. It says there is a refrigerator, but there is no refrigerator. 2. No USB charging terminal 3. Windows won't open 4. Floor carpet 5. The water temperature must be adjusted by turning on the bathroom faucet (hot/cold water) separately. 6. Unfriendly black staff at luggage storage area merit 1. The view relieves all the fatigue of travel.

I had a great experience staying at The Tower Hotel! I had a lovely room overlooking the St Katherine’s Docks which was gorgeous to wake up to. Breakfast was always delicious and there were lots of different options - cooked breakfast, pancakes, cereal, fruit, yoghurt and pastries. The staff were helpful and attentive. Worth booking in advance as the prices do vary massively.

Pretty good service, it's worth booking. The price is as good as you can afford, and locaion is really ideal.And you can have a good view if your floor is above 10th, I have had good time in London, and thanks to this hotel, it made the trip worthy. 5 starts definitely.

The rooms were good enough but a bit well used in places, the view of the Tower Bridge made up for any deficite though. We were supposed to get a executive room but on booking in we were given a standard room instead with no explanation. When we queried this we were told the room we booked required repairing. We did get complimentary breakfast as compensation. The location of the hotel is perfect for central London and 5 minutes away from Tower Bridge tube station.

Genuinely such a disgusting hotel. The hallways smelled moldy and musty, and the time it took to call an elevator was insane. The rooms looked and felt like they haven't been updated since the 90's. The shower tiles had mold everywhere and the entire room felt like it hadn't been cleaned - we slept in full sweat suits because we were so disgusted which was a problem in itself considering the AC didn't work and the hotel was so hot. The view of the bridge is pretty, but not in a great location if you want to see anything else. I don't think the view outweighs all of the cons in the slightest. Would truly never recommend this hotel.

I didnt actually stay here...only for parking. That said, the hotel is immaculate andcthe staff very polite and attentive. Location is next to Tower Bridge. Views are excellent, HMS Belfast just across the Thames. Tower of London a short 10 minute walk. There is a lovely glass Conservatory where you can enjoy the view with a drink and something to eat. I thought this was excellent. 5*

Great location and a very nice hotel. Our room was a bit outdated, but comfortable. The air conditioning didn't really work, but it was nice to get some air with the windows, it wasn't warm while we were there. The service was very good, as was the food. It's just a really great location and i'd highly recommend this hotel.

Great location and food was nice. Had issues with a/c not working and if it did come on it leaked water from ceiling unit onto floor. When mentioned to front desk, instead of moving us to a room with good a/c, they offered us a fan...lol. the building is very dated, and there is a wait to get an elevator ride.

I do not recommend The Tower Hotel in London. Upon arrival, we were given a room with no working AC in the heat of August. While the staff did move us to another room, which I appreciate, I specifically asked if the AC in the new room was working and was curtly told it was—unfortunately, it was not. At breakfast, they had no record of our prepaid meal, though the staff did resolve the issue quickly. Additionally, on two separate occasions, I overheard other guests complaining to staff about various issues, which reinforced my feeling that the hotel is poorly managed. Lastly, if you’re visiting from the US, be aware that bulky plug adapters may not fit in some rooms, as the outlets are placed awkwardly close to surfaces. While the staff was helpful overall, the hotel needs improvements. I give 3 stars due to the high overall staff quality.

My mom and I stayed during a vacation the rooms are pretty big and can sleep 2 or more people and stayed in a double bed room. The service was good and the location is awesome near famous landmarks like Tower Bridge, and other attractions.

The room is small and so is the bathroom. The towel rack heater in the bathroom didn't work and the hotel never addressed it when I complained. The bed was only so-so insofar as comfort. Service sucks. Do not expect to be treated with respect if you have a gluten allergy/Celiac's Disease. Elevators weren't working half the time, so if you are differently abled enjoy half your vacation waiting in the lobby. Staff was disrespectful outright and jerks when answering even basic questions. What a poor end to my vacation by this awful hotel. Avoid this place. It isn't worth the money and the staff and facilities are just awful.

We love it there,the room is so nice and the view just amazing. Everybody is nice there and everything is really clean. English beakfast all you need for a good start in a good day.

A little noise from ventilation

I stayed in this hotel 8 nights. As soon as we entered we had a quick check in with friendly and attentive staff. Our room was on the tenth floor with a really nice view of the Thames. Even though the room was small, it was very comfortable and had everything. The bathroom with the tub was not very comfortable as it was very high. But everything was clean and they changed towels every day. Starbucks inside the hotel is definitely a plus point with very friendly staff who remembered what we had every morning. A wonderful experience, we will definitely be back! Thank you

The view is truly the best 👍 I came here because today is my birthday. I am someone who once learned hotel management, and from the moment you enter a hotel, you can tell whether the hotel is 3-star, 4-star, or 5-star. The front desk here is occupied by people who aren't exactly 2-3 stars. “How are you?” The staff don't even give a basic greeting... It's really pathetic and I hope they realize how shameful it is for a 4-star hotel in London. Even going to an ice cream shop would be better than here. The room is on the 6th floor with a Tower Bridge view. The air conditioner is broken. They said they were coming to fix it, but like the reviews below, they are just lying and in the end they brought me a small air conditioner. This is really low level hotel service. I ordered room service and called after finishing my meal, but they didn't answer, so I called again and answered. If you are someone who works at a 4-star hotel who has learned properly, “How was the food service?” I would ask questions, etc... Just leave it outside.... The manager wants you to feel ashamed. The shower and faucet are not controlled, so water comes out at the same time... I can't believe I'm paying to rest in a place like this... I would rather enjoy the view outside to my heart's content... The standard of the hotel with a beautiful view is so low, is it London? It was to the point where I wanted to. I just laugh at the fact that I couldn't charge my phone because there was no USB port, which is everywhere these days haha.

The room was a bit shabby, the shower was too low, the shampoo was empty, the window was broken. Otherwise clean and quiet.

My family and I stayed at the Tower Hotel London during our trip to London this summer. I would recommend this hotel purely for the fantastic location! Honestly this hotel is perfectly situated for visitors looking to explore London from the river Thames via the uber boat system operated by Thames Clippers. We purchased the hop on - hop off two day family pass and found it to be the very best way to get around. The hotel its self is fairly average however its proximity to the beautiful Tower Bridge and ease of getting to other must see landmarks in London make it worth it. The breakfast option was well worth the extra as well. On our last evening we walked only 10 minutes from the hotel to Sky Garden for dinner and amazing views!

I just been there today at 15:20 and I delivered a family from Argentina. The place looks nice from outside however after I dropped off my clients the person in charge with the gates was "aggressively called me stupid idiot as I missed the exit" I never see him in my life I never hurt him there s no need for such behaviour. If you can help me ok if not it's ok to. Someone needs to speak with maybe he s having some mental issues or he don't like he's job. 2 stars as a first opinion as there might be nice people to.
