Great food for the price point in the city. The service is great for a “quick service” style restaurant.

The taste was fantastic, we where not expecting much but it was great, un incontournable.

It was horrible. The taste was so plain and bland. There was no salt in the dish. Service was slow. The prices portray the quality of the dishes..

Very good little Thai discovered quite by chance. Stir-fried noodles to die for at an unbeatable price. Very accommodating staff. We had just arrived in London and had a problem with exchange (old note), we were short £1 pounds to pay the bill in cash, the boss gave us a gift.

Very nice Pad Thai. Made by Thai people. Flavour was on point. They could have added more peanuts but overall for £10.50 with no service fee. A fair meal

Delicious, heavily accommodating, they are more than happy to change any part of the dishes for you. The service was exceptionally friendly! The food was top tier, very very tasty. And to top it all off the prices are fair, they definitely have an advantage on that as it’s actually cheap for London, without sacrificing portion sizes which were also generous. We will be returning here.

This used to be a good place for thai food cravings and reasonable with fast service, especially for lunch time, quick turnaround. I've to give them 2 star for food as food quality gone down and prices keep going up. Basic things don't meet standard, i.e., rice.

My favourite Thai restaurant in London! Try Tom yum noodle Thai style with pork / Thai pink noodle / nasigoreng fried rice! Amazing food, good price, great service. Highly recommended!

The food was excellent; I especially enjoyed the fried salmon. However, the service could use some improvement. Our group of four ordered together, but one dish, the fried egg rice, was initially missing. After about five minutes, they brought plain rice instead. We pointed out the mistake, and it took another ten minutes to receive the correct dish.

Nearly walked past this restaurant, it didn't look too appealing from the outside but it was busy so thought we'd give it a try. So glad we did, the food was delicious. Really good value, authentic Thai food, best I've had outside of Thailand. Service was great too. Will definitely be returning.

definitely get 86 SEE IEW GAI. Stir fried rice vermicelli noodles with chicken slices. Absolutely amazing. This wasn’t what I ordered, I liked mine but loved what my friend got!! Amazingly fast service. They did repeat 2x there is no service charge. I’d rather them add the service charge then feel pressured to tip. Overall the place is great. One thing that was a bit disappointing about only 2 spring rolls for £7 but to be fair they were duck. Regardless I’d really recommend going.

Mudmee's customer service is in the MUD. Things started out fine, our waiter was a lovely young man. When our mains came, my wife found a hair in her rice. We told the waiter who told his boss about this. She began to speak in Taiwanese or some other language with another colleague all the way looking and picking through the food to "find" the hair that we had found - she removed it and said there was no hair. After denying that there was a hair in our food, and even saying that we mistook the hair for a chilli flake 🙄, I told her that we wouldn't bring this up if there was no issue. She again denied that there was a hair in our food and walked away. No resolution, no apology for inconvenience, nothing. Very disappointing. We paid for the food and swiftly left. Oh, and the toilets are disgusting, I dread to think about the state of the kitchen.

Always a friendly welcome when we go to Mudmee restaurant, the food, the atmosphere, the service Always good. Its a great restaurant around the back streets of Liverpool Street. We'll worth the effort to find.

Food super tasty. The service was nice, but they talked very loudly and the atmosphere was not very pleasant. As for the place, it's a bit old bar with a specific smell. Could use some renovation. Besides, the food is really very tasty.

A very good authentic Thai restaurant and reasonably priced for London City. It never fails me and the service is efficient and quick. You need to book in advance to guarantee a table.

The food portions were incredibly small for the price. The dishes I have included were 10.50 pounds each. The service was amazing and the taste of the food and atmosphere reminded me of thailand, but the portions of the food was very dissappointing. They seem like very nice people I hope they can improve business somehow to afford for the price of food they are charging. Aside from the portion size, the food tasted very nice. But it was a dissapointing dinner with my family.

Excellent Thai spot, always busy and seems tiny from outside, but the seating upstairs offers an additional space. Quick service and tasty food (soups, pho and curries are at the top of the list), for a very reasonable prices. We will definitely come back again.

The pad Thai was tasteless and had a burnt aftertaste. It didn't have peanuts or any lime slice to season it. The service was quite dry and unfriendly.

Was lively and busy inside, likely just due to the location. I had a Tom Yum Gong and my girlfriend had the Pas Thai. The Tom Yum was labelled as 2 chillis spicy but it barely had any flavour and had no chilli at all, which was diappointing. The pad thai was also bland, and did not come with the customary peanuts or lime wedge. I tried to get the waiters attention (to be fair they were very busy) but couldn't make eye contact for a good 10 minutes. I wanted to ask for chilli oil and soy sauce to add some flavour was all, and this should be offered when giving the food. Overall left feeling underwhelmed and a little disappointed.

Wow! The food was absolutely amazing. The thai green curry was perfect and ribs amazing. We were a little slow getting our rice and they did not come with the mains. That was our only gripe

Food was pretty decent but place has an awful smell. Smells like a smelly cloth wiped everything. Would strongly recommend changing the cloths to start and hiring professionals to clean the place.

Food was just shy of being authentic, but overall decent establishment. Good value for money.

Quality of food at this price is superb, but service can be slow when busy. Atmosphere can be a bit noisy if you are looking for somewhere quiet. If you are ok with that, it could be seen as lively.

Food was amazing. Service is really bad. I brought a coffee in which I said I wouldn’t be drinking but the server was very rude to me about it.

Lovely little find in Liverpool Street on a freezing evening. Place was packed. We had appetisers for 2, lamb massaman for me and crying tiger for my hubby. Coconut rice and a small noodles. All quite obviously home cooked,not bought in. Real meat, not that processed chicken and steak you sometimes get in Thai restaurants. Service was efficient and friendly and bill was reasonable £85 including a tip. Starters, mains, 2 beers, 2 bacardi and coke. Place is a little worn, an older building and could use a little face-lift but food sold it. Would visit again.

Horrible customer service. My noodles had a burnt flavour to them so I told the waiter. They didn’t believed me and after having spoken to 4 separate waiters, each of whom them told me that I should have notified them straight away and not eaten it. I was only in the restaurant for 30 mins and I with with a friend ( we ordered stares and mains) It was clear that my plate was still untouched, obvs I had a couple of bites and noticed it tasted off but the plate was still full! if I hadn’t tried it how would I have known about the burnt flavour! The staff were rude and dismissive and did not try to accommodate. It seems like a fast food type joint, no good quality ingredients with a side of poor manners by the team. Shocking and unacceptable.

Was going to old haunt in Spitalfield market when I used to work in the City to get my old cheap and cheerful Thai curry from some street food stall. Was very tasty and filling. Was so looking forward to it. Shame that the market is done up now and full of pretentious little food stalls all charging extortionate amount for a bit of street food in a cardboard box. Eating out in the cold. Disappointed and hungry I left and walked passed this little place. The prices they were charging are less than the market stalls. And you get a table service and eat in somewhere warm. So gave it a try. Ok, yes, the place does smell off. Damp problem? Diffuser don't quite masked it. Anyway, order something from the Express menu. Not disappointed. All tasty; could do with it being a bit more spiced up. Don't tone it down! But could ask for the chilli on the side. That's hot! Plenty more choices on the menu. Seems fairly authentic. Not going to moan, since it is in the City district - fair enough in a little alley way. Cheap prices. Good value for money. Good service from the staff. Definitely will come back when in the area again. And won't waste my time with those in the market.

The stellar reviews below baffle me, are these people who have never had Thai food before?! I came here on a weekday evening. When you walk in, there is an awful stench to the place, as if doors and windows haven’t been opened in years (which is probably the case). The starters were alright, but the mains were an abomination. The pad thai was incredibly bitter and burnt, it tasted as if they burnt golden syrup on the pan and then chucked in all the ingredients, it tasted off and very bad. No 34 on the menu, the sweet chilli chicken was dry as cardboard chicken breast with no seasoning on two lettuce leaves, with a sweet chilli sauce on the side in a pot that did nothing to improve the dryness or tastelessness of the dish. When I sent the pad thai back, 4 waiters came over to say the same thing: ‘you had a spoon from it so we’re gonna charge you for it’. Wow! Just wow! So if I hadn’t taken a spoon from the dish to taste it, they would’ve given it to the table next to me. Absolutely appalled by the food, the service. Stay away from this vile restaurant.

The food here is definitely the best Thai food I've had in the UK. It's also very well priced for where is is in London. We got here early at lunch time and there were only a few tables taken. A short while later the place was pretty full, so get there early!

Fabulous atmosphere, service was brilliant, and the food was simply outstanding! Ordered spring rolls and chicken satay skewers for starters and coconut rice and Thai green curry for mains, and the food was spot on. Highly recommend it!

Contrary to multiple popular reviews, this place is not very good. The restaurant is damp and they try to cover it with an over-perfumed, sickly fragrance diffuser. Disappointingly the food was below average. Small portions and overcooked protein. There are far better restaurant options around this busy area. The service from the young girl was lovely.

Visited here on a Tuesday evening and thoroughly enjoyed it! The food is good quality, extremely tasty and complimented by the service. Wonderful! Unfortunately I have no pictures of the food as I ate it too quick but must recommend the fish cakes as a starter... A MUST! Very good Som Tum too!

Excellent Thai food. This is a good place to go as a small or large group. The menu is large and I've only eaten from the last page. It's good.

Serviceable Thai food with a really big menu (always a plus). The wonton dumplings were very good, but they should work a little more on the flavour (maybe more depth, more fat, or a hint of spice) and they'll be perfect. The staff are really nice. It's basically a hole in the wall, so it's not really a place for large and clumsy people :)

This place is a little gem. Hidden away. Perfect for lunch or dinner. Very tasty food. Service is good. Restaurant is clean. A wide variety of dishes. Absolutely loved it. Deffo one of my favourites.

Always great. My neighbourhood Thai restaurant

I can not recommend this place highly enough. I often walk down this road and see restaurants I want to try so decided to do something I don't usually do in London - not book in advance, wander down there and see what we fancied. We arrived at about 6.30pm on a sunny Wednesday evening and downstairs was packed, I didn't think we would get a table as didn't realise it had an upstairs but we were lucky, there were quite a few spare tables although by about 7.15 they were all taken. The menu was big, we ordered the seabass and a lamb massaman curry, sticky rice and a kind of thin roti/flat bread (I don't remember the name of this), we were set on the seabass but couldn't decide between 3 other dishes, our waiter recommended the lamb curry as said it went best with the roti. My friend and I both lived in Asia and have been to Thailand many times, this may be the best Thai food I have had in this country. And for central London very reasonable price wise. Main courses are all £9-10 (apart from the sea bass which was more expensive) and we got a bottle of chenin blanc for £22 (I know this may sound expensive to people outside of central London but to put it into perspective I paid this for 2 glasses later on in the evening). Staff were lovely and although our waiter didn't speak too much English it just added to the whole experience, he knew enough to make good recommendations so that's all that matters. I don't go to many places on a regular basis in London as there is so much choice but this is going to be added to my list.

Lovely Thai restaurant in an alleyway very near to Liverpool Street station. We stumbled upon it as there was a queue outside but thought we would ask if there was a free table as there was only two of us there at the time. Very good value for money and excellent Thai food so no wonder it was packed.

We ordered some starters, Pad thai Noodles and Nasi Goreng. Food was delicious, well garnished, that leaves flavours of authentic thai cuisine. However, we had to wait unusually longer to get the table first and then for the food to be served. Perhaps owing to a bank holiday. A bit unsual observation but i found the dining table size to be extremely small to accomodate plates for a couple. If u are in for a scrumptious thai food, this pace can be on your list.

This is one of my local Thai places to go but unfortunately try to avoid during the weekend as their service wasn’t great ,however their food is delicious I highly suggest you should try it out.

Exceptional food and great service. Authentic Thai, with Thai staff, serving great food. The fried salmon from here is the best I've had and certainly recommend. Dishes were very reasonably priced (I had a starter, main, side dish (rice) and a drink all for £25 - most places that would only get you a main. I went there for lunch during the weekday. Food was nice for a very fair price, I had some wok fried noodles for under £10. If you want a simple, quick tasty stir fry, I would definitely recommend.

Food is good. However, when they served us food from a different table and I pointed it out, the man in charge said to me ‘If you do a mistake, no food.’ in a hostile manner. It is clearly not necessary.
