A spacious café including a terrace between the outer and inner doors which is still reasonably warm in cool weather. Excellent, friendly service.

wrong order was sent, given dairy even though I am allergic, Costa need more regulation and consistency regarding this aspect.

In one word 'Greedflation' at the highest level... Unbelievably expensive £2.70 for a cup of tea, £1.20 for just one slice of toast, £4.50 for example for a very small thin slice of cake (carrot) they're also misinforming customers by mass advertising (posters on the walls) lovely huge slices of cakes & large nicely filled rolls which in reality are very much smaller & very much less filled. How the Costa chain gets away with this mass profiteering...... ? Both branches owned by Costa & the franchised branches in the UK & I suppose abroad are taking a huge advantage of the general public with no regulation concerning prices & portions.

Large coffee shop with classic, mid century style seating. The front entrance has a conservatory style section that can open up, so you go through that first to get inside. A staff member was cleaning the place when I arrived and all the tables were dirty, so I get the impression that at that time of day, certainly, they leave it to do all at once before closing because there were very few customers. No filter coffee on offer, so no cheaper options. The staff were friendly though and the toilet wasn't locked.

The Roman Road branch in E3 is one of the best. I’ve been both in person and ordered online. I use this branch a lot, because they do the carrot cake and a lot of the other branches don’t do it. To put into context, I have 5 options of Costa branches. When you go in, it’s quite large, but has that small village cafe feel. The staff are friendly and helpful. But also to add, they’ve gone the extra mile, because I’ve ordered online a a fair few times, and tried to find a way to get my points added to my card, which is difficult to do, (no fault of Costa), and any time I’ve left a message, they’ve responded personally. This time, Sunday 12th May 2024, I received a personally hand written note. I just wish I knew their name, so I could thank them personally, the best I can do is leave a review and say a massive thank you, it made me tear up in a good way. I don’t expect this every time, but it shows they truly care. And I believe that makes everything taste better!

Love this costa I am a regular in here & am always greeted with a smile & lovely professional service by Daria, Erika, Abrar & Yusuf what a pleasure it is to see these staff when I visit here, I can't say that I feel that way about all the staff because I do not, there are times when there is a tense atmosphere in here when a particular very loud member of staff is on duty which makes me feel quite uncomfortable! Its awful, Hattice & the new manager are also really nice so very helpful & friendly. This is by far the best Costa I have ever been in

Probably the best Costa in London. I am not in to all the corporate coffee chains but this particular Costa is an exception. Whenever i attend this place i feel as if im entering a place where i know i will be more then well looked after. What really makes this place special is the NEW MANAGER, she is awesome. She comes across Stone faced and managerial but in fact she is very warm and caring and will go the extra mile to please her customers. Always mentions when something is on special offer and will make sure that the service given is second to none. Plus and this is a huge plus, she is so quick at her job that by the time i search for where in the place i will sit down my order is already ready, im sure she is related to Usain Bolt lol. Also the fact that she is drop dead gorgeous helps lol. But not to get distracted she makes sure the place is kept clean and tidy all the time and never disappoints in the service. Seriously i truly recommend this place especially now with what i consider the best manager ever. Cortado and toasted teacake, lovely!

The new store manager Kaya is amazing with brilliant customer service . For years I did not download the Costa app on my phone but she helped me with the download and the use , you don’t see this sort of services any where

Normally have had a good experience in this Costa branch until I came across a staff member named Yousef who was extremely rude after I complained about his bad coffee he was so rude and ruined my time at this branch I

My low rating is for the extra charge. I was shocked that Costa is still charging extra for oat milk! That is absurd since oat milk can be bought for the same price of dairy nowadays, and a lot of people drink oat milk. Sadly I won't be coming back!

Missing a whole capuccino. Only received two out of three drinks ordered and missing marshmallows on the hot chocolate, wrong syrup on the revived coffee

I've been coming to this coata for a couple of years. It's a real let down. Not friendly, very slow service.. The new manager not very friendly.. And very dirty.

This shop used to be so nice to come and have a coffee and a chat. Unfortunately the manager left and there’s a new manager and staff. You wouldn’t be how much the atmosphere has gone downhill. Queues back to the door. One staff was told she wasn’t allowed to talk to customers anymore. Won’t be going back!!!!!

I am unable to leave my hospital bed due to a broken hip, hence the comprehensive address and delivery instructions. Items are always delivered late because your drivers lack the use of enough simple English to understand and follow them. How and when will you resolve this problem?

A spacious and cosy place at Roman Road with the usual goodies available at Costa. The only thing is the timing - they close too early!

My coffee was amazing as usual, but the woman who served me was unpleasant. I had to change my order from takeaway to sit in, and she was not happy that she needed to void ONE drink and start again. She may have been having a bad day, but there is no need for the attitude.

Never received my order but appears as delivered!

I ordered my drinks for delivery and they sent me the wrong order! I tried to call the restaurant a few times but no one picks up the phone. Now I have been left with someone else’s drinks which is not anything I would drink as I am lactose intolerant, and having to go through hassle with Just Eat to ensure they give me my full refund back which included delivery and service fee. It’s a hassle I didn’t need, all I wanted was my drinks so I can relax without kids around in the morning. Restaurant need to ensure they are giving the right order to the driver that is their responsibility!

If I could give 0 stars I would! Anna the manager of this store had absolutely disgusted me with her appalling behaviour towards her staff as I was observing waiting for my order.

Had a great time the coffee was nice maybe a bit pricey but good décor and very clean and staff did there best regarding customer service.worth a visit anytime.

The customer service was great and the lady that servedme, was extremely polite and helpful. My rating is for the food. The hot chocolate was terrible, no matter what, horrid. Both I and my 5 year old drank a few sips and had to leave it. The cupcake Victoria sponge was average and the croissant was the only thing worth eating.

Their vegan snadwich is actually really nice and my frappe was delicious thank you

I love Costa coffee. The orange chocolate sliced cake is very yummy. Unfortunately, this afternoon Maple Hazel Latte was not available which I prefer most.

I use both Costa and Starbucks equally. I called into Costa Roman road this morning and asked for a grande coffee and was immediately met with Small Medium or Large, this is not starbucks darling. Her rudeness was not needed today. Also, the couple of times I've used that particular branch my coffee has been awful. Needless to say I left and now headed to starbucks.

Are you joking, Costa has raised their drinks again by nearly £.50!! I order everyday but no way will I support this outrageous price increase. This is too much I am still annoyed with their last increase and now they have done it again. At least get rid of your delivery fee if your going to keep increasing your prices. On principle alone I am this close to never ordering from this company again!!

Nice young ladys very helpful. However no flavours cinnamon nutmeg bit of chocolate dust and bottle ends flavours and the milk was stale = gone off I go Costa every day and a white lady demand my coffee .

PLEASE FILL UP THE DRINKS. WE PAY A LOT OF MONEY FOR THEM ESPECIALLY AS ITS MORE EXPENSIVE WHEN WE ORDER IT FOR DELIVERY. THE LEAST YOU CAN DO IS ENSURE THE DRINKS ARE FULL RATHER THEN ALMOST HALF EMPTY AND COVERED IN FROTH!

Twice I've had trouble with this branch so won't be using it again. Today my Breakfast didn't even turn up just the Frostino even though it was all on the receipt. Not happy!

Porridge was quite nice bit bland. Cheese toastie was cold and not very nice due to coke being put on it. Coke was warm! Not a great order!

Walked in today for an extra hot cortado and got a very tepid cortado. I asked to get it hoter but was told that she can not make it hotter. Pure laziness.

Porridge and drinks were lovely and warm, the delivery guy was great, especially since it was so early in the morning!

The coffee is just like any other Costa but the staff are so lovely, kind and polite. Highly recommend their service and company.

Brought me the wrong order and my coffee was cold

Ordered 2 large latte's both of them came half full with no sugar or anything. What a waste if money.

I ordered a large sugar free caramel latte with coconut milk via Just Eat and a few other things. I ended up with my drink having no syrup or coconut milk milk which I paid extra for but just a plain latte. Again the lid was not put on properly and it had leaked inside the bag. I called them because I was so annoyed I mean are they not reading the instructions when the orders come in? I won’t be ordering from this store again as this is the fourth time I have had an issue with their service.

Incorrect sandwich and forgot the chocolate slice

Both my drinks were leaking by the time the driver handed it to me. When I opened it the cups were both soggy and the second toppled over with the lid coming off easily. I believe the restaurant did a poor job of packing the drinks and the driver said he had to walk a long way and that did not help. My husband is very annoyed because he didn’t get his drink and I can’t even order another one as the restaurant is now closed. What awful service!

Absolutely disgraceful behaviour from the branch manager, Anna. She is a racist. I asked a few questions regarding my allergies and she began to yell and shout in front of other customers who were equally shocked. Costa, why is this lady a manager of your store? I will definitely be taking this higher.

There are 2 ladies i have come across who are lovely and very efficient barista's. One who works in the week I think called Anna and a dark and curly haired lady who is new and works at the weekend. Both are such positive and happy people who I actually look forward to being service by. They deserve recognition as they work incredibly hard especially at times on their owns with long queues. Thank you for your hard work.

Large interior, but so many spaces are now blocked for social distancing. Not the best for trying to find a space for working.

came in at 8.27am , no one waiting just me. 4 other people in the whole place so not busy. Young lady was behind the counter who then only acknowledged and served me at 8.38am. A delivery driver even cane in and got his order. Now I dont mind waiting but at least say 'hello' and 'sorry im just busy' or 'will be with you in a bit'. when your paying Costa prices you expect a bit of customer service at least. and to add my porridge wasnt even cooked properly. still had raw oats see pic

It's a Costa coffee. Come on. But the seating arrangement is nice and the service is friendly.

Staff were really friendly and the Costa is nice and spacious with indoor seats, as well as conservatory type seats available. Was pleasantly suprised when I saw they had set up a small play area for young children. I was comfortable enough to breastfeed in a corner with no issues. A bonus that it's a short walk from Victoria park. Only slight downside was that the toilet wasn't very clean. Will definitely be visiting again.

Not usually a fan of costas but this one is great! Selection of baby toys with a little area for them to play, incredibly friendly staff and plenty of choices of sofas / tables.

Always served with a smile and always listen to your order. Nice warm atmosphere with seating area where you can sit with your dog which is enclosed and has heating if need be

It's funny how often Costa becomes my only option for coffee and I'm always disappointed. The toilet is wet and filled with toilet paper everywhere. The coffee itself has no flavour whatsoever. The staff is nice but that's about it.

Love a Costa. Brilliant staff and food. Only negative ACCESSIBLE TOILET is to full of bins to move inside and toilet is Childrens height.
