I recently visited The Titanic pub for some work drinks, and was pleasantly surprised by how good the customer service and atmosphere were! The new owners are very welcoming, friendly and chatty. Although it was very busy (it was its opening night), the bar staff worked very hard to serve everyone as quickly as they could, the drinks were very well made and well priced. The pub itself is well decorated, clean and tidy. Despite there only being one toilet cubicle in the ladies', it is well kept and well stocked with loo roll, soap and hand towels. Well worth a visit!

Loved this pub! Martin the barman is fantastic, friendly and professional. He taught us how to play the game table in there ( forget the name ) but it’s an old fashion game that I havnt seen before. Decorated as the titanic first class lounge was, lovely fireplace, piano that was old . Great pint . Great atmosphere, explained the history as we were so intrigued and he was knowledgeable! Perfect end to our day :)

Fab little pub. Martin, the landlord we presume, was awesome. Gave us a brilliant lesson in bar billards. Never seen this old game before. Such an interesting place. Was called The Queen after Queen Victoria, crewmen of Titanic's bar, renamed Titianic after the great ship. Lots of memorabilia. Popped back later in the afternoon for more bar billards.

If you don't mind having your temperature taken post pandemic then give this place a whirl. The beers are fabulous. I assume the landlord declined vaccinations which of course is his prerogative but it's not a nice way to start a relaxing evening for most I would assume. Still, the beer is fabulous .....

The Landlord/Manager/Owner still insists on taking people’s temperature when you walk in. His prerogative off course, not for us, so walked straight out and went a couple of hundred yards down the road for a beer there.

We visited the Titanic public house in Southampton twice during our short stay to get a drink before our evening meal in the main town. The pub is located on a corner plot in the ‘Old Town’ area and was a short walk from our hotel. On arrival, hand sanitiser was available as was a QR sign in for the NHS Covid 19 app. We were asked to ‘sign in’ to a register with name and time of arrival (later we also ‘signed out), we then had our temperature checked and were shown to a table by the friendly and helpful barman (wearing a face mask), who took our drinks orders and then delivered them to us. Payment was via ‘contactless’ card. In terms of Covid 19 precautions, we thought that this was the best organised bar or restaurant that we had visited. The interior of the pub is a shrine to all things RMS Titanic. There are pictures, plans of the ship, newspaper front pages covering the disaster and in the corner where we were sitting. A flat screen television showing documentaries featuring the ship. The pub is a ‘free house’ but keeping with the theme served some beers from the ‘Titanic’ brewery A lovely ‘town’ pub, the interior is far from the more contemporary interiors of the big chains but for first time visitors, we thought that we were made very welcome by the host and there was a nice ‘vibe’ about the place. If you are in the town and have an interest in the story of the RMS Titanic then a visit to this place will certainly not disappoint and we would certainly consider a return visit.

Amazing little pub, we came in while on a two day trip. Firstly came in and had a temp check which was good fun as anything under a certain number wins a prize. Secondly the bar man is the nicest man in Southampton, my son loves the titanic and the gentleman put on the tv and offered my son a choice of titanic movies to watch. My daughter is obsessed with captain smith so she called the barman captain smith and he was great fun with her. The drinks were good and at a reasonable price, overall we was all made to feel welcome and everyone in the pub was so friendly including the customers. I suggest everyone goes for a drink here, so many titanic pictures and facts around as well. Can’t wait to go back again just to go here.

Friendly staff and good warning given about step in the middle of the bar area. Beer was good, and someone has made an effort with the place, however a deeper clean at the edges of the carpet and in the toilets would be of benefit and earn a higher rating.

We dropped in here for a drink. The beer was fine but the decor and furnishings are rather tired and it needs some money spending on it to bring it back up to standard. The toilets were in a right mess when I used them, with used paper towels strewn everywhere. I appreciate this sort of thing is hard to monitor constantly, but it does reflect on the clientele too. Don’t go here if you have sophisticated taste and/or high standards. It’s fine to drop in for a drink with some mates.

Popped in here during a recent visit to Southampton to see the Stones. Nice to see someone remembers that the Titanic actually sailed from this great port, there is little else around the city that commemorates it. Whilst this bar is packed with memorabilia there weren't a lot of decent beers, the bulk of the proper ale pumps were covered over. Shame because it could be so much better.

Shamelessly cashing in on the Titanic tragedy, this pub renamed itself the Titanic in recent years seemingly to attract visitors from the cruise ships which dock in Southampton for the day. It styles itself as a Titanic-themed pub and does have a couple of Titanic pictures on display but what was missing when we visited was a) customers - it was empty b) atmosphere - it was empty c) food. We had passed the pub in the morning before it opened, with three friends who were visiting on a cruise ship. They expressed an interest in going in so we noted the opening times and also noted the sign by the door that said food is available from 12pm until 3pm every day. We returned at 2pm for lunch (having ignored the wealth of cafes and restaurants on our walk) only to be told "Oh no, there's no food today." But the barman did recommend the Red Lion, just a couple of minutes away. Unfortunately, that pub stops serving food at 2pm!

If you judged this place by the decor, you'd probably not give it much shrift. We went in for a quick pint before dinner and it is a faded, jaded sort of decor at first glance, but the selection of ales on the pumps looked decent so we stayed. Friendly locals, cheerful barman, excellent beer, some unusually comfortable bar stools, and prices were normal as far as I can recall. We were somewhat late for dinner, which tells it's own tale. A splendid place to drink beer. Which, according to my dictionary, is what a pub should be. So we did.

Called in for a quick drink on the way to our restaurant. Strange is not the word....I thought at first they were in the middle of decorating so was going to walk out again but there was a very smart young man behind the bar who seemed friendly. Ordered drinks - no frills, (no lemon, straws etc!) think they managed ice though! Found a place to sit - chairs were ripped, xmas decs still in window (or maybe early decorations!) no carpet, bare, uneven floorboards, a lovely fireplace that was unused, various articles hanging around that served no purpose, tables upside down, a computer and files/paperwork on bar along with cleaning materials! Plus chandeliers! I just wasn't sure if they were trying to re-create the Titanic feeling or if they were in the process of revamping it. It was cold and smelt fusty also. There were 3 others sat at the bar along with, what looked like a homeless man. When we left I think the owner was outside having a cigarette and the 'homeless' man shouted "***k off and don't come again"!!! Hilarious - perhaps you could go in for a laugh sometime! This could be a nice pub with all the Titanic memorabilia but its gone wrong somewhere! The young chap behind the bar tried his best and was perhaps the best part of the pub! He looked very smart and looked liked he didn't really belong here!

The locals were great to and very friendly,Martin set up the karaoke for the evening and everyone joined in and had fun .

Хороший паб, в интерьере доминирует корабельная тема, и много настенной информации о Титанике. Заходили сюда на ланч, очень приличные супы.

It's not easy to find decent fish n chips in the UK! However, this pub had a lovely well drained breaded cod that was served with peas (sweet) and chips that were not soggy. Well worth a try downed with a cold ale. Follow the QE2 Mile pedestrian route which runs through the heart of the city from the Cenotaph down to the waterfront at Town Quay. Great experience.

Southampton and RMS Titanic are for ever tied together. This pub has some interesting memorabilia and this makes a visit worthwhile , the beer was good and the atmosphere friendly. Go look for yourself.

We are leaving Southampton for pastures new. Feeling guilty that we have not written a review about this pub before over the past 4 years. I hope we find a pub in our new city where visitors, new residents and locals are made to feel as welcome. This is a fantastic pub and we would thoroughly recommend giving it a visit.

So I thought it might have some reproduction pub wall art of the tragic event. It did, and it was very good reproduction wall art. Nice history on the walls, But..... I stuck to the floor. I was overcome with the fragrance of Jeys Fluid, and the back of the bar stools and their wooden legs, the liquid stains has not been touched for months. In a word. FILTHY. I wiped my feet on the pavement outside when I left.

Situated in a side street off the main lower Bar-gate high street. All hands on deck and to your muster points, I think it won't be long before this ship sinks. Even before we went in we were asked outside if we were policemen and could we 'escort' the 'lady' inside, should have been a clue?Inside was nothing short of sad, tired and strange. The memorabilia was 'tacky' the video on the TV showing a rotation of the ship sinking and no Titanic bitter for sale.Sadly this could and should be so much a better tourist attraction

A short visit to this pub. It does have some memorabilia but nothing that is really special and lots of facsimile's of papers dotted throughout. Barman was dressed in waistcoat which looked very smart and was very friendly. Would visit again as it was quiet and you could have a decent conversation without shouting.

Popped in for a pint after stumbling across it found,a bit of a hidden gem.Chatted to a few customers there who were on one of those massive ships that was in port.Friendly, chatty barman who was very polite and rustled me up a quick burger for about four quid when I was feeling a bit hungry.A shame it was pretty quiet,as I can see a lot of potential but most people are up the other end of town. This is a much nicer old school pub, glad I found it.

We were looking for somewhere to have dinner, wandering around. After being in Italy for a while we were looking forward something like pub food. The pub was fairly empty so we thought 'oh oh' but it was great, the food was good but the service was outstanding. The barmaid and the cook who I think is also the owner were really lovely, they chatted and made us feel really welcome

We have been to The Titanic a few times now, and are always welcomed with fantastic service and a friendly atmosphere. We have visited as a family during the day and as a couple in the evening. If you are a Titanic enthusiast it's a must, with a few books and themed items for sale too.

We came across this Pub by happy accident. We travelled to Southampton the Thursday night ready for our cruise the following day. That evening we wondered about looking for somewhere to have a drink. From the outside it looked lively with plenty of customers so we went in. So glad we did it was a great start to our holiday. It had a lovely party feel to it, everyone having a great time, no one out of place. Good prices too. The staff were lovely and genuinely looked happy in their work. We will definitely visit again next time we are cruising.

We had just visited the Sea City Museum where we viewed the Titanic exhibition, so it seemed coincidental when we stumbled upon The Titanic pub on our way back to our hotel. We decided to make it our stop for lunch. The pub is dated but filled with lots of memorabilia on the Titanic and news articles on the tragic sinking. Being noon, it was surprisingly empty for the time. There were a few elderly chaps sitting at the bar chatting with the proprietor. We could make our choice from a limited snacks menu so we ordered Fish & Chips and Chilli with Chips. The chef was another kindly elderly man who seemed to turn on the fryer only when there might be a food request. Surprisingly though, within 25 minutes, our food was in front of us. The food was okay, nothing special and the chips tasted like they were fried in re-used oil. The one thing that turned us off here were the dirty drinking glasses. We were the only two persons having lunch. One couple popped into the pub for a quick drink and a guy passed in just to take photos of the memorabilia-filled walls during our time there, but otherwise it was lacking much festivity due to the emptiness of the pub. When we had our meal and left, no one else had come in to drink or order lunch. From our experience here, we felt as though The Titanic pub has had its time. It may just be in need of some fresh young energy to make this gem thrive again.

Great food, staff were friendly and polite and food served in good time.Would have given five stars, but unlike the other lounges i`ve visited, they don`t give pour and give you your drink straight away, instead saying they will bring it to you, which in my case was when the staff member had finished serving everyone else.

Trago Lounge is a true culinary haven where every dish is a masterpiece. I've dined here close to ten times, and each visit has been a delightful experience. The breakfasts, rice dishes, and salads are ideal for solo dining, bursting with flavors that tantalize the taste buds. By the way, the Buddha Bowl is a must-try for vegetarians – it's not just good, it's exceptional! The service is impeccable, and the ambiance is cozy and inviting. Whether I'm with friends or enjoying a quiet meal alone, Trago Lounge is my go-to. Highly recommend for an unforgettable dining experience!

Food and drink (breakfast offer) were OK but staff were a total waste of time. Took them an age to serve and the rewards system was not working so when I asked for a receipt I was greeted the they were not available.
