Great bar. Fab atmosphere. Quiz night was fun, great rivalry. Staff super friendly and service was great. Drinks were lovely, great choices.

We visit Abingdon regularly but rarely get the chance to spend much time in the town so stumbling across this place was a lovely surprise. The atmosphere was fabulous, the staff all really friendly and the cocktails were divine. Will definitely try and make it a more regular visit.

Been here before, loved it, whilst waiting for my drink, i noticed short measures being given in cocktails. My drink was messed up, no ice in the Gin either, had to ask for a slice in it. Wasnt hard only ordered 2 drinks.TBH gone down hill big time.

It’s always a pleasure to go to the Mercer. Eleanor and her team create a nice friendly relaxed atmosphere. Lovely cocktails and mocktails and a good selection of wines and local beers.

For a cocktail bar they don't offer many cocktails, with only one or two that contain rum. The seasonal menu is for last season as they are mainly christmassy. I checked to see if they were still serving the seasonal menu and they said yes but when it came to order they couldn't make the only one I wanted. Overall J was pretty disappointed

Good cocktails, friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere! As the only cocktail bar in Abingdon it is usually busy at the weekends. Worth a visit.

I popped in for a (planned) quick pint whil waiting for a take away meal and liked the place - it has a young friendly feel and was very welcoming. I live locally and had looked in on two other nearby pubs and really wasn't attracted to them, I prefer the slighly younger and continental feel about the Mercer. Will I go back - yes.

Great bar. Always relaxed vibe. Bonus if you get there during Happy Hours 2 for £10. Lovely spot to drop in, have a couple of drinks, chat and watch the world go by.

We have been into The Tipsy Mercer many times, it has remained consistently good since it opened! They have just reopened following the easing of the lockdown restrictions and are still offering amazing cocktails with good friendly service! They are dog friendly too!

A lovely atmosphere for any kind of customer. Really lovely staff, good value drinks and cocktails and something a little different for the Abingdon area. A must-try!

Such a lovely friendly pub - staff are so thoughtful. Really nice and helpful nothing too much trouble.

Stopped by this unique looking cocktail bar - very quiet but great staff. Large range of cocktails at a reasonable price. Would return - recommended.

Visited last weekend with friends . Very friendly non chain establishment serving a great range of drinks served by knowledgable staff . Small piano bar upstairs that allows tables to be booked sounds great for our next visit !

Lovely staff and great drinks. Not only cocktails but wines and beers, apparently the yaba daba doo beer was lovely. Didn't go upstairs stayed downstairs drinking and watching the world go by. Will definitely go back again.

Myself and my wife on Saturday late lunchtime, we were the only ones there apart from the barman. Limited range of cocktails but what we had were good. Needs to step it up a gear. No food or any description.
