Bought a cous cous salad and found a hair in it once I brought it home. Will not be visiting again

The most welcoming team ! We had a birthday tea for our little boy and the team could not do enough for us. They provided the most extraordinary chocolate cake (kids want it again and again!) and welcome for this special occasion. Ordinarily the food is extraordinary but the spirit and welcome is too. Always a great place to refuel and get a smile or two to start the day ! Thank you to the whole team.

Very nice warm place for coffee and breakfast. The team of ladies work extremely hard to ensure you receive your order in a timely manner. With two areas set aside for customers, one as a dog friendly area. The fresh food is as far as possible sourced from local suppliers so ticksthe green credentials. all round nice experience.

Pleasant, although a little pricey

Been in here quite regularly now we have moved to the village. Great Breakfasts and Lunches. Doughnuts and Cakes plus my favourite scotch eggs. Pleasant Staff too!

Hosts were very friendly and welcoming, they have a great selection of breakfast sandwiches, sweets, and local products.

Lovely cafe. Lovely atmosphere: warm and welcoming. Came here for brunch with friends and we had excellent egg and cress sandwiches, sausage rolls and berry doughnuts (served on plates) and gorgeous hot chocolate

We visited this place today for coffee to work and planned to have lunch and afternoon cake! After a few hours at the cafe, we were told we could not work any longer because of the cost of living crisis (we were charging laptops) and the ‘busy’ lunch time service. They asked us to move outside and work in the cold from 12-2pm. Despite unplugging the laptops and the fact we were only taking up 1 table (for 4 people when there was 3 of us) we were still not allowed to stay in the cafe. We have worked at the cafe in the past so this was a surprise. We were not communicated this rule when we arrived nor was there any signage letting customers know. Very disappointed with the poor customer service, and have found a great pub to work and eat 5 mins away with welcoming staff. We will not be returning.

Glad to see China cups are back - the coffee tastes so much better than out of a cardboard beaker! Such a pretty colour too.

It was okay, although pricey for what you get. The food was a average. Shame really as I had been looking forward to trying this place, but felt let down.

Staff are friendly and coffee is nice but the bacon and sausage sandwich I treated myself to was not in the slightest. Bacon and sausages were hard and not freshly cooked. They had obviously reheated them but when the bacon and sausages are hard it might be best to cook them freshly not reheated. Disappointed and won't be returning again.

The cake was great and the employees are the most polite and helping I've ever experienced. Great place, I will buy from them again for sure.

Food and coffee were good... except served in paper cups and a cardboard box even though we were eating in 🤔. So our baguette was served in an open cardboard takeaway container with side salad just plonked in one end and left to be picked out by hand 😔 Not really what you would normally expect in a non-cheap cafe. I know some will make comments regarding the eco-friendliness of serving in paper... but I often wonder why crockery used and washed 1000's of times is worse than the environmental cost of manufacturing, transporting and recycling of paper/cardboard alternatives?

I was staying in Shrivenham for a week with my daughter, and called into this cafe each day whilst taking my grandson a walk. Staff where so friendly and the choice of pastries cakes and savoury food was second to none. All of which was top quality and I thoroughly enjoyed, a delightful cafe/deli to visit for fresh homemade food.

Sat outside in their courtyard. Plants are in bloom. Shady umbrellas to avoid direct sun if desired. Menu is delicious. Prompt friendly service. Drinks and Food arrived quickly. They also sell a selection of fresh seasonal fruit and veg, and delicatessen products, including some local produce, eg. honey, rapeseed oil.

Never fails to please. Fabulous friendly staff and an infinite variety of goodies.

Great shop with great range of products! This is the shop where I get my share of natural/ bio products and my Pippin doughnuts! Great place and it's definitely worth popping in if you get near it!

I surprised my husband with a hamper the Saturday before Christmas. A merry Christmas. I said to Trish l shall leave it up to you and she did us proud. I chose a large hamper so we could enjoy the food over the weekend and added a bottle of bubbles. I am also dairy free no problem. It was a delicious hamper ranging from samwiches, sausage rolls, salad, tomatoes on the vine, olives, cheese board, cakes, strawberrys, crisps, dips. I shall def do it again. Thank you so much. I gather they can deliver but we collected it as it was so busy. Happy new year.

A wide variety of local produce including gorgeous sandwiches, cakes, cheese, pies and pastries also serving tea and coffees. Really recommend the daily specials, we've just eaten the "hot special" baguette with turkey, cranberry, stuffing and gravy and it was a tasty as it sounds! Very happy to call this my local 😊

Over priced coffee and not agood taste

Wow! Just received a fabulous hamper from Bloomfields Fine Food Delicatessen... beautifully presented with a wonderful array of quality local produce inside. A real treat, can't wait to tuck into all of the tasty goodies inside. Most highly recommended, five stars!

Excellent choice of food, Would highly Recommend and Visit again

Love coming to Bloomfields. Great range of organic locally grown vegetables, brilliant range of jams, sauces etc. They are always really friendly and even helped me out with some baking paper from the cafe when I had run out mid cookie baking!

Hi I used to love your quiches, I had the Blue cheese, leek and bacon yesterday and was very disappointed with it . I can't understand why you would change them,. Big let down!!

Very pleased to have this close enough to be able to use it as a convenience shop during lockdown, with the option for a few treats. In the early weeks, it was one of the few places with flour or yeast and the other options meant we didn’t have to go to a large supermarket at all. The recent reintroduction of doughnuts has just made everything ‘normal’ again.

We ordered picnics for today and they were marvellous. Beautifully packaged and laid out and so much food from sandwiches to quiche, scotch eggs, fruit, olives, houmous and cheese and biscuits to finish. What a treat - and most of the packaging can go in your compost heap too.

Have been going here on and off for a few months since moving to the area for coffee/cake. The quality of food is generally quite good. Unfortunately, the more I go the more frequently I have a slightly off experience of the customer service. Placing an order on the phone, driving to collect and then being told that they were out of the necessary ingredients without apology or courtesy was the last of several strawa. Even though I like the food, I am no longer inclined to give them my business.

Very disappointed having bought flour from our local provider to see they have hiked up the price (almost doubled it) £3 for a 1.2kg decanted bag. You’ve now lost all our future business.

Delicious, fresh, good value. The staff serving were very pleasant and polite. Lovely for a lunch or coffee with friends.

Amazing soup nice staff but bit pricey

I’m not sure that a good treat can be regular but Bloomfields is certainly our go to for something nice for lunch or a snack, with the quiches being our favourite for lunches and the doughnuts on Fridays and Saturdays are definitely a guilty pleasure (although disappointed when there aren’t coconut ones available).

What else is there to say? This is a perfect café – décor is great (I really like the glazed wall that opens onto a covered seating area) – the choice of freshly made food is excellent (I just wish we had been there at lunch time) – the service is professional yet friendly.

We picked up some lunch here: vegetarian quiche, salad and some doughnuts that caught my I. The food is really excellent and the staff are very helpful, wrapping it up well as they knew it was going in the car and popping the quiche in a foil tray so that I could reheat it later on.Value for money isn't bad, the salad could possibly be a little more 'stacked' for the money but that's only minor.

Lovely food but a bit pricey. The tables are very close together so a bit uncomfortable especially if you're sat where the lovely artisan biscuits and chocolates are.

Very friendly staff serving and food is generous and tasty. Sometime when busy it takes a bit of time but you know it's going to be fresh.

I would highly recommend anybody travelling to the UK to visit Bloomfields Delicatessen. This has by far the best coffee & food we have had & wonderful friendly staff 😊

We had a really nice lunch here. It was half term but wasn’t busy. The falafel salad and the frittata were both excellent. The milkshakes we had were made with real ice cream but were a bit overpriced for the size of the glass.

The afternoon tea was amazing.the staff were really attentive. Lots of lovely plants and different areas to see and sit.

Great selection of all types of food to suit everyone. We sat down and had lunch and we both said the same thing, great service and the quality of food was excellent. We have not been for while and once we ate it was good to be back.

This is a lovely, clean, friendly cafe, where the staff take pride on their handmade food. I had the Mexican chicken wrap and it was delicious. I would highly recommend this cafe.

Brill coffee. Not the cheapest but best place for miles.

We stopped in here for brunch. Shrivenham High Street has most things so it's a good opportunity to get some things done and have some great food at the same time.

A few of us stopped off during a group ride. There are a wide range of cakes and pies to eat and we ordered a selection of sweet and savoury items which were all good. Bikes could be safely stored in the garden.

Excellent menu and the quality of food is amazing would highly recommend to anyone. From the breakfast sandwiches and baguettes to the salad bowls and cakes, plus much more.

Great little place for a snack and a coffee. They have a wonderful selection snacks from freshly made rolls, sausage rolls and pies as well as local produce. My only complaint is I wish they were open Sundays as it's my only time I really get to go and enjoy what local shops have to offer.

Enjoy coming here for a light snack. Not cheap. Did have tomato soup with toast and it should have been tomato bread. Which l did say when l ordered it . But will try again.

Mark is the best chef, makes the perfect breakfast scrambled eggs/toasties which are certainty better then any hotel breakfast ! Mark and all the staff are very friendly which makes me enjoy this cafe even more.

Nice, glass-fronted cafe & delicatessen in the very centre of the village of Shrivenham. Only small tables inside but not too cramped, with good coffee & tea and excellent onsite food, which made for a nice midweek lunch, all at reasonable prices. Seemed to have some outdoor seating too, at the back, for better weather. Toilets onsite. Fair amount of parking directly out front, along either side of the high street.

Myself and friends had lunch here in the cafe part. The coffee and food was excellent and the staff were really friendly. Bit of a squeeze for five of us but really enjoyed our visit.

Visiting for a late lunch we had a delicious toast panini and wrap. We ordered without a table as it was so busy, just a shame that the table the staff said would be able to be moved inside was not available after all.

Great place. Food is delicious and staff are always lovely and helpful. Eat in or takeaway. Plenty on the menus but they'll try and do anything you ask for. Good deli selection such as cheeses, olives. Nice little courtyard at the back as well for sunny days (if you're lucky!) UPDATE: Went in yesterday 22 Jan 2019 and the Coffee was even better than I remember- Lovely service from the friendly staff - still the best deli/coffee shop around!

A great little cafe, beautiful food and friendly people but never before have I been charged 30p extra per cup to have a dash of milk in an Americano! Such a shame, looks a little bit grasping! Just my opinion I know and it's still a great cafe.

Dropped in for coffee and a snack for lunch. Excellent coffee and great sausage roll. The staff are very friendly and since then I’ve dropped in for coffee a few times.

Small, well stocked deli + cafe. Lovely food but not too comfy seat/table wise. A shame as would make a great little journey break destination or lunch stop...worth a try though!

The Bloomfields Deli in Highworth have the most welcoming of staff and fabulous food!

Spending a few weeks in area and came cross Bloomfield's on first day in village. I had a tasty bowl of soup with crusty bread that was perfect for a cold day followed by excellent coffee. Staff friendly and efficient. Range of Cotswold bread, cheese, tea, coffee and more unusual foods and ingredients in the deli section impressive for a village. Fresh fruit and vegetables available from stand outside. I like the combination of market and cafe/deli feel. Prices a bit high but service and quality worth it,

Fabulous food just not quite enough space for tables & chairs to eat at. Constantly had people reaching around us for purchases on the shelves.

Amazing food. Sit in or take away. High chairs for young children available.

Big fan of this joint. Great for a coffee and a bit of lunch, and always end up going home with some homemade treat (homemade by them, obviously, I can't cook for shiz). Really fast WiFi too.

This place can on occasions be hard to get a seat - this shows how good they are. Had a snack here once before, and also had breakfast - very good and enjoyable - a little over the top cost wise compared to a "cafe" but this is not what it sets out to be.

What a lovely little spot for lunch. Very friendly staff and great, fresh locally sourced food. The Cornish yarg cheese was delicious, and the smoked salmon quiche was out of this world.

The only reason this is in existence is the lack of competition. I was charged £1.20 more than the standard price of a panino because I asked for halloumi instead of cheddar. A price I agreed to pay. Once I did so and sat down I was approached by the waiter that served me and advised me that mistake was done and I had to pay another £0.80 extra as they had to open a new pack of halloumi. I paid once again and when my panino arrived I realised it had 4 thin pieces of halloumi. Consequently a full halloumi block at their establishment sells for ~£3.00 and I paid £2.00 for four pieces. On another occasion I asked for a toasted sandwich and with cucumber and tomato added after the toasting. To which I was told that was not possible. My reply was to then put the tomatoes and cucumbers in before toasting. The lady serving me then commented that this was a very strange request. They are unhelpful, unprofessional and rude on top of that. I cannot wait for another shop to open near them and explain how industry and customer care actually works.
