Love Tiffin tin and have ordered from here many times before. Tonight was disappointed to find the main dishes seem to come in much smaller portions than before (3 chicken chunks in a curry). The mango chutney appears to have been watered down and is more like syrup in texture. Very disappointing though the quality is still decent overall.

Rice seemed dry and chicken was chewy. We’ve ordered here many times so hoping it was a blip!

Rang the restaurant when I'd been waiting till last delivery time which was 1 hour after placed. Informed food was ready but they are waiting for a driver. I would have made an allowance but when I asked what they thought delivery time might be I was told 30 mins. No apology offered. Foid not here yet so anticipating its either cold or reheated. Let's see.

Food was disappointing. The menu descriptions are misleading and exaggerated. In reality we received poor quality, flavourless, overpriced food. “Grilled king prawns” were lost in a pool of bland sauce and cost £16.35!!!

I had a poor experience with Tiffin Tin. I have ordered from them a few times before and used to love it. I've not ordered from them for a while and my last order was terrible. The Chicken Tikka Masala was inedible. It tasted like it was plastic. The rest was ok. The delivery time was 1h but it came in 20 minutes. We weren't ready to eat it, so it was cold by the time we got to it.

Great tasting food! Sides like raita and garlic naan pricey for the amount you get but overall would definitely recommend!

I usually love ordering from this restaurant, however they have slaughtered their rating tonight. Because their‘driver’ said they couldn’t deliver (no one buzzed my door) they have been rude, unresponsive and obnoxious. Thank you. I will not be ordering from you again.

Extremely expensive to be honest, 30 quid for a pilau rice, 2 paratha, 1 paneer saag and 1 chana saag....it was nice I'll give you that but I don't know if I could make it something I'd use regularly.

Did not have a great experience last night which is a shame as this used to be one of our favourite places or order from. Ordered at 8pm and Told it would be here by 9 pm , 9:05 said set off., 9:20pm it says delivered but no sight so we call the Tiffin Tin and they say it’s with the driver. 9:30 call again, no sight. 9:45, still nothing. Then the delivery time changes to expect it at 10pm. Food arrived at 9:50 and the guy rings the buzzer. We’d written an instruction to the restaurant to call us when they get here as we are in an apartment block and have a baby sleeping. Even though we answered and let him in the lobby, driver rings the internal buzzer 3 more times as my partner heads down to the door. Wakes the baby. So now it’s 10pm and we have cold food we have to microwave while one of us gets the baby back to sleep. Not the relaxing Saturday night we had in mind. We just had a text to say they won’t refund us even partially. Had they, I would of had more sympathy that sometimes things go wrong but sadly they simply ruined our sat night and don’t seem to care. So here you go - our honest review of Sat night with the Tiffin Tin.

Great food but pretty cold by the time it arrived, need to reheat

One of the dishes, for which I was charged £6.30 , is missing. Food ranks as 'OK' but is very expensive for what it is and, for example, squid started very chewy. Curries onlgbjstvOK.Everything lacking in seasoning and flavour and very mediocre. As for the extras I ordered - no idea whether there was even one mint leaf in the additional mint sauce ordered. Additional salad ordered was tiny - probably no more that 0.05 pence worth of salad in it - nothing other than a few chopped up bits. Peshawar naan was .. what can I say other than gloopy. I must be missing something because other reviews rate this really highly, so all I can say is don't order any more than you think you can eat and try it first before you spend loads of money for something not worth the money .. then decide if this is is for you or not.

Was very disappointed in delivery time. Shan't be using this restaurant again 🙄

The food is delicious every time. Light fragrant and so fresh.

Delivery arrived bang on time and food was DELICIOUS!!

Took over 2 hours for delivery. Clearly struggling with too many orders but non existent customer service, refused to answer calls. It may have been down to the fuel shortage, but don’t continue taking orders. A shame because the food is always very good but second time this has happened now is too many.

I pre ordered the food at 6 to arrive at 8. It turned up at 9pm and needed re heating. I asked for a refund and the restaurant said no and blamed the lateness on the rainy weather which is ridiculous. Really unhappy and very poor effort on them not refunding me for their lateness.

We live a little further away form the restaurant so fair enough! Food was very nice ☺️

Disappointed with weekend surprised deal meal. I was super hungry and I was confident that they will surprise somthing decent. Guess what I ended up receving chicken veg curry with a plain papaddom with Mango chatny. What a joke I had to throw and reorder from elsewhere. Never again bye 😡👎👎👎

The order was late this time. My chicken lasune didn't taste like how it has previously, it wasn't bbq and very creamy. My boyfriend liked his veg main. We always order from here so will again but I may try something else.

So late, restaurant kept lying that the order had left and was on way. Food was cold, bland. Paid £30 for a curry each, a rice to share and two breads. Miserable takeaway and won’t be ordering from them again.

My daughters vegetarian I’m not and there’s a great choice for both of us here. The food is delicious I normally cook Indian food at home so eating it out or as a take away is not something we do as it’s too greasy or quite bland. Here it’s spot on. And if you’re not sure what to eat get the special of the week. It’s a surprise but a delicious one.

Had tandoori chicken breast, was absolutely delicious! Will definitely be going back to the Tiffin Tin. Samosas were also really high quality and so tasty. The chicken was next level good though.

Like many I've been ordering a lot of food online during lockdown and so I eventually discovered Tiffin Tin. Your journey ends here. This is simply the finest food available in this area (E10 for me) for delivery. I'm not saying it's 'slightly' better than competitors. I'm saying that in fact it might be the finest cuisine I've ever tasted from Asian origin. I don't think I'll bother from now on with other options on Uber Eats. This is second to none. Keep up the good work.I'll actually visit when lockdown is over. The food is that good.

Presentation, food and delivery is all perfect.

We ordered last night as usual but decided to try their new sweet potato curry for my wife as she is vegetarian. We have never ordered a meat dish from here.To our horror we served it and started eating to find dark tough lumps of meat in our dish !!!!!The overall quality and service from Wanstead branch has gone down hill so much in past months this is now the third major issue encountered recently and as a client since 2013 very disappointing.

We really liked the fact it was in cardboard containers rather than plastic! We are all for the environment! Lovely food! Like Sri Lankan dishes! Would always recommend!!

I ordered food at 7pm with a delivery time of 7.55pm. It arrived after 8.30pm - really poor as there was no update from the restaurant during that time.

Really tasty food and many, good vegan options! Would have been even more satisfied if there was vegan bread option to naan.

Really good quality ingredients, fresh yoghurt for the dip, quality chicken breast and lentils in the dansak. Free popadoms. Not huge portion sizes but that’s good because it was just right, not wasteful. Would order again.

Dependably excellent food, a cut above other Indians!

There is no beating the Tiffin Tin on taste. While our last order was on time (we booked hours in advance), they frequently arrive late. The food could always be a little bit hotter. It's a shame, because it would six stars all the way otherwise.

Lamb bhuna was undercooked. Tandoori mix grill was tasteless. Lamb was dry and not seasoned properly. For the price of £14 the portion size was appalling!

Had high hopes for this place but sadly we were very disappointed. Small portions for a very expensive price, even for London. After waiting for an hour for this to arrive the food was almost completely cold and while the curries seemed fresh they were totally bland. We couldn’t tell the difference between the 2 different ones we had ordered. Also chewy not fresh naan. Would definitely go elsewhere in the future!

Too be honest l can’t complain about the food it is fantastic, aromatic and fresh, my annoyance is at the delivery, not far off 2.00 hrs!!! it’s ridiculous, placed order at 8.37 received our food at 10.25!!! And when l spoke to the lady at 9.43 she said 12-15 mins very disappointed!!!

Avoid, mediocre food and terrible delivery times! Ordered 7.45pm, scheduled for 9pm, delivered close after almost 3 hours at 10:35pm! No communication. Conveniently couldn't get through to complain or ask for a refund via phone as it is always engaged. Quality of food used to be good, but now is not. Soggy Naan/poppadum, Rogan josh curry contained little meat in a watery sauce.

Have ordered from here many times as the food is generally great however, we will sadly not be ordering from them again after a 3 hour wait for my order. I ordered food at 8:15pm. Initial time to be delivered was 9:15. Was then told it would be 10pm. It arrived at 11:15pm. No apology, the restaurant didn’t contact me to let me know, I had to contact them. Not good enough. Won’t be using again.

Food was good, but arrived around 90 minutes after the promised delivery time.

delivery said 35 to 50 mins. Once ordered said 45mins. No progress updates for the entire time and then they updated it as 'delivered'. Tried calling multiple times and eventually spoke to someone ho said it had left and 10mins max. 50mins later it turned up and pretty cold. Portions were pretty small - especially the rice. The popadom was in crumbs. Also using containers that are not recyclable. Same materials as non recyclable coffee cups. Would be better if they used foil!

Food was almost an hour late, it was cold. Had no update from restaurant, i had to call to get update on delivery. Food probably would have tasted nice if it was warm.

Yet again Tiffin Tin ruin a good take away with poor delivery. Good food but when served cold, rubbish. No hint of a refund or explanation. Don’t bother with delivery - go collect yourself.

The Koshi Machhi was overcooked fish in pretty much a standard rogan josh sauce. The Kalipare squid was also overcooked and rubbery. That being said the meat dishes were great as were the rice and naan.

Best meal I have had delivered, let alone best Indian. Well done.

He comido de tiffin tin hace unos años, así que esta noche me decepcionó mucho. La comida no tenía ningún sabor. . El pollo korma era insípido y parecía sacado de una lata. Tarka daal era de mal gusto. Comida blanda cara, sin ensalada, pidió chiles verdes. . no lo recibí, no volveré a ordenar.

Understandable they were busy, but they should of Express this with waiting time to deliver food. I waited nearly 40 minutes for delivery and was late an hour over that.

Food was nearly 2 hours late! And when it arrived it wasn’t even warm. Called the takeaway twice and they didn’t even apologise. Good food normally but appalling service. If you want to eat here. Just know you’re hungry 2 hours before you are.

This is the best Indian food in the Wanstead area (and this is written by someone of Indian descent). It’s not the usual over oily curries you get from other local places that usually consist of one very similar flavour. Would definitely recommend

Todos los platos eran frescos y más que suficientes para dos personas, de modo que comimos dos cenas para dos de las raciones. He usado The Tiffin Tin en unas 5 o 6 ocasiones. El servicio es siempre pésimo. Lo cual es una pena, ya que la comida es muy buena. We ordered a takeaway as we have many times before but on Thursday 7th May after they had opened due to Covid-19 closure. The food overall was poor and since then we have all suffered with horrible stomach problems... we wonder if they used old food or gone off frozen produce rather than cooking freshly!?! Regardless we have decided to not order ever again which is a shame as the area suffers from a quality and healthy style Indian.

Todas las confirmaciones llegaron asegurándome que el pedido se estaba preparando, pero una hora después recibí una llamada del restaurante diciéndome que mi pedido no vendría. Todo este tiempo estuve pensando que me están cocinando y luego esta llamada. Hubiera exceptuado eso, pero el chico del teléfono fue bastante grosero diciéndome que debería haber sabido que vivo demasiado lejos. Bueno, me permitió ordenar, ¿cómo lo sé? No hubo disculpa alguna, simplemente no fue una muy buena experiencia el viernes. No recomendaría no usarlos, ya que creo que necesitan aprender de qué se trata el servicio al cliente. A menos que no te importe que te traten muy mal.
