Lunch today four people all excellent plus very reasonable price.💯😋we will certainly be back.

Very clicky locals and children in the bar after 9pm.

We had our sons party held in the garden Saturday just gone, it all ran smoothly and staff were very helpful. Came back on the Sunday for a roast and that was delicious!

Popped in for a drink. The pub has a lovely garden,partly covered but mostly laid to lawn with very pretty flower borders. There is plenty of seating. Inside the pub is quite dark. It has a jukebox and it plays in the garden too. They are closed on Mondays. There is a quiz night on Tuesdays and they offer a roast in Sundays There is a good size free car park

We went for a family fun day that started at 1400 but the bbq that was advertised was not there and the kitchen closed as we walked in so we had one drink and went somewhere else.

A nice pub with some good decor, the gardens are large and have a lot of seating in various layouts. There's seating under the cover of gazebos and seating under a wooden pergola as well as open air seating and seating under a lovely tree. We had an issue with food unfortunately on our visit as such there was none available as the pub had "Run out" there didn't appear to be many people there when we arrived so this may have just been an oversight or a one off mistake but disappointed none the less. Overall, it was a great little spot, and the staff were friendly and helpful, and I'll try again for a food experience. Tried again a few times and still never eaten here, last time kitchen closed at 2 and now I just bring food with me.

My starter of white bait was ages coming and was over cooked. Then, after another long wait, our steak and ale pies arrived. The very thin pastry top was black in places and even the meat inside at the top was burnt. Only by putting a load of gravy on them, could we get into the pie. When we complained, the reply was simply, "oh really, I'm sorry" My wife couldn't eat hers and I only ate the meat inside that wasn't too bad. Then, they charged us for both meals with no further apologies or explanation. Never again.

First time visit, everything was brilliant can't fault anything - definitely visit on a regular basis

Wow been here more than a few times the sunday roast is amazing. the staff make a fuss of you nothing is a problem. just a general lovely pub in a lovely place with lovely staff

Food was amazing - hot and cooked perfectly. And the chef was so nice! He checked that everything was good with the food as well which in my opinion really shows they care about their job. The lovely lady at the bar was chatty and really helpful - all adding up to a brilliant experience. Atmosphere was lovely- quiet music playing so we could still have conversation. Gorgeous beer garden. Menu had quite a lot of choice for everyone and everything that we had was cooked to perfection. Lots of parking and it's flat from the carpark to the pub making it really accessible. Will definitely be returning to sample the rest of the menu. Really recommend the jalapeno poppers - we're going back for them alone :)

This is our place for a monthly meet of our car club. Plenty of parking. A little dated inside but clean and tidy. HOWEVER..... the food is just lovely! A very large choice of menu, great portions and beautifully cooked. Prices aren't silly. The Pizzas are,in my view, the best I've ever had - Loaded right to the edge with fresh produce and enough there for sharing! Well done to the Chef.

We booked the side function room to celebrate my Sons 30th birthday/ leaving party. The team were so helpful and friendly, allowing us to decorate the room in the afternoon. I paid for a buffet for us which was freshly prepared, a little more variety of sandwiches would have been nice but overall it was fine. The party was a huge success and bar staff very great, and seemed to enjoy our celebrations! Lovely,authentic Kentish pub, loved by many. Thankyou guys!

Visited today.Been visiting on and off for many years .The pub hasnt changed much in all the years I've lived in Gillingham. Very nice garden for an outdoor lunch on a sunny warm day. My default meal is Fish and chips and this didn't disappoint. So often you get served a frozen to oven version but this was fresh and deep fried. As a yardstick I would assume this sets the standard for the rest of the menu. As it is dog friendly too it ticks the boxes for me.

Nice friendly pub, good real ale, visited twice now, l will pop in again. I've only had a drink here, maybe stay a bit longer next time and have a meal.

Outdoor area was nice, food was nice enough. Dietary requirements weren’t met but the offer to redo it was there but after an hour long wait, we thought best to just set that aside. Cutlery & glasses could have been a bit cleaner. Probably won’t be rushing back but it wasn’t terrible. Dog friendly but lots of dogs were not on leads…

Great food , lovely staff. Nothing too much trouble. Warm welcome, cozy fire place . Had the roast dinner. Proper home cooked food . Would highly recommend. Definitely going back ❤️👍

Had a great night meeting up with a crowd of 20 of us made to feel very welcome bar service excellent and a great night with karaoke some good locals singing however we were made to feel very welcome even though our singing wasn't great we would definitely recomend this pub for a great night out thanks to all.the staff and locals for a great night 😀 😊 👍

Very small pub, staff and the public there seem to know each other extremely well which is nice. This is a good place for friendly staff, good drinks and fun quiz nights. The food isn't great. I wouldn't recommend going there for your dinner unless you plan on getting drunk. I will say however, they are extremely generous with their nachos which is great! Loved the real fire place too.

Honest pub grub at sensible pub prices. Also health options available. Salads and jacket potatoes. We keep going back again and again. Plus our poodle likes all the local dog walks nearby 👌

Called ahead to book a table, but there was no need, even on a Sunday lunchtime, because there were lots of tables outside as well as inside. Greeting was friendly, the menu was good, and our food came quickly. Before it arrived, someone checked whether we would need anything extra, and subsequently whether we were enjoying our meal. Yes, we were.

We had a couple of drinks here in their lovely spacious garden. A shame there is no play area for children as it is big enough, but the kids enjoyed running around the large grassy area with the other children no less. We will definitely return.

Karaoke at the Three Mariners is such a welcoming and happy place! A wide variety of songs, great bar staff, wonderful landlords and the garden is amazing. Treat yourself!

First time at The Three Mariners for a birthday lunch. Lovely garden and very welcoming to dogs with water bowls outside & plenty of shade too for this hot spell which is exactly what we need with a white boxer. Food and service very good, we will certainly return again.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly, so accommodating for all our needs. The buffet that was provided was great. We used an area inside and enjoyed the garden. Highly recommend for any events you have and we will all be going back for the roast and pub lunches

Family and special friends attended our mother's wake held at this lovely pub. We visited the pub to enquire about holding the wake there and the staff were kind, supportive and welcoming. We had a lovely homecooked lunch in the pub whilst we made our plans. We were made aware that the wifi / signal is not good at the pub, but that didn't affect us at all. On the day we were able to run a photo slide show and have pics of mum up. The buffet was lovely, catering for guests who were vegetarian and vegan. There is plenty of parking too. A difficult day was made much easier knowing that everything was taken care of. It was a lovely way to celebrate mum with the relaxed and friendly atmosphere in the pub. We had several children in our family who were made welcome; we took colouring for them, but they were able to enjoy the garden. We really appreciate all of the effort and hard work to make it so special for us. We recommend the 3 Mariners to everybody! Big thankyou from Jenny & Cathy x

Such a lovely welcome in a very busy pub, looking to eat with friends, table reserved ahead of arrival. Friendly welcome and offered a choice of tables. Not rushed, enjoyed our drinks, ordered our food and sat enjoying our friends company. Highly recommend and will be returning

Went in with the wife and my son the other night and as much as we like this pub, the blonde woman behind the bar is rude. She was only concentrating on "regular" customers and left others waiting while she chatted. A table of 4 next to us had eaten and the man stood at the bar for nearly 5 minutes to order dessert. We watched the landlord exchange a customers wine with ice in it, the blonde woman picked it up, stood behind the bar right in front of us, scooped the ice out with her fingers, while saying "what's with people wasting f'ing good wine" and then proceeded to drink it. After spending nearly £100 on food and drink, we won't be going back in a hurry.

Had a brilliant night ..everyone was so friendly..and the atmosphere of the place was magic..

Food was OK, could have done with a bit more meat on the roast. A lovely big garden for the summer. Just wish it was easier to get to the bar, the locals took up all the space.

Fantastic pub, great staff and atmosphere any time of the year.... and we usually go on a Friday for the really good quality karaoke with Scott. Always a fun and friendly crowd.... and we make new friends every time we go. Superb food too, we eat there often. You really can't beat this place, highly recommended.

Roast dinner was disappointing. No stuffing with roast chicken & vegetables were frozen rather than fresh. Roast potatoes were also undercooked. Nice pub atmosphere and good real ale!

We recently chose this lovely pub to host a large gathering of family and friends to celebrate the life of my late husband. Steve and Dave were so obliging and went out of their way to make it a wonderful occasion, providing a tasty and varied finger buffet, which included vegetarian & gluten-free options as requested and making sure that everything was ok - which it certainly was! Everyone who came said that the atmosphere was brilliant and we all went home feeling very happy. Thank you Steve and Dave, we will be back soon.

This is a lovely out of the way pub. The atmosphere is great, the food quality is amazing and the landlords are great fun loving people. They also have a lovely garden for the nice weather. If you haven't been, give it a visit.

Cracking pub in the Kent Countryside. Good sized cat park, massive garden with loads of seating. Atmospheric bars and good selection of ales. Great food selection as well

We had early evening meal here today. Staff are so friendly and the home made food is really really nice. Did not need to book and made so welcome. Food is all home made and served nice and hot. The Three Mariners is a very dog friendly pub and has a large pleasant beer garden as well. We shall definitely go again

Ask for a coke it was a can with 85 pence printed on it and they had the cheek to charge £2.70 for it not impressed at all.

Visited this wonderful pub this week for lunch with my wife. Had a great lunch and the beer and cider was great too! Service was very good and they couldn’t do more to make us feel very welcome. Good value all around and will certainly be back very soon

Dropped into the Three Mariners for the first time in a while. Instantly made to feel welcome so we stayed for a meal and a few beers. Food was excellent, beautifully cooked, served quickly and at a reasonable price. Great to see 3 quality real ales which were all served i fine condition. We will be back often.

Just had an amazing lunch here (again). The best steak & ale pie I've ever had the pleasure to eat. Good parking & a lovely well kept/cared for garden for children to run free. Dog friendly too. Lots of seating in the shade when weather is hot/sunny.

Never been to this pub,and live local! Pleasant surprise,staff young and efficient,ice cold Guinness served.Best feature is large garden with lots of tables (undercover a lot,great for our weather),dogs welcome and lots of shrubs, plants etc.Bar area is small,but this expected due to age of pub.Food served ,but yet to try.Sunday carvery is available.Worth popping in especially if you visit Riverside Country Park or walk along river trail.

We visited in May 2022 and we did not enjoy our experience. I called to book the table a couple of weeks prior. We got to the restaurant and the man abruptly stated that he didn’t have our booking. The restaurant was empty and they could accommodate our group but his attitude was very poor about it. When it came to ordering, the attitude was just as poor. Every time he had to change something he threw his hands in the air and huffed, even though we had stated the correct thing, he just wasn’t listening. The food was very basic and over priced. The kids pizzas were clearly frozen ones that had just been thrown in the oven. The kids fish fingers didn’t have any veg, just fish fingers and chips. The adult meals were over cooked. We wouldn’t recommend this place and won’t be returning.

Best pub around, not just a local but a destination for anyone who likes a good Guinness and a good laugh with the owners, Poppy their dog is also a great highlight. Nowhere better in Rainham.

Nice pub, always a good ale on. Lovely enclosed beer garden. Perfect for a sunny day with dogs or kids..or both. The food is very reasonable and good. The roasts on a Sunday are fantastic.
