Great pub with great food, great staff and ale. Abbey does an excellent expresso martini....... The wife said it was one of the best she has had in a long 👏

Second time here and both times were excellent. Dog friendly. Alcohol free Lucky Saint on draught which other pubs should take note on and wise up to the fact that people who don’t drink need decent alternatives. Sharing platter was awesome - we loved the chilled vibe too. Only improvement I’d recommend is an alcohol free wine such as Nosecco for those that don’t want lager.

What a fabulous pub and dining experience. I had the Lamb Rump which was a tiny bit rarer than I would normally have it but still so tender, and the jus - wow. This was restaurant quality at pub prices, great value. The Cheshire Cat Pale Ale was lovely.

Staff really friendly and the food was brilliant, I had lamb rump it was lovely. Good variety of beers and other drinks. Dog friendly too

Came in for a thew drinks, was a lovely atmosphere and wasn’t too expensive for central London, I definitely recommend especially if you’re going to watch the MJ show as it’s right opposite the pub👍👍

Absolutely gorgeous place. Very busy when we arrived at tea time but thinned out. You can’t pre book but we had no trouble being seated. Handful of well behaved dogs around which I like. I had the lamb which was beautiful. My friends both had the cheese and onion pie. Staff very pleasant. Would definitely return.

We received gift cards for Christmas for The Three Greyhounds. We had an excellent meal which was beautifully presented, generous portions with beautifully cooked vegetables. We ate local ice cream for pudding which were delicious. The bar and serving staff were really friendly and helpful.

First time visiting and thoroughly impressed. Lovely, cosy atmosphere and dog friendly so will be bringing our beloved pooch with us next time. Highly recommend the game stew!

We were a part of 7 and 5 of the meals were not good. Salmon was burnt and overcooked, 3 Turkey dinners were cold and vegetables undercooked, and the pie was like a concrete crust that you couldn’t eat. Really poor. The server only came back towards the end to ask if all the meals were OK and we said no and hadn’t eaten most of the five. They knocked 2 off the bill! Forgot to say we booked at 7pm and got our main meals at 8.50pm and only 3 had a starter. Will not be going back again. Many more much better and also local.

Unfortunately this pub is poor as it is okay for drinks, it has a somewhat heated outside area and an okay inside area although tends to be very dark. The food however isn’t great you can see the KP if you are sat in the right place, the food hasn’t changed in a very long time and feels microwaved and not homemade. Also in certain areas if you are seated near the bathroom the smell isn’t great at all!

Stopped for lunch, greeted by great hosts, sat by a roaring fire and ordered the platter, pork pie, scotch egg, scampi, sausage, baked brie, pate and toasted sourdough, accompanied with caramelized onion and three dips, an ecliptic mix but it works, great ale and efficient pleasant service, will definitely return for an evening meal soon.

A lovely and lively pub. We arrived for a quick break but obviously not quite quick enough as the member of staff turned up and started to check if we'd finished and took away my husband's empty cup whilst I was still drinking mine. To his questions had we finished with our drinks,bi clearly replied "no". However, not too long after there he is again and this time also taking my cup away. We don't go out very often and we were there for about 25 minutes and the room we were sitting in was empty apart from us two. I would have preferred if the cups were removed after we had left the pub and not during the time we tried to relax and enjoy ourselves. Sadly and the coffee was delicious and came in nice blue and white cups, it took away from the overall experience of our first visit.

Easily the best pub roast dinner we have had for a long time! Service was friendly and attentive, food was DELICIOUS and very reasonably priced compared to some other local pubs of a similar vibe. Would particularly recommend the cauliflower cheese with the roast, and the banoffee mess for dessert was delightful. The atmosphere was super cosy. We had a really lovely evening, thank you!

me and my three friends came for sunday roast, service was excellent whilst sat outside on a beautiful autumn day. the food was easily the best roast dinner we’ve had in the area. will definitely be returning!

We had a lovely lunch by an open fire, food was good quality and reasonably priced compared to similar pubs in the area. I would highly recommend.

Stopped in on our was home from shopping. Staff welcomed us as we arrived, they looked happy in their work, and were very informative about what was on the menu. We found a table near the fire. The pub is cosy and makes you feel like you want to just snuggle up and stay a long time. We were given menus and asked if we would like drinks. Service was spot on. I ordered the fish of the day, cod lion with a creamy leek and pancetta sauce , served with garlic mash, it was heaven. My hubby had the burger, as he usually does! We shared a sticky toffee pudding which was yummy. Prices are very reasonable compared to other pubs in the area, and food is always great whenever we have visited. Definitely worth checking out if you haven’t already been.

I had Amercian friends over and took them to a old haunt of ours - The Three Greyhounds. We have always rated this place and the food was always knockout. It was our fav place before Covid. We even bumped into John Bishop one night having a meal with his family. We loved it. We noticed the management had changed, but the bar remained the same and were pleasant enough, but nowhere near the warm welcoming atmosphere from the previous manager, Simon(?). It seemed to lack something, as soon as we walked in, that I couldn't put my finger on. We ordered the food which looked great on the menu. Although the food was pleasant enough, it was nowhere near the standard it used to be. It was £100 for 4 adult / 2 children, and we would expect a higher than usual standard for the price. Sadly, it did not deliver. The food just wasn't served in a refined way, as it used to be, it was just average. The kids food was just a plate of chips and scampi, no veg (raw carrots, cucumber would have been a nice touch)...and it was dry. The steak sandwich was nicely cooked steak, but in toast! No refinement at all - nice homecooked bread with a salad inside would have been nicer. Pleasant pub, but has fallen into the ranks of average and with so much competition, it needs to get back to fantastic (as it used to be).

Have been here before but not for a while as they cater for dogs and serve dog meals. Stopped off for a meal for us and dogs after a lovely day at the beach. We got our meal but dogs didn’t, so had to chase it up and their meals had not gone through. When the dogs meals eventually came, I was so shocked. Two plastic takeaway containers with about half a dozen pieces of chicken, if that and nothing else. Call that a dog meal!!! They used to come in a dog bowl with meat kibble and vegetables. Absolutely disgusting, and they charge for that. Fortunately, we did not have to pay because of the mix up and the chicken made one of my dogs sick. Never go there again. Gone downhill in my opinion!!

Went for lunch; had not booked but that was not a problem. Having eaten there I can see why not. The service was at best indifferent and certainly was not service with a smile. The food was poor quality and rather greasy. The fish component of fish and chips was over cooked and tasteless, although the chips were good. We were underwhelmed and when asked if everything was OK and I replied that it was only OK and rather greasy the reply was a very offhand “sorry about that” - with zero empathy or interest. There are far better places than this and for the money I would expect far better food and service. We won’t be going back.
