The Three Craws in Glasgow City

Went in for a Sunday roast yesterday and it was awful. Freezer food, tiny portion and half a Yorkshire pudding. Wish I'd taken a photo. Made wetherspoons look like high cuisine. To make it worse they overbilled for it - I queried and the staff couldn't care less. Been a lot of times before but won't be back.

We came up from Kelso for the Glasgow Warriors rugby game against Sharks and the service was excellent and the staff very friendly, especially the hard working Irish guy who is a Munster supporter!

Popped into The Three Craws for Sunday lunch. Staff were great, very attentive. Lovely decor, very relaxing atmosphere. I had the two course Sunday lunch, soup first, and then the half chicken roast with all the trimmings which l really enjoyed. Reasonable prices. Definitely be back. 👌

Staff are so friendly and attentive, really nice atmosphere, clean and nice to sit in however the food is so so bad :( frozen roast potato’s with a Sunday roast is just abysmal. Everything tasted frozen and like it was bought in bulk from Iceland. Really disappointing. I don’t think I’ll ever be back unless actual fresh produce is being used. Deals are really good too but not worth it when you then factor in the food. Sorry guys, you are all lovely who work there though, it’s a shame the food lets you down.

The service was good, as always, but the food is gradually slipping downhill. I have been a regular customer for over 15 years, and for the first time I am thinking of an alternative. The portions aren't what they were, the presentation is sloppy and worst of all the quality of the food (especially fish) is not good enough.

Disappointed. Despite both your website and Google saying you are open from 10am on a Sunday morning, this is not the case. We were there at 10.30am only to be met with locked doors. Best to update your website or put openining hours up on the doors or windows. Just hope I'm not going to get charged for parking in the car park before leaving after 5 mins.

The worst stake I have in my life!

My daughter and her fiancé popped into the Three Craws for some soft drinks on the way home, probably around 45 minutes, really liked the place and hoped when they had more time, to go back for a meal. She has just opened her mail this morning and received a hefty parking fine from Euro car parks, there were no signs that they noticed and none of the staff made them aware. Future customers beware, the most expensive pub visit EVER !!😡

I recently stopped at this restaurant car park for half an hour as my daughter was going to dentist across the road and i couldnt find anywhere to park as its on a busy main road , i stopped here out of opening hours and i didnt even leave the car , now ive recieved a £100 fine through the door for being in an empty car park with either little of verynpoor signage , will certainly not be paying itnor ever dining in the place if you receive fines for using there car park

Why o why have live music AND different music from the speakers?????? Real ale's good when they have it but pricey if you don't go early in the week.

Visited on 10th February for grandsons 18th birthday 🎂 Most of the food was rather dry and all the burgers were almost overdone due to being on the grill too long and the chef needs to know there's a fine line between charred and burnt. The fries were a bit greasy. Saving grace were the good deserts and drinks.

Nice comfortable atmosphere with good service. I've been a regular at the Three Craws for many years and one of my favourite dishes was the "Ultimate Burger" so I was a little disappointed to discover that the 'egg' had been removed from the dish. It is now just a double burger with cheese and bacon with a significant price increase.

Went here for diner on 15 January parked in car park first time visitor .had a meal non alcoholic drink service was poor food was microwave but worst part was I got in post £100 for using designated car park

The staff and service are always a pleasure to deal with at The Three Craws. It was extremely busy when we arrived and not surprisingly the Sunday roasts were off, as was the non veg curry. The food we did order was good. Well cooked, without too long a wait, and good value for money.

Arrived on boxing day for family dinner, 8 of us , we ordered our meals and waited nearly an hour for our starters , we asked 45 mins later at the bar how long to be told it was just being made the now and then when the meals came out it was a shambles, they had mixed up our orders and the staff all young and inexperienced were getting flustered and stressed but we kept our cool and helped them out but during eating our food sitting at table number 1 near the kitchen, 1 of your members of staff stormed by in a bad mood in the kitchen shouting his head off. The food was nice so no complaints there but waiting so long and then the shambles had put us off ordering deserts. Would I come bk....... Yea ,I'll give it another try just because the food was nice

Went here for Boxing day dinner. Shambles from the minute we walked in. There was no special boxing day dinner menu (advertised) on the table and it seemed a hassle when my Bro in Law went to ask for them. Then had to wait nearly an hour for our starter . When asked we asked at the bar after 55 mins there was no apology just a simple "they are just being made" . Then once the food came out , they started bringing us plates of food that wasn't even for our table. Only reason 2 stars were given was because they food was decent.

We attended The Three Craws for Christmas Lunch today. The pub was set up beautifully, candles on our table and amazing open fire. The food was lovely, plentiful and well presented. The staff are always so friendly. Laura dealt with us at the time of booking, and was present on the day. We will return again for Christmas Lunch. The whole family throughly enjoyed it.

Came here for our pre booked Christmas dinner The restaurant never opened till 12 noon sign on door stating sorry for inconvenience Our table was not ready and one of many not to be prepared for Christmas A bit of a wait to be served as there was only two members of staff on both were run of their feet trying to serve at the bar and take food orders The food on Friday was not up to the standard of Thursday 14th December No atmosphere (no background music) Very very disappointed

Nice wee place off the crow road that has replaced many of the other places we go to catch up with family, friendly and good clean place which is suitable for kids.

Booked table for 2 Festive menue.On arrival taken to our table meal booked for 1o'clock.waited 45 min then got attention off staff were told they are very busy,eventury meal did arrive,sea bass over cooked and veg dried up along with burnt lemon,looked like it was put under a grill,pudding was not much better and staff not very well trained in customer service.Bar staff not much better not knowlegable about names if wines and all staff serving not once did they engage or smile when serving,all in all a very dissapointing festive lunch and will not recommend to anyone and will not be back to the Three Craws.

We booked santas breafast . When we arrived at at 9.50am the doors were still closed .SANTAS REINDEER WERE LATE! It lacked atmosphere we could have beenthere for a normal breakfast. My daughter has afew food intolerances which the restaurant was informed about on booking but waiter claims itwasnt passed on.They did hash together something. Then the breakfast arived with usual fare but roast potatoes WHo has roast potatoes for breakfast. Santa appeared for shorted time his engagement with kids wasnt great and he was clocke watching. Yes its wasnt majorly expensive . Our order for teas coffee weren ot included in the breakfast. WHAT restaurant does not keep a supply of gluten free bread when providing breakfast. POOR SHOW WOULD NOT RECOMMEND FOR KIDS BREAKFAST.

Recently visited for the first time. We had a table booked. All food was ordered online via QR code on the table. Food main meal and drinks arrived swiftly. Desert arrived but one was missing. Main meals arrived on hot plates which was good. Fish n chips was good, mixed grill was good the steak was a bit chewy apparently. I had a Dansak curry, personally I do make a lot of curries and I thought this one to be not very tasty, and the boiled rice was bland, looked like a microwave pack due to taste and shape, the two small nan breads were very dry, pale in looks and had the consistency of microwave style. I wouldn't order the curry again but think I'd visit again and have the fish which looked good. There was a decent table seated area with real look fire at one end. The table we had was very wobbly and uneven, sorted with a beer mat. Cater for children's meals too. Toilet facilities were appropriate with child / baby changing area. Staff were pleasant when delivering food. On the missing sticky toffe pudding order, our friend did not wish to make a fuss so this was not challenged. There are a decent amount of car parking spaces on site. They have a facility to register your cars parking space, at the bar reception area, which is free for your meal duration. If you are visiting for the first time I'd recommend you look at Google maps to ensure you enter the car park from the most effective direction as this is a very busy traffic location.

3 course festive menu £21 , great value ,the food was amazing ,there was 30 of us and we were all delighted , we will be back

We arrived on time for a 19:30 reservation to be told the kitchen was closing in 15 minutes. Several of our first choices on the menu were sold out. What we finally had was nice enough but the Three Craws has to improve to encourage us back.

A chain pub but a really pleasant place to eat. The steaks are terrific and very reasonable.

Lunch along with 2 colleagues, very convenient location on north of the city, was met with friendly welcoming staff who sorted out menus and served up everything as we had asked for. Quality and quantity of servings was very good. Had an issue with a parking charge, had to later contact the restaurant and was assisted by Kenneth who took details and sorted out the problem quickly and without fuss. Would definitely use the venue again.

The staff were pleasant. That’s the good bit. We all ordered fish and chips as it’s easy to get right. Wrong. The first stab of the fish oozed oil. I had to search through this oily mess to find little bits of fish. The batter was really horrible. It was disappointing as I wanted to like the place. It’s a good central point to meet friends but I won’t be back.

Just left The Tree Craws. My first visit and will also be my last. My friends had booked a table for us. Party of 4 ordered 2 x sirloin steak rare and 2 x ribeye medium rare. The ribeye when it arrived was absolutely not ribeye ( not even sure if it was rump) and was grossly overcooked. Worse still the sirloin gave off a rank smell. I sent mine back but the replacement was the same, very obviously meat that was out of date. Rather than cause a fuss I moved it about on my plate but did not eat it. Undercooked chips accompanied this disaster. My partners sirloin was as tough as old boots although at least his chips were cooked. To try improve the atmosphere as our hosts were beyond embarrassment (also as I was still hungry) I ordered an Eton mess. This was served as one scoop of ice cream and pieces of meringue and pouring cream. Not a hint of fruit or whipped cream. There is a sign on the bar that due to circumstance food is only served until 7.45pm. This is obviously due to the fact that there is no chef on the premises as I can't think of any chef worth his salt would serve the food that we had been given and would have known the ingredients of Eton Mess. I had thought of sending this complaint to the management but wild horses could not drag me back to this establishment.

Booked a dinner for four two weeks prior on line Unfortunately we when we arrived we were told the kitchen was closed! I was not informed of this by phone as what happened the last time this or by email which the girl said I must have been and had missed it This is not true as double checked photo be including junk file When I said I booked on 3/10 she said they didn’t accept bookings that day, so why send a confirmation? Very unimpressed by attitude of this person and the 4 of us, including a 86yearold go once a month but will probably not be back The mixup in booking was definitely not my fault despite what the girl behind the bar said Surely an apology and offer of a voucher or glass of wine would have been appropriate Fortunately we managed at get a table at Little SoHo and jags a lovely meal there

Having read some of the others reviews, I would agree that the quality has dropped significantly over the past number of months. I’ve been going here for years and I have to say that this is only the second time in as many visits that I’ve been disappointed. The first time I recognised that there were sudden changes in the staff, but this time I couldn’t chalk it off to that. Let’s start with the nachos. I’ll be honest and say that I can and do make better nachos myself. I’ve been eating these for years here, and my last visit had to be the worst I’ve had by far. The nachos used to be loaded with cheese, then this was substituted with less cheese and more liquid, squirt-able cheese over the past year or so. This last time, there was almost no real cheese to be found. The pretend cheese had taken over. The nachos also used to be large and fried. They were really good. This time it was just bowl full of cold Dorito style crisps. It wreaked of cost-cutting, even though the price of the nachos hasn’t changed to reflect the quality that is being served. We then had the burger. I used to enjoy the burger here. Homemade, thick and chargrilled. The juices used to pour out of it. Not this time. It really looked over-cooked. It was thin and just lacking in everything that made it what it was. The lettuce and tomato slices were secondary considerations - like they were on a diet themselves they were that pitiful in size. All in all, I used to be a real promoter of the Three Craws. I even convinced staff members to come here for a Christmas night out. I can’t say I would do the same this time round.

Sunday roast was amazing delicious desserts . Young lady that served us was so friendly. Think we may be back this Sunday again for our roast . I asked for mint sauce and they didn't have any the younger server went out his way to make me something better than mine sauce. Thank you

Poor from minute walked in, no greeting, just left to wander & ask a staff member where to sit. Picked table 6 which still had remains of last diners. Noted the note on the bar advising of no beef today. My main of prawn & salmon parcel was awful, half the pastry was hard, broccoli completely overcooked, parsnip was chewy, The prawns were like rubber, the salmon was sparse. The Yorkie pud & gravy was the only thing tasty. The waiter taking the plate away never queried as to the amount left on the plate! No coffee ordered, finished our drinks & left, never likely to return.

Mixed grill is always perfect. The hunters chicken is always a bit poor looking considering how much it costs. A bigger breast of chicken would be better with a few slices of bacon rather than 1 and more barbecue sauce.

The food was good and the service was excellent We were 5 adults and one very energetic toddler. The staff were great with the wee one, very patient....the manager was fantastic. He very discreetly asked if we wished the ice lolly for our wee one,which we really appreciated as we were not yet ready for dessert and wanted the wee one to wait. All in all a very good experience. The barman, Kenneth was very friendly and welcoming and remembered my drink from previous visits and the food was lovely I had a BLT (minus the T and with onion instead) and onion rings the kitchen has never failed to deliver flavourful food so good
