this cafe is clean and very good at welcomijg people as always staff friendly as usual meals pipping hot as usual altogether a nice experience going again soon

My husband and myself had 2 breakfasts he had a large had a smaller one both were lovely cooked perfectly, coffee lovely, didn't wait long for breakfast .would recommend.

Visited The Thirsty Gardener cafe at the Colne Valley Garden Centre for a cuppa with my brother. He tucked into a full English breakfast, which he thoroughly enjoyed. Carol served me with a large tea and on asking provided me with a mug with a lovely design for coffee on it. I felt right at home. Good food, good value and great staff.

Excellent food great service and excellent value for money. The whole place is exceptionally clean and very welcoming to dogs.

The cafe is very airy and clean with lots of tables. The staff is very friendly and efficient, with very prompt service. The food is excellent value for money and will be coming back.

Friendly staff, great food and very welcoming. I highly recommend. The tuna melt was just what I needed. Next time the homemade cottage pie. It looked hearty and very tasty. Price wise it’s more than reasonable. Well worth a visit(weekly)

I've been coming here since I was a baby we used to live on end off road so was always our go too recently I've been going with my grandma who unfortunately has Alzheimer's And the staff are always so friendly not just with us but the dog aswell love the atmosphere and will definitely be back lovely food aswell as shop that offers more than just garden necessities it's always been my favourite place around Christmas ever since I was a kid

I first came here alone in December 2024, needing to pass an hour before an appointment nearby. I was so impressed by the cosiness of the place - nicer than the photo, here, as I was able to lounge on a sofa - by the friendly service, and by the delicious scone and coffee. Indeed, I was so impressed that I took my brother here for lunch a few weeks later. Excellent panini for me, and for him an all-day breakfast. Then, I took a friend 2 days ago. She loved the atmosphere, the friendly staff and her bowl of chips, while I couldn't resist another cherry scone with jam and cream. The staff always make us feel very welcome. Thank you! I'll be back.

Absolutely fab service and unbelievable value for money! Regular breakfast but, two teas all for about £13. Food was of high standard and arrived quickly. Lovely breakfast, thankyou

Cracking little cafe, the full breakfast is huge and doesn’t disappoint! Proper chunky chips too which is always a bonus

I had breakfast from here, and I've got to say, I was very surprised with the portion sizes. You get good quality food at a great price. Couldn't knock it. I will definitely be returning again for another breakfast. Staff were very polite, attentive, and friendly, too, and I was all very happy to help. Would definitely recommend it to others.

Can I just say the lady who served us was lovely .the price was fair for what we had ,we had full montys with drinks the coffee is lovely, I wasn't impressed with the breakfast just a bit too greasy for me the hash browns were deep fried they were hard and crispy,the sausage was deep fried and a bit bland for me,my bacon was lovely and eggs perfectly cooked I could taste the oil on them tho as same for mushrooms a bit less oil would be nicer but that's my preference. It was well laid out on plate,I would go again for breakfast but would be just a sandwich. I hope it's an honest fair review of my experience.

Had breakfast with a friend. One of the best breakfasts we've ever had, we both said the same! Not greasy and perfectly cooked. Service was cheerful and professional. £3.95 including toast! We will be back.

We are regulars at The Thirsty Gardener, great menu with vegetarian options. Lovely home cooked meals and good portion sizes. It also has a fantastic OAP and Kids menu. The food is always quick with a very friendly service from the staff

well presented 4 plated breakfasts we all ordered different variations but we were all served at the same time and it was all hot and fresh. Good quality ingredients. Nice atmosphere and it was very popular Good price Pleasant staff

We came in here for a birthday breakfast for my little boy. They did an amazing job made us feel so welcome and even brought out the birthday cake I brought in for him.
