All day breakfast still only £4.95, tastes good and served by real human beings. The location might be a little off-putting to some - in a corner of an indoor market building - so it's for a good bite to eat rather than posh dining. I bet most of the users have bus passes

All day breakfast £4.95. 2 eggs 2 bacon 1 sausage black pud mushrooms beans and tomatoes toast and a cuppa. Great value. Great tasty food. Get yourself down and try it. Well worth a visit. Great staff. They would have been closing soon and they still cooked our breakfasts x

It may only be a market cafe, but it served us up an excellent, very generous breakfast, at a very reasonable price, including an extremely good mug of tea. It's extremely busy and sometimes you may have to share your table. We were lead on to The Tea Chest by my mother-in-law, who goes regularly for luch. There are also specials which change regularly. The staff are friendly, despite being rushed off their feet. It's not a fine dining experience, but good honest food at a more than reasonable price.

First visit in a long time, but hopefully not the last. Went for dinner with my son and son in law. The steak and blue cheese/walnut salad was absolutely beautiful and so full of flavours and textures. The boys also enjoyed theirs immensely. Staff lovely, and surroundings homely. Thanks so much.

Went to Bench for the first time for a drink so didn't try the food. My friend however did order the chicken wings that looked a "little rare" for my liking, though he was in work the next day so probably just my preference. Beer selection was alright, you'll be paying £5-£6 a pint so make sure the designated driver, At £4 a glass of coke you might want to stick to the water. Overall a pleasant, quirky experience with a beer garden and inside dining.
